Question regarding occult. And int.

So would having a 4 in both intelligence and occult would that be spending only 5 points since intelligence and occult are the same or at least use the same points until level 3?

You dont need points in both int and occult. You can have 0 int and 7 occ and still be smart.

You can have OCC gear and INT gear if you want, but I dont see any reason to have both unless your character is some mad inventor. I mean, OCC and INT gear are identical in HOW they work, just the SOURCE of the power is different.

If you want a mega gadget guy, you would want INT and OCC.
And if you want two full stats, you'll be paying for all the points in the stats.
Sure the first three points share descriptions, allowing characters to know of the occult/supernatural/etc and also know about little bits of technology.
But, no, the points are not shared between the stats. If you want to put more than 5 in each stat, go for it.
