Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Personality: Above all else, Amon thinks himself an sophisticated gentleman, and as such usually talks in a soft, smooth tone, almost never raising his voice unless he’s absolutely outraged. At the same time, he demands respect from all who works under him and always expect nothing short but success in their assignments – exigent don’t even begin to describe this trait. Perfection is something he deeply desires, no matter its manifestation. He knows his limitations and seeks to improve, ascend himself over not only his own physical body but also the pact he made with the demon Azrael. To this means, he can only aim at being the best of the best, no matter what it takes. An efficient mastermind and a ruthless individual, that’s Amon. History: Once upon a time, there was a dying man. This man, now a pathetic excuse for a human being, used to be someone pretty important in his community. Rich, powerful, he had everything he wanted, but had the ill luck of never, ever, achieving something that made him truly happy. For he desired the top, and nothing short of perfection could satisfy him. Because of that his power, his wealth, his loving family, nothing truly mattered to him, and in the end he pushed it all away. Without the power to achieve his desires, he was left to wither away as a sickly, lonely and pathetic man. As you guessed, this man was Nero Anarchy, who once had it all, but never truly appreciated it. Until one day, that is, when he received a special visit. His despair, his regret and his fury over dying without ever being happy even once attracted something from the deepest corner of the earth, and that thing came with a deal. It could make him powerful, it could grant him everything he desired, and the only thing it wanted in exchange was something that the stupid man thought he didn’t have in the first place: his soul. Poor Nero, in his despair, never once thought about the possibility of being double crossed. That the creature could be lying, deceiving him. But the pact marked his destiny, now nothing more than a pawn for the entity calling itself Azrael. Under him, Nero’s body was altered and imbued with powerful magic, his mind forced to obey his every command. By his command, the poor man faced hordes of so called heroes to defend his master and killed many people to uphold the entity’s unknown agenda. Never questioning, never truly conscious, but also never feeling pain or sadness. In a way, it was what he wanted. This changed, however, when Azrael’s defeat came, at some point in time, when Nero was already far away from him. Not understanding what happened, the poor man could only feel his master being banished back to whatever hole he came from, and that feeling came with a unexpected clarity. Yes, his master’s defeat also gave Nero his mind and sanity back, but together with the knowledge of everything he did under the creature’s command. Not that, at this point, he cared. No, what mattered to him is that his body, even with Azrael’s defeat, kept altered. He still had his powers, but now with his mind, and he knew what would happen if the entity got free. So, in order to extend his freedom the best he could, to the sole objective of double crossing the very thing that did the same to him, he started to work. Soon he discovered that his powers could be used to grant him no small amount of wealth, fame, and best of it all, manpower. He only needed to be careful as to not attract unwanted attention and to prolong his lifespan. Eventually, with the advent of modern society, he would end up as the owner of not only a rising business legacy based at Los Angeles but also of one particularly rebellious hitman. Now calling himself Amon, he started to expand his unholy influence in the land as well, creeping himself in every kind of socialization, from organized crime to charity. In his mind, it would only be a matter of time to find the means to secure his hold in the city and, who knows, the world. But what about his master’s return? At the very least, he still hasn’t forgotten to search for the means to keep him sealed… yet. |
The Powers |
Basic Spells Suggestion: A spell that allows Amon to talk to the target’s subconscious, sending suggestive commands over and over. Since it’s directed to the subconscious, the target will usually believe that the commands are merely lingering, random thoughts. When the same order gets repeated for an enough amount of time, however, it might change from a random thought to an increasing urge. [Duration of one turn] Basic Alchemy: A basic knowledge of alchemy, which with Amon can change small objects structure over time, as long as it’s not made of flesh and body. Basically, he can turn lead into gold, rust metal, change water to wine, and so on as long as it’s a small display of power. [Duration of one turn] Low Spells The Pact: A spell common to demonfolk that was passed down to Amon through his connection with the demon Azrael, the Pact summons a literal scroll with a burst of fire. Before it can be summoned, however, both Amon and the others targets of the spell must come with terms of service and payment – usually, despite his former master tendency of charging souls, Amon offers services in exchange of loyalty or favors. With all set, the scroll is summoned and the targets sign their names with their own blood in it, sealing the deal. When it’s finished, both Amon and the target(s) are assaulted by the deep urge of upholding their part of the bargain, with almost no exception. [Duration of one turn] Demonic Possession: More of a ritual than a spell, it’s the famed ability of demons to possess humans and animals to manifest themselves in the physical plane. In Amon’s case, however, it takes some time for him to finish the incantation, but it allows him to literally leave his body and invade another to take as his own. As such, it only works against those who possess willpower far below Amon’s own, like animals or mentally broken individuals. Once taken hold of a body, however, Amon slowly passes down all traits of his original body in it, eventually becoming identical to it both in looks and powers. The possession, however, cannot grant Amon the special powers of his victims (if she possesses any) after fully merging with the body – he can, however, use them during the “adjustment” period, although it’s important to note that during this phase he cannot use his own powers either. [Duration of one turn] Medium Spells Thunder Pillar: A powerful spell and the most used one at Amon’s repertoire, it creates a magic circle in any place that the former human desires, usually many of them at the same time. From the circle, emerges a very powerful blast of lightning, traveling in a straight line until any object, after which it’ll dissolve, dealing damage in the process. As the name implies, the bolt of lightning appears similar to a column of “pure energy”, but it’s indeed electricity. [Duration of one turn] [b]Words of Power: A stronger version of the Suggestion spell, mostly because it no longer affects the subconscious, but it forces the victim to “listen” to Amon’s words. By very specific worded commands, normally hidden in a speech (but that can also be very direct), Amon’s will is forced upon the target, making him obey. The spells duration usually mirrors the command given, but it also means that the specific order can only be given again after its new cooldown. [Duration ranging from one to five turns, depending of the use] High Spells Burning Tornado: Amon’s most destructive magic, used only to, as he puts it, unleash hell upon his foes. It summons a literal tornado made of fire that not only is incredibly hot but it also pushes objects and persons thanks to sheer force if the wind forming the spell. Amon is, of course, protected against the destructive power of the spell and is, more often than not, encountered inside of it. [Duration of three turns] Chains of Azrael: Amon’s “ultimate” spell, although is not destructive as the Burning Tornado, but it’s effect is horrifying nonetheless. After chanting the incantation, five pitch-black magic circles appear randomly at Amon’s surrounding, each one of them donning the name Azrael in demon language. From them, a homungously long chain dashes toward the victim, ensnaring the target’s members and neck. Right afterwards, demonic energies start being channeled from the magic circles into the victim, assaulting their very soul. Slowly and agonizingly, the energies creepy itself over the target’s body, warping his very body and soul, changing it into a similar being as Amon and suppressing his will. It takes a long time for the change to complete, but the spell compensates by the chains being incredibly resistant. When halted, even in the final stages of the transformation, the freed victim instantly reverts back to his normal self. [Duration of five turns] Powers Visage of the Devil: Amon’s greatest ability, when magical prowess simply is not enough to deal with the current problem and a more, let’s say, physical approach would befit the situation better. That, or when he’s enraged to such a extent that cunning and strategy simply falls out of the window. Either way, this power allows him to change into his War Form, a hulking abomination whose battle prowess is only matched by the amount of destruction it can cause to his surroundings. It should be noted, however, that Amon does maintain his intellect and sanity, this form being more like a reflex of the current state of his soul. Wind Walking: A favorite one of Amon, he possesses the power to levitate over the floor, but in a peculiar way: for him, both floor and air is one and the same. Amon can literally walk, run, sit, lay down, etc, in the air as casually as he does so in the floor. It’s not uncommon, in fact, to see him sit above his enemies as he was in a throne.
