Faster Than Lightning.

"Wow, really?" James said from beside him. "That was awful, dude. Still the lightning ball was pretty impressive, nice job." With that, he overtook him, rounding a corner at an incredible pace. James began to run backwards, turning to shout at Chase. "Hey, looks like i'm faster than lightning!" (Out of character: I'm sorry dude that joke was way too easy for me to make.) With that, he turned back, sprinting onto the freeway and heading out of state. Soon of course, police cars began to follow the pair there too. Alright, now it was time for him to return the favor. Once again turning to Chase, he posed a question. "Alright, we both know you can't outrun these cars, or at least not as quickly as I can. I'd abandon you right now...but I don't want to. So how about you fly down here and I carry you on my back? That way I will be able to accelerate and leave these guys in the dust. How about that?" James slowed down a bit, in case Chase wanted a safer landing.

Chase, because of his ignorance and pride, said "Dude it's bad enough we are running away from the police because of you. But riding on your back? Man, thats just Humiliating." Chase looked back and saw the outlines of the car and looked at James. "But on the other hand i would rather not get caught." Chase mumbled to himself. "Embaressment or capture. Embaressment or capture. I think I'll go with capture." Chase said. But if he did go with that he looked like he just gave up. And Chase never gives up. So when Chase flew down he put his leg, knee to shin, on Jame's back. "This is my only requriment. I ride your back like this.

Rolling his eyes, James agreed and set off. Running was slightly more difficult now Chase was essentially dangling behind him, swinging everywhere in a slightly comical fashion. However, he managed it, despite the flailing. Eventually, he wore off the police officers, exiting the city and entering the sprawling green lands surrounding it. James slowed down, looking behind him. "How are you doing back there? I think we lost them."

Chase looked back and indeed saw that all the cops were gone. so chase suddenly let go of James and flew up to say "Yea, We lost them. what should we do now?"

Toby had finally taken his much needed vacation. He had been working really hard the past few weeks. It was nice to have a private jet to fly him wherever, whenever.

Toby always made sure to keep a police scanner on him at all times. The earphones in his ears wern't actually playing any music.

Toby decided to take a look at the Lincoln Memorial, he stood there with his sunglasses on and sleeves rolled up. Then suddenly over the feed, police reported an emergency, they weren't very specific, but they made sure to describe the suspects very clearly. Toby calmly walked out of the memorial at started down the way the two young men were last sighted. He reached onto his wrist and punched a few buttons on an invisible wrist piece, turning on the heat sensory vision. Familiar blueish greenish redish orangish images appeared in his vision, he spotted two very hot heat signatures, and started to follow them from a decent length.
