Business: Clement Technologies
Founded: February 18th 1930
Location: Numerous holdings stretching the Globe
Appearance: Clement Technologies London Compound. A model of what Clement Tech Skyscrapers aim to be. Can range wildly however, with some buildings dating back to the early 1940s.
History: Ignatius Clement had carefully built a vast fortune from his patents and work with the US government for some forty years and remained largely unsurprised or unaffected by the stock market crash of 1929. From the ashes of most of the western world's wealth, Clement acquired numerous private Factories and Foundries. During the ramping up towards World War II his small collection of manufacturers proved to be worth more then gold and he supplied the US government numerous technologies which further consolidated his wealth.
From that point onward Clement Tech went from strength to strength and Ignatius Clement lead most of the Scientific and Engineering fields of the world until his departure during the late 1950s. Even with the driving force of its R&D gone, Clement Technologies profited largely from the Space Race and modern computing which budded from it. A titan of nearly any Industrialised Country with many subsidiaries, it was once said by a leading US official; "At least a single component of every gadget you own was built by Ignatius Clement."
