An unusual invitation

Julia walked through the streets of Atlanta. It had been a few days since she ran into that knight. It made her sad she hadn't run into him again. That was the best she felt in a long time, also the most fun she had in about two centuries. But then again she had been laying low for the past few centuries. She started to wonder if she should get out more. Currently she was walking in down town Atlanta. Despite her lost in thought and her strange clothing she walked through the crowd with an air of superiority and stayed relativity unnoticed. She stayed deep in though until someone bumped into her. Angrily she turned around but the person who had bumped into her had disappeared back into the crowd. It was then when she noticed a small piece of paper stuffed into her clothes. Reaching down she picked up the paper. All that was on it was an address. Julia figured it was a summons of some sort but who was looking for her and how did they find her. She figured she would learn when she got there.

The address led to a small warehouse in the industrial district of Atlanta. Julia walked into the building, I seemed empty aside from a few boxes. "Whoever you are I'm impressed, you where the first person to find and be able to contact me in 200 years. So needless to say I'm impressed. Now show yourself before I set fire to this damn warehouse and decide that this was a waste of my time."

Coronel had commanded a minion to go and take a note to this new person Elena wanted. He would reach Atlanta the same time he would. Elena was busy dealing with some of the crap that Dominus was putting them through, and collecting the weapons and the several keys. He spoke with Elena on the new person and she warned him not to take her lightly. He had his things prepared while the henchmen was already on his way. He boarded a taxi about a few miles away from the headquarters in the middle of a road next to a cafe.

he had arrived to the air port in no time and he figured his other man was already in here too waiting for a plane. As he thought this the guy stood up and handed Coronel a ticket. Ahh thank you okay so when we land you know what to do and then you go back to head right. Roger he answered. They both entered the plane and sat down beside each other in first class. He thought to himself how Elena was really awesome especially do to all her money.

In about a few hours they landed in Atlanta airport. The biggest airport in United States. Wow it was easy to get lost and he did not have much more time before the guy left and went out for the girl. He left and Coronel went his way heading straight for the warehouse that he had picked out a few days before coming here. A taxi drove him half way and he decided to walk the rest. It took no time especially with flying. He had made his way inside and he looked around. This place looked deserted as well as the buildings around. A few minutes later someone had come bursting in under Coronel. he was bored and floated around and had made his way over the door. She told him to reveal himself.

Ok I'm coming down and as he said the he slammed down on the ground a good 10 meters away from her. Hello madam my name is Coronel, Coronel Liffy and I was the one who requested you here under orders. As he greeted he bent over and bowed before her taking his hand and curling it around his chest. He showed her respect hoping to calm her down enough to talk. He lifted his overcoat to the side and pulled out a envelope. He handed it to her with little info needed to get her interested. Any question would be answered and if she did not accept she was not needed to know the identity of Shade.

Soon after she told the person to revel themselves a man came floating down. He bowed and introduced himself as Coronel Liffy. "Great, human, and one with powers it seems." said Julia with an air of superiority. She looked at the man in disgust. "Who gave you the orders to find me." She took the letter and read over what it said on it. "Hmm.... if you are trying to sell me on something you are going to have to do better then this. But I will say, you have my interest."

Yes this is sort of rough just jumping in front of you not to mention how the henchman probably put the letter in your pocket. But we have seen you unique skills and we would like you to join in. And to say we don't just accept any random person off the streets. We know how you do your business so now we want to pay you a great sum of money to help do ours. He basically repeated what Elena said to him the day she invited him in. Although Coronel would join anything as long as he had money. Coronel raised up his hand and out slid a clean and nice table. And behind it was two matching chairs to the table.

He pushed out the seat away from the table and asked if she would feel more comfortable sitting down. Thanks to Elena she provided other henchmen to help set up food and entertainment and he had money on his own if she decided she needed to walk or go somewhere else to eat. The men rushed to the table popping off a cloth. But at the same time the others were setting plates, drinking glasses, silverware and much more. They had set food all around and pulled off a tray where a piping hot to warm plate of food sat for them both. If you don't mind I had my boss set up food and entertainment. So its compliments on her not being able to come in person. If this is to much I will go out anywhere you want and entertain you if need.

Coronel looked around and wondered what to do next. Or maybe do something to make this place look better. Ok, thanks for your service be on stand by for now. He said and the men obeyed and hurried out an exit. Well shall we?

Lotus continued to look at Liffy, her face still in disgust. "If you know how I do business you must of been very busy, you would also know that I have built quite a fortune and in no need of money. You would also know that I don't play well with others." said Julia. "To of found me you must know this." Julia saw a bunch of what she guessed where henchmen swarm in after Liffy raised his hand. In a matter of moments a table was set up. After a few more seconds the table looked like it came out of a high end restaurant. She couldn't help but mentally admit it was impressive but she kept the same look of disgust on her face.

"If your boss just allows you to spend their money, must not be a very good hierarchy." said Julia. "I'd rather not dine with some lowly peasant like you but your offer still does interest me, so I'll humor you for now. Here is fine." She walked to a seat and sat down. Not caring if Liffy tried to be chivalrous. "Before I even consider your offer seriously I need to know more about this organisation." Julia cut a bit of her food off, which was some kinda of chicken. She looked at the food carefully, to check see if there was anything finny about it. She put her knife down and reached for her wine. She smelt the wine trying to see if it was poisoned as well.

As she started to get into her food he looked around. Hmm? How could I put this. He wondered and thought. Well I'm not suppose to just spill everything on the table at one time. But I can tell you if you join you can forget about having to slave around. My leader Elena will have henchmen work to your every desire. When you come to the base if you decide to join, you can talk to Elena in person. She will explain more. He snapped and the people came back out and started picking up after them. Then one of them ran out with a trench coat. Coronel stood as one of them pulled the chair out from under him. He stretched out his arms and the worker put the coat on him.
