Edward is a scientist. He has the glasses, the weak looking demeanor, the slightly disheveled facial hair and he has rarely combed his hair. For those that take a closer look, they might find a man with black-brown hair, brown eyes, and pale skin with a long nose, short chin, and oddly shaped ears. He has a narrow face, but soft features overall despite the odd shape of his face. As far as his body goes, he is thin and unimposing to look at, and overall he looks the part of a geneticist.

Personality:

Edward keeps to himself unless he is researching with his colleagues. He is very antisocial, and prefers the safety of his own thoughts to any conversation. Whenever possible, he will have as little to do with others as he can. Edward has no one that he truly opens up with… because he has a certain level of dissociation with society, given the abilities he has inherited.

Edward Shae has a long history of genetic research. Born in Virginia, he attended medical school in an accelerated program under the financial aid of his family. With excellent grades, he graduated cum laude at the age of twenty. From there, he went on to become a renowned geneticist, with great strides being made in genetic alteration.

His family died tragically in a car accident five years ago. Since then, Dr. Shae has become increasingly isolated from his friends and colleagues, focusing more and more on his work. Our observers find him suitable for the task set forth by the CIA. These projects will be classified as top secret, and officially have never happened. No written record is to be kept of them outside of the research facility directly overseeing the project. Upon project completion, all records are to be destroyed. All research is to be submitted to [Data Classified - Level 6] for the use in [Data Classified – Level 6].

Superhuman Intellect: Splicer’s unfortunate time under the knife has mutated him in interesting ways. In the most basic sense, he understands nature at a fundamental level that is beyond most people’s comprehension. When he sees a flower, he does not see beauty. He sees every scientific fact and application possible. His mind was warped by the mutation in order to give him understanding and insight, particularly towards genetic. The amount of information his mind can process and understand at once is staggering.

Gene Splicing: Splicer takes his name from his ability to splice genes from various creatures together to create a new creature. Once Splicer has enough genetic material to create a new creature, the process can take place almost instantly. These creatures can be extremely simplistic… or incredibly complicated and adaptable.

Gene Replication: Once Splicer has taken a genetic sample, he may absorb and replicate it. This means that he only needs one sample in order to recreate it and reuse it endlessly.

Hive Mind: Splicer is mentally linked to the minds of any creature he splice. This gives him access to any information and memories created by those creatures, and can take control of his creatures remotely. He can take control of many creatures at once, due to his ability to process such a vast amount of information at once.
