The Looks

Pitch O'Dell comes off as a wiry, intelligent looking man. A disarming smile constantly plays across his pronounced features. His brows shift just so to quiet and settle the mood. Subtle features such as grey eyes and jet black hair hint to a mixed heritage, but otherwise far too diluted to tell. He wears, on average, at least two or three layers of clothing. Gloves, a large coat and a leather fedora are the norm. A handsome, but ultimately forgettable looking man. And that's the way he likes it.

The Legacy

Personality:
Pitch is a liar, through and through. He acts the part, but lacks all sense of normal human empathy. Convincing to the letter, he's studied normal human interaction as if it were a master's course. He's graduated with top honors. A charming man to talk to and even more so when you have something to offer. However in his heart of hearts, Pitch only has room for Pitch. The rest of society could, for all he care, be but ants. One moment hugging puppies with a bright, sunny disposition. The next, cold and calculating. Pitch O'Dell is a sociopath of the highest order. And this has led to dark deeds.
History:
Pitch O'Dell was a curious child. Given up to an orphanage while very young, he moved from foster home to foster home. Adoptive parents never lingered long, stating there was something wrong with the child. Never laughing, never smiling. Always staring. Always learning wrong things. Finally Pitch ended up in the home of a progressive scientist who specialized in gene manipulation. The mother was thrilled and couldn't understand the warnings the orphanage gave her. Pitch at this point had mastered when and how other people expected him to alter his body language in certain ways. He was the happiest and smartest of children when around his new adoptive parents. He especially enjoyed watching his father work his experiments. He sneaked into his notes and would read them for hours on end when they went to bed.

One night, Pitch made his own batch of serum...

On a cold winter's day, the police were called to Pitch's home. There appeared to be a terrible accident. The foundation of his house had somehow collapsed in on itself, crushing his foster parents under its weight. Only Pitch was lucky enough to have been playing in the front yard when it happened. Reports say the foundation of the house had suffered extreme weather damage...almost as if it had rotted away at the seams. Even the concrete seemed to have turned to powder and sludge. Pitch inherited what was left of the family funds. He vanished soon after, moving from city to city making use of his new found abilities. His life is built upon the suffering of others.

The Powers

Power 1: High Superhuman Durability. The serum he mixed from his father's chemicals toughened his body to astronomical heights. Most forms of harm bounces off him like nothing.

Power 2: Entropic Touch. A terrifying side effect of the serum he created. Anything Pitch touches takes a nose dive into entropy. Ice dissolves into water. Water stagnates and can no longer support life. Wood rots. Metal rusts. Living tissue has the chance to fight this ability. When Pitch touches a living being, they experience an intense, brain jarring pain throughout their entire body. However if Pitch continues to hold on for a few seconds or more, the flesh grows weak and begins to atrophy. Any longer and the flesh begins to decay. This is not an ability Pitch can turn off. Every part of him exudes this unfortunate power.

Power 3: Borderline Superhuman Intellect. Pitch was born a prodigy. He's been known to tinker with this and that, creating items that helps him from day to day. For example, he makes his own clothing out of a series of nano-polymers that are resistant to his body's entropic touch. Only he knows how to make it.

Power 4: Prince of Lies. When taking any form of lie detection test, even some supernatural ones, Pitch can fake it. He has literally no physical reaction to telling lies. They flow like truth from his lips.

Entropy is an iffy power, so no flesh-rotting/death can occur from your power on people with durability of 7+

6 Durability users will feel pain, and perhaps their flesh will darken, but the effects only last for as long as skin to skin contact happened.

5 will likely suffer greater damage.

4 and below could die if touched for too long.

I'm going to allow this power, but only because you seem like a decent enough writer not to powergame the shit out of it.

So, be a good example, and don't let this come back and bite me in the ass.

If you can, as you've stated at the end of your App, that you can elaborate more on the power;

please do so.

Other than that, I'd say this could be approved.

Absolutely and thank you for working with me!

I'm completely fine with Durability users 7+ being immune to the decay aspect of the power. Would they still feel the pain though? I'd imagine any body would find it pretty disconcerting.

As a villain, one that probably isn't that suited to fighting epic duels to the death, Pitch is mostly going to use his power for subterfuge, stealth and escape. Breaking into places by rusting/rotting doors and walls to dust, crumbling pavement to escape into sewers, etc. He's smart enough to know he's not strong or fast enough to compete with some of the other heroes/villains out there, so he's going to do what any career criminal would do and use his powers to further his own ends financially while trying his best not to get into direct confrontations with "da man".

And yes, 7 DUR could feel pain; but it wouldn't be anything that they couldn't shake off after a few moments/1 post in RP.
