Resurrection [Invite only]

A report had come in. Within the borders of the nowadays damaged beyond recognition and somewhat disgraced metropolis known as New York City a mass amount of plant life was suddenly just springing forth from out of the ground at a rapid rate. It was obviously unusual and in need of investigation by specific people. When the news had came in and what was ongoing in the city the call was made to Dominus and Agent Ruptor was immediately tasked to deal with whatever it was causing all of it.

Pierre had been at one of their off bases going through some paperwork when he was informed. He was checking through case files looking for a specific individuals file since what it contained was important to him. Recent interactions with his fellow agents and the missions he had been on had caused him to fall a bit behind on his paperwork and in the process of catching up on all of it decided to look into something. After only about an hour of work he had gotten through all of it. Pierre was a very technical person and very well organized. Now he was being told to prepare to be sent off to New York City as quickly as possible. Within minutes he was boarding the jet so that he could be flown in. Pierre and some of the special agents were on the jet heading towards the city. On the way there they closely monitored the camera feeds that were displayed exactly what was happening. The plants were growing at truly an astounding rate. Someone or something was behind this. The plants were spread across a whole block's radius and were a sight to behold for anyone who might be laying eyes upon them.

As the plane drew closer the source of these mysterious plants revealed itself to the world. The cameras zoomed in to reveal a woman that was certainly familiar looking to the agents. It was Elise Montreal, or as she liked to be called, Anu. This woman was a manipulator of plant life and was convinced she was a goddess. The really strange thing is that she is supposed to be dead. Her body had in fact been taken in by the agents who had killed her for research purposes. So, what exactly was she doing here? How is this even possible? They must not have been thorough enough in their efforts. Pierre wound not do the same thing. He would ensure that this time this dangerous individual stayed dead. He would make sure of it.

The plane landed in the vicinity and the agents exited it prepared for this mission. Agent Ruptor immediately started giving out the orders to the special agents, assigning them all their specific duties and the tasks they would all soon perform. "You two, you're both on sniper duty. Take position in those two building and don't fire until you've got a shot lined up and on my orders. You two will be with me. We're taking the direct approach and taking her head on. She's known to be a formidable foe so be on your guard. The rest of you will split off into pairs and attack her from the other three directions after we've grabbed her attention. Use the flamethrowers and burn right through all the plants. If we do this right they this threat will be neutralized in no time flat. Now move out." He said to them all. Their individual tasks were now all assigned. They could begin.

Ruptor and the two special agents he had assigned to be with him moved in. The plant vines were still swinging all about at the people in the area that she was attacking for her sick pleasure. Ruptor and the other two quickly seized one of them and proceeded to destroy it. That would surely get her attention. They moved forward again and right to where the very edge of the forest was. They were armed and ready for whatever she may try to do.

Thistle, her attempt to dominate this speck of man-made crap was on going. She left the sight of her first attack, vicious plant life stalked her every move, her feet moved slowly and in time vines burst through the floor and slithered before her, and then penetrated downwards again, spreading their roots. Spores twisted from the vines bases, bright pink blooms containing toxic spores. What little human life that was around her hand already began to back off from the scene, and Thistle paused. She sensed a disturbance in the force (I said it.). Something was wrong. She looked to the side, trying to be sure she was sensing the nature being commanded by someone other than her. Who could do such a thing. It was... unacceptable, yet... pleasing.

She grunted, her hair weaved through the air behind her, before she clicked her fingers by her side and the ground beneath her began to crack. Suddenly she ascended on a large mass of nature, the vines slapping and rooting within the ground, before it began to walk towards this disturbance. Friend or foe, she did not know. She held her arms forward and commanded the heavily mutated plant to weave forth, tearing up the ground behind her, leaving nothing but a large hole and sprouting flowers.

When she reached the epicenter of the activity, she observed the sharpened vines lashing out at humans like a mad teenager, she could not help but part her lips in an echoing laughter at the just desserts. She flicked her hair to the side lusciously, some flower petals falling from between locks having gotten tangled there in an earlier scrap. Her ivy attire blew in the wind as well, and she extended her hand before her. Her large mount's body twisted and extended into some form of ramp, allowing her to graciously walk down. As soon as her toe touched the now plant riddled concrete, pink flowers began to bloom throughout it.

As she walked, the larger plants had already began to react to her presence as well, their stems mutating to be stronger, the pink, Thislytus riddled spore sacs sprouted along them, and Thistle began to approach the one who she could feel orchestrating this masterpiece. Her chin raised, ginger locks blowing in the wind, her arm extended forward and she pointed at her. She felt her body filled with mixtures of anger, happiness and relief.



Thistle's voice was echoing as usual. Her hair had grow wet from the rain hitting it, and she allowed it to fall down her back. Mother nature's shower, after all. It reached her waist, and water droplets ran down her body, the cold water caused her nipples to pucker. She smiled, and turned around to see a human about to escape. She flicked her wet hair to the side, spraying water from it's mass, drop's hitting the floor. She thrust her ivy wrapped hand forth, and the ground beneath him was impaled with almost razor like Briars, impaling him, rather brutally, into the air.

She failed to take notice of the dominus plague flooding in.

At the edge of the unnatural forest that spread across an entire block's radius within the middle of what was once New York City a battle had begun. Agent Ruptor and two of the special agents had arrived at the outside of this forest and begun their initial assault upon it in order to proceed forth with their plan. As part of the plan that Ruptor had come up with and ordered to the special agents he along with two others would take the initiative. He was essentially putting himself in danger in order to take down this threat. For now it mattered not how the one known as Anu returned. What mattered was that she be defeated and whatever plans she may have be put an immediate and permanent stop to, again.

As their initial attack began they were greeted by a strange surprise. Even more plants were coming in from behind them. The report from one of the snipers declared that there was a woman guiding them towards the forest that Anu had generated as part of her rebirth. "There's two women here with plant manipulating powers. That makes things more difficult. If they were to team up we would be outmatched. Call in to headquarters and report this in. The situation has become more of a nuisance then before. It doesn't help that somebody they think is dead is showing to be quite the exact opposite of that." he called back to the sniper. Ruptor then adjusted his orders a bit to correspond with the new events and a realization that came to him. His initial plan would be effective but did not guarantee victory without risk of casualties. He did not want to lose any of the special agents that had been assigned with him.

It seems Anu had finally become aware of their presence and efforts to stop her. She was not happy with it either. She shouted with rage at them for their actions. It was more of her speeches from back before they had originally killed her. As to be expected. Not even death had changed her ways of thinking. If she had even been dead to begin with. "Stand your guard men." he ordered to the other two as the very vine they had just sprung back up from the ground and struck at them. Ruptor pulled out his dual ended laser blade as both of the special agents fired at the vine and with precise timing sliced apart the vine and then started striking at the roots. "Start torching it." he shouted into his communicator and immediately the other special agents activated their flamethrowers and started burning through the forest from four different angles. Ruptor stood back to avoid being caught up in the flames being shot out by the two that were with him and stood ready for his next move.

Thistle's emerald eyes now ticked onto what was happening. Humans, mere Mortals had taken it upon themselves to destroy this beautiful place. How dare they...! It was all indifferent... the mere human she had impaled body had already began to grow feral. She could feel her disease slithering through his veins. Perfect.

Within seconds, this wounded man was driven by nothing but fury, savagery and adrenaline. Thistle allowed his body to continue spreading her virus through those that are still alive. She flicked her soaked hair to the side, before she narrowed her grassy green eyes. She could feel them burning. Hmph. Typical. With one fell movement she turned, flicking her arm behind her, her fingers clicking together almost silently. She began to walk, her click having called forth more of nature's chosen ones. Thorned, 2 feet thick roots explode from the floor holding onto several chunks of large concrete. Her arms found themselves folded, before she thrust her head forward, the plants mimicking the direction.

The large chunks were both hurled through the air towards the humans, baring these odd.... fire guns, and smashed from above in order to pummel several of them into a vulnerable state. While this happened, Thistle allowed her arms to rise into the air, and the plants around her began to grow more spore sacs, reacting to the situation. Highly... temperature reactant.

She smirked at her own little booby trap, she suddenly grew far less 'concerned' about the fire wielding ones, they'd soon face their fate. Ha. She glanced to the side, noticing that several of the now feral citizens had began sprinting towards the figures of [[Forcie's character's name.]] and his men. Her hands slithered to her hips, and she couldn't help but laughed, as he skin absorbed the cold rain water.

Two of these plant manipulators being at one location at the exact same time may be more than what Agent Ruptor and his special task force were capable of handling. At least not without high risk of casualties. They were now under attack from both of them and being forced back by the constant and continuous strikes of vines and tendrils issuing out from all these plants. Burning through them all was not proving effective enough. It was definitively clear that a new plan for dealing with the present threat would have to be issued. Ruptor had an idea for one that was very clever but first he would have to ensure the safety of his team.

It was truly a shame that they might be the only ones whose safety he could ensure. The resident civilians of this fallen city who had spent so much time and put forth so much effort into rebuilding it were now reduced to being forced to help out the newcomer. How disgusting it was whatever she was doing to them that made them this way. These people did not deserve such treatment by this foul one. They had been turned into savage beasts. Pierre would make sure justice was served. It would just have to wait. "Fallback. Await further orders." he called in to the other agents. "It's time to take them both out. Open fire on both of them." He stated to the two special agents with him as they were under attack from the vines. Ruptor pulled out a few smoke grenades and tossed them into the midst of all the plants to create a massive fog to cover them for his next move. The gasmasks were keeping them safe from all the excess smoke. He then pulled out his assault rifle and took aim as he unleashed his meta power. A blast of telekinetic power fired forth through the smoke clouds that was directed at Anu. He then fired an explosive round directly at her as well. "Now" he quietly spoke into his headset as he fired. A few more shots echoed with his. Then a bunch more started firing. A massive military like assault was under way and being launched at both of these plant users. This included one of the snipers who aimed their shot right at Thistle's head.

Thistle was growing tired... Impatient. These idiotic mortals could not tell when they were beat. They scurried like worms in the soil, but they pressed on like cockroaches. Ugh, the worst kind of humans, The resilient kind. She flicked her luscious ginger locks in the wind, and a smirk once more sprouted on her face. Her grassy eyes continued to scan the streets and she watched as the mortals under her spell, charged towards the opposing forces.

This shall be a as easy as crushing a woodlouse. Ha. She turned, and thrust her hand upwards causing mother earth's fury to increase. Several plants around her rose upward, and the spores began to twist, bubble and burst. The green fog like spores continued to swirl from them for a good few seconds before they withered. The thick gas hung at their feet, and slowly began to diffuse into the air. She let out a coarse cackle, her rose red lips continued to smile. This is their end!

Thistle could feel victory blossoming into her grasp, her hair began to cling to her arms and shoulders, the rain lashing around them was a refreshing drink. She flicked her hair once more sending the water flinging from her some what tangled locks, She swiveled on the spot, before her eyes widened a little. It 'twas but a second. The heavy thick gas was trailed in a twirl by the speeding projectile. It left a disgusting green trail and the bullet hit her, right between the eyes. Her body was sent soaring into the air from the momentum of the bullet, her hair was sent swiveling through the air, a green liquid dropped through the air from the cavity dug into her skull.

Her body impacted the floor with considerable force, some water rose from her body smacking into a puddle, her hair spread out behind her like a web. She lay there, perfectly still. Her green eyes remained open, and some green liquid drizzled down her face and was diluted by the rain water. Her fingers slowly curled together before life slipped from her body, and around her body some blossom's began to release their petals into the rain filled wind...

Agent Ruptor had ordered a strategic offensive assault on both of the plant manipulators due to the plan of burning straight through the plants not working out so well because of the pouring rain. Fire and water just don't mix very well. It was probably a bad idea of his to even try that idea in the first place. If the rain had been falling a little bit lighter though it still would have worked. Still, he was forced to switch the course of action to be taken against these foes. Bullet upon bullet rained down upon them both. Not all of which were regular ones either. The one known as Anu really got the raw part of the assault. It was a torrential downpour that struck upon her. Her massive forest was wreaked havoc upon. Ruptor's own shot hit her dead on and knocked her back. As this occurred another shot was fired from one of the snipers that struck the other one right in the head.

Ruptor and the other two agents stood there looking upon what they had just done. A rather successful attack. Proven to be true with the transmission that came in from the sniper who had shot Thistle right in the head. "Sir, the unidentified one has been taken down. Direct hit to the head. Anu is also down but not out. She's already getting back up but it seems she's been hurt. Awaiting orders to fire." The transmission ended with a pause. Ruptor was relieved that they had managed to have some success. Now things were looking in their favor in their quest to defeat their initial target. He sent a message to both of the snipers as they took aim at Anu, they were ready to unleash another killing blow. "Our past research indicates that this one has shown to be very resilient. Conventional weaponry does little damage to her. If you can spot a clear would then that shall be your target. Otherwise your shots will do little more than pester her a bit more. Don't waste any bullets on unnecessary actions. Keep me informed of her movements from your positions." he emphatically informed the two of them. They responded just as they should and now Ruptor could prepare his next move.

From the upper floors of the building he was informed of ahead of time that Anu was up again and taking action in response to having been shot. The forest stirred then went into a frenzy. She was showing just how displeased she was with their onslaught against. This battle's intensity had just shot through the roof. "We have to get those flamethrowers into action somehow. Take cover under something then unleash them." he called into the communicator. The other agents fell back in search of such places to execute these orders. Ruptor aimed his rifle at her once again as vines came towards him. He created a barrier of telekinetic power to attempt to hold back the vines as he opened fire upon her once again. The barrier failed to hold up against her vicious assault but it did buy him time to pull the trigger. As soon as he fired he signaled to the two agents with him to fall back out of the reach of the vines.

Once again Anu came at them furious at their attempts to force her to cease this attack and defeat her again. Ruptor and his agents were ready to fight. They had to be, it was what they were tasked to do. Her entire forest was thrashing about like a rabid animal. The full extent of her power was now on display and the people around were being targeted to exemplify her true capabilities. They had to act immediately before this got any worse. They knew her power was great and therefore could not afford to take her lightly. His shot connected once again. It hit her square in her left shoulder and left a gaping wound. He did not even need to hear from the snipers about this significant damage done to her. Ruptor then signaled for all of them to aim at the shoulder wound and fire upon it in order to do even more damage to her and finish her off here and now before those plants got any more out of control. They aimed at her shoulder as he movements became as erratic as the plants she controlled.

Erratic did not do justice for Ruptor to describe the movements she was making. Her body convulsed in a disgusting way. What an awful sight to behold. It was not normal for a reaction to a bullet wound. Something strange was going on. "Open fire." he shouted at the two with him and into the communicator. The slew of shots rang through the rainy day as Ruptor took aim himself. He witnessed through the rifle's scope her body suddenly altering its initial form. "Hold your fire." he ordered to them as he witnessed their firepower doing her no harm. This major change to her physical structure continued. She soon became a massive reptilian creature of the forest. Her appearance had become terrifying and the great size increased the threat level. "Get out of the buildings now. I fear she's about to bring them down. Fall back now. I have an idea but for now get to safety." he called out and started to withdraw strategically.

Despite a deadly torrential assault that caused a good deal of damage to be inflicted to her the one known as Anu merely responded by showing off a new trick she had learned in her time spent being 'dead'. What was once a woman was now a reptilian behemoth like something out of tales of the old days. The beast stood there looking down upon them, and then it was not there. It quickly dug its way underground. "It's gone underground. Listen for movement. We may be able to hit it just as it comes out again. I doubt it's retreating." he shouted out to the others. The situation had just gotten more perilous. Ruptor had not expected Anu to turn into a monster such as that. Feeling that things were slowly taking a turn for the worse he radioed in to headquarters to report in on the situation.

As the signal was being sent the beast seemed to be reemerging. The building to his right where one of the snipers had been located in was rattling. It was clear that this was where the creature chose to strike. "Agent, are you there? It's attacking the building you're in." Ruptor called for the agent to respond. The response came quickly. The operative was in distress and made it clear with the sound of his voice. "Sir, the building's collapsing. I'm gonna have to jump if I---aaah" the signal was lost. Ruptor tried to reestablish communication but to no avail. The agent had been crushed by the falling debris caused by the creature's attack upon the structure.
