Personality: Jason has a tortured past. It can easily be noticed by his constant anxiety and ruthless protection of his friends. Jason has no qualms about killing those who endanger the innocent. He lives and breathes just to protect innocence and to ensure that his powers are used only for the maximum good they can be used for.

History:   Jason was born prematurely, his full skeleton was developed, even at the early stages of pregnancy. Jason was not meant to be born. During his mothers early stages of pregnancy doctors convinced her that Jason would not be normal when he was born, she accepted this and granted permission for abortion. The doctors were just millimeters from Jason's body when a strange growth spouted from the fetus and would not allow the needle to proceed. The anomaly protected him from all angles.

Doctors were stunned, and having failed the operation, told Jason's mother that she would be having the baby via C-section in 30 days. Jason was already nearly fully developed at this very early stage.

When Jason was born the guilt his mother felt when looking into his little eyes was heart wrenching. She wept at the prospect of having tried to have him killed. Jason knew not of what guilt his mother held within because of him.

Jason's mother committed suicide when he was only 6 years old. Leaving only a note that said "I'm so sorry, Jason. Please forgive me."

Through his youth Jason was confirmed as a metahuman, because of the strange development he had. Bones would protrude from his body to accommodate any situation. Any danger was averted by his own bone structure.

As he grew older, these capabilities became more and more perfected, his body could completely cove itself in bone for protection. The bones could be created and launched from his body at such high speed he could out gun a light machine gun.

It was when he was celebrating his 21st birthday that Jason met the love of his life. Jason married the woman of his dreams only months after this. Nothing could have been better in his life, nothing more satisfying than being abnormal and living normally. Jason found comfort in having a woman in his life, given that he only had his mother for a short amount of time. Jason and Bethany lived peacefully, and eventually she became pregnant with Jason's child.

Jason had always wanted to be a father. He vowed to be the very best father he could be. Like his father had been for him his entire life.

Jason received a call from the hospital while at work in his office to find out that his wife had been caught up in the cross fire of a robbery, and that she was in critical condition. By the time he had arrived he found only that the dead child in his wife's womb had grown spines out of control and caused her to die as well.

The fabrics of Jason's reality had been wiped clean. He had no more hope for a better world. He had no more hope for being normal. He had caused the deaths of the ones he cared for most, they had been taken from him.

Jason has gone under the name of Rhine and has began his quest to rid the world of evil. To earn redemption for his fallen loved ones. To make them proud of him. For his mother, for his wife, and for the child he never had the chance to see.



Power(s): Osteocyte Manipulation(8):  Rhine can grow bones rapidly as he feels the need. Bones will also react to incoming threats completely on there own- Forming barriers and spikes wherever needed.  Rhine can use this for many things.

The Perfect Defense: Rhine's body goes beyond what any body does. It will react and intercept threats as needed by forming bones both inside an out of the body. Rhine is very durable

One: Rhine has become 100% in tune with his senses and his body's ability. He can move flawlessly and gracefully in combat, using his body's built in defense to know when an attack is coming.  Rhine has learned how to flow with his body in combat.

Bone Pierce: While Rhine does not have more than average human level strength, his bones grow at accelerated speeds, therefore jutting out of his body with the potential to be launched as a solid projectile. Rhine uses this method while punching to act as a sort of, hole puncher and pierce enemies with strong, inhuman levels of damage.
