First Impressions.

Salone slowly regained contentiousness just as Jake hit the ground. She crawled out on her grey white stomach and licked at his ears and the back of his neck trying to get him to wake up. Sasha seemed to sense her desperation and joined in, by this time however Penny had noticed Jake on the ground.
"Salone get the door," She said softly, her watch whirred and she was encased in scaly black armor, the machine gave her extra strength that would allow her to lift Jake up. Salone, still as a wolf, slipped through the dog door, followed by Sasha. Salone got the door and she looked tired and haggard. She trailed after Penny as she moved him to the guest room; the pendant winked at Salone's neck and she fingered it nervously, sitting down next to the bed. Penny gave her a disapproving look as the armor came back off and folded back into her watch. She sighed and left the room, leaving Salone to rest her head on the desk and wait.

I woke up and had no idea what was going on.
  "Is this what it feels like to have to go to work?" I asked with a little laugh.

Salone had fallen asleep at the desk, her face buried in the crook of her arm and her hair fanned out around her. She woke up shortly before Jake did and she barely had time to rub the sleep from her eyes when he awoke. It was about one in the morning and it was still dark out, Penny must have gone to sleep a while back.
"Your awake," She breathed, moving her chair over next to his bed. "You passed out... or I think you did... I was kinda mostly asleep when that happened."
Her dark brown eyes searched his face, his eyes were different and his hair, it was darker too... "Jake? What happened?"
Jake did promise he would come back... but there was something different and Penny refused to say anything about it.

"I reversed the damage done by killing Vuulthran. I didn't know how hard it was on a human body to come in contact with a Focus Site." I confessed. Still saddened by the deaths of so many dragons. My hair was even darker now, my eyes were too. I smiled at the prospect that I was now learned enough with the modern humans to say my eyes going from bright blue to dark was symbolism of my losing innocence. I can't let her know that as I unlock focus sites I kill parts of 'jake'. But her cure has to be in there somewhere.
"So how do you feel!?" I smiled as I struggled to sit up.

Salone reached out and smoothed away some of his darker hair with her fingers from Jake's sweaty face, "Then don't do it again if it hurts. I'm not worth it."
She stated stubbornly, her jaw set.The pendant glowed in the hollow of her neck, illuminating her ears, nose, mouth, and lips in great detail, but her eyes were like dark pits giving it an eerie quality. She offered support as he attempted to sit up, sliding her arm behind his back, and adjusting his pillow so he could lean back comfortably. Salone was doing this out of habit, from her nursing classes she had been attending and taking.
"I feel much better," She said. In a quiet voice Salone added, "Thanks Jake."
Indeed she felt much better, instead of crawling all over the pain seemed to have settled into the pit of her stomach, She felt like she had a year or so ago.

"now ya see, this is exactly why you mortals need to let us "Gods" judge you. You obviously can't judge yourself accurately. Even if you're an Athiest... " I told her. She was worth it. Okay, so even as an 'Old God' I may not be the almighty entity, but when mortal souls come to Seppam we judge. Granted not every sould came to Seppam. I just remember edthatbshe said she was an Athiest. I finally knew what that meant. I hugged her and snickered. "Just because you don't believe in me....doesn't mean I don't believe in you." I whispered. I hated to do this, but she wasn't about to let me do this for her. I used my water dominion to bring water in her blood to her brain in just the right way. There was no way it could hurt her, bit it would ideally knock her out. Once he had the oppetunity to 'escape' I would. Focus Sites weren't going anywhere....but Salone was if I didn't find the details to that cure. The only thing certain was that the cure was all on her....I could only help at best. Buf knowledge Iis power.
I plan on leaving...but it wouldn't surprise me if something popped up.

Salone rested her head on his shoulder and sighed, "That isn't what I meant when I said it, you have it in the wrong context, I meant-"
Then she was gone, dead asleep due to Jake's work on her blood stream. But escape would not be easy for him, her arms where wrapped around his middle, not to mention Sasha was asleep outside the door and the windows were locked. The house also had a security system that would need a pass-code so Jake could get out. Since one of the talking residence was dead asleep in Jake's arms, the only other one who could be bothered was Penny, who was a light sleeper upstairs in her room.
When sleeping, the lines of pain vanished from Salone's face along with the seemingly permanent wrinkle in her brow.

Who in all the realms of Fate locks themselves IN their house? These two trying to protect the world from them or something? I froze up wondering what a rabid Salone on the loose would be like. Whoopsies. I looked at Salone and smiled. She was so stupid, how could she seriosuly not be worth it. She's the only human i've met so far tht actually took the time to try and understand me, and not just shoot me or force me to eat ham sandwiches.
    I needed to wake up Penny. I used my water amnipulation powers to poke penny awake and made the water form a hand that used the index finger to bring her to me. I slipped from under Salone and sat by the door hugging my knees. Waiting for her to come.

Penny buried her head underneath her pillow when something wet and cool touched her skin, blearily she opened her eyes to wave Sasha away when she saw the watery blob form into a beckoning finger...
She scrubbed her eyes thinking she was dreaming. When she realized she wasn't she yelled and fell out of bed, trying to beat the thing with a wooden bat. But as one can imagine it didn't work too well. It took her about point five seconds for her to realize someone was trying to grab her attention. She stumped down stairs and went into Jake's room. Sasha wagged her tail and trotted in, finding Jake immediately and she tried to lick him around the ears. Penny looked around at the scene, Salone asleep on Jake's bed, Jake looking like a small child waiting to be reprimanded, and the whole vibe of the room.
Penny crossed her arms, "What is it now?"

"I need out." I said to her. She really didn't like me much. Didn't care to be honest. She was nice to Salone, who was nice to me, so in the end she was nice to me anyway. I don't think that's actually logical is it? "i need to leave, like...soon. I wanted to keep good to my word. I'll answer questions...or I'll just leave...." I said. I looked to the door. Either way I would need her 'blessing' to leave. Not really. I could always just walk out the door, or transform in the middle of the puny mortal house. I fel like screaming 'JAKE SMASH!' when IU do it. NO! No, not going to do it. Not going to crush...puny...human...houses. She needs to let me get some air and ask her questions though.

Penny sighed uncrossing her arms and beckoned to him to follow.
"So you have hydrokenisis? Or something of that sort?" She asked in a low voice, punching in the security code, disarming the alarm. Her voice was quite and gentle, unlike the grumpy Penny was earlier. Her Circuit emotions had drained away to show the actual sleepy Penny. "Jake, tell me whats going on so I know what to tell Salone when she wakes up."
Penny twisted her long dark brown hair out of her face and rubber banded it into a bun waiting for an answer. Salone was going to be very mad when she woke up and figured that Jake had knocked her out. The explosion that would happen in the morning would be a disaster waiting to happen.

"I promised no magic....but I can honestly say that "Magic" doesn't exist. There are just two types of technology. The kind humans use....and that my people use.... You wanna know what to tell her? Tell her im going to the other Focus Sites and I'll be back when I've got an answer to her cure." I told her. I couldn't wait to see the look on her face.

Penny arched an eyebrow... Magic again? Hmm... it seemed to be cropping up everywhere.
"I like your explanation better," She said shrugging. At the look on his face she grinned, "Salone has her secrets, I have mine. I'm not going to stop you... but I also won't stop her if she chooses to go after you."
She opened the front door, "You have no idea how big of a can of Hell Cat you just opened."
With that Penny let him go.

"No matter how big the cat it, I'll bet I'm bigger!" I said to her, the humor probably lost on her. I looked at her again and nodded. "Thanks...for everything.". I said before taking off towards the Ocean.

Penny offered a small smile, "Just don't do anything rash!" She called after him before turning back towards the house and locking the door behind her.

Salone woke up at about nine thirty am and she rolled over and buried her face in the pillow. It smelled distinctly of the ocean. Salone bolted upright remembering last night. Then she smelled pancakes... Penny cooking? not good.
The woman got off the bed and started down stairs, spotting Penny.
"What happened?" Salone asked, putting her hands on her hips.
"He left," Penny responded, flipping a pancake.
"I gathered that, where did he go?"
"He said to the sites..."
Salone sighed at the dog who in turn looked at her, "Your in on this too." She told Sasha.

I have no idea...where I'm at. There's just open land and black lines that the car things were flying past on. I had gone north since I left Salone's house. I was SUPPOSED to be in Canada, but yeah. No clue where I'm at. The nearest sign said Excalibur City 85 Miles.

"It makes you sound unintelligent." A voice said. It was familiar. I rubbed the back of my neck and chuckled nervously.
"Oh sorry Ale-!" I froze dead. No one was there...I just heard Salone's voice and almost called her.... I needed to sit for a second. I just made the most heartwrenching error ever.
