Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
Garganoth stood pensively in the park under a large palm tree on the beach. It was taking a break from the library today. Nearby, it could hear children grinding their wheeled wooden boards along the stone structure called the Venice Skate Park. A group of the adolescents whooped as one of them soared in the air doing a full front flip. It watched the families enjoying the sun as long as they could before they had to return to their busy lives. A small child was building a structure out of the wet sand he had collected in a bucket. As the child added detail, it became more and more like a tiny castle.
Garganoth had never known peace. It wanted to save these people from having to live it's life. It wanted them to be able to continue to enjoy a day at the beach, not because of the victory won to conquer it's shores, but to soak in the sun with friends and family.
Garganoth slowly roused itself from it's reverie. It took another look around itself and decided to go out and feel the water around it's feet. This planet wasn't home, but Garganoth loved it after being here for only a week.

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
Ah the sun! What a glorious star indeed! It's distance from this planet making at one of the most effective beacons in the galaxy. It was this beacon that brought the Humans out from their homes and into the streets, to indulge in the hearty rays of sunshine. It was also the reason for The Womb's departure from The Shack. The Womb had noticed that the Babylon he now inhabited looked intensely more beautiful when lit by the sunshine. And so he had taken to strolling when the sun was at its peak.
His course took him towards the beach. He would often find himself hypnotized by the seas waves, sometimes he even wished to go relive his self imposed exile at the very base of the ocean floor. As he drew closer to the sands he noticed his friend and fellow Legionnaire Garganoth making his way towards the sea. It seems friend Garganoth has decided that viewing the world is more important than reading about it. A wise decision indeed.
With a proverbial smile Womb hopped over the barricade wall and landed on the sand yonder. He the began his frantic race towards Garganoth, waving as he went. "GARGANOTH! HO FRIEND! IT IS I THE WOMB!"

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
Garganoth looked around at the sound of It's name being called. It quickly found the source of the call as the user of It's name was quite unique in appearance. Garganoth returned the wave to The Womb and followed with the greeting of looking to the sky, "Hail Womb. I am glad to see you indeed. I have taken a break from your house of knowledge and decided to spend a day resting. I was drawn here by the happiness everyone felt and decided to stay for awhile." Garganoth looked back and pointed toward the skate park, "Did you known that some of your human children have put wheels on a board to make a primitive transportation and have learned to use it for limited flight capabilities? The children here are also practicing their ability to create fortifications using the wet sand. One of the older children is also nice enough to verify the strengths and weaknesses of the fortifications by emulating a large object colliding with it. The younger ones don't take failure well though and cry when it doesn't withstand the blow. Another human also paid me the greatest compliment. It called me rocks-for-brains. It also said a couple other things but I couldn't here it over one of your public transportation vehicles, or buses, blaring it's horn because I had accidentally stepped in it's way." Garganoth was excited about all he was founding about this planet.
"What are you up to today my friend?' Garganoth inquired of Womb.

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
"Well Garaganoth you have been busy. Ahh, yes, I have seen these wheeled boards before. The Humans ride them along the roads here, peculiar, yet ingenious I must say. As for my plans this day I have none. I simply wished to bask in the sunlight a while and lose myself in thought. What say you about taking a dip in the sea? I wish to feel it's cool resolve upon my skin." Womb waited patiently for an answer, his adventurous and playful mood mirrored in his jovial tone and swagger.

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
Garganoth thought about it, and realized it had been quite busy for this to be his resting day. That was how it liked it though. It had never had time for rest as there had always been the battles, the war,
the strategizing. Never peace. It passed as much of a smile as possible for it's anotomy and replied a confirmation. Garganoth had never spent time in a vicous liquid like this that was meant to harm.
It could feel the cleansing feeling all over as it waded into deeper and deeper as it went further and further. Suddenly, it fell straight down as it hit a dip in the beach falling to where the water was above it's head. This was such a strange experience.
Garganoth could feel the sand beneath it's feet and could see some organisms native to this wet enviroment panicing and going in every direction. They were the fish it had read about just the other day.
There were blues and yellows and greens. There were big ones and small ones. Upon looking down, Garganoth saw a scuttling crab cross his path, snapping it's pincers threateningly. Garganoth stepped aside and saw that it had almost crushed the crab in it's previous resting place. The scenery was beautiful, the way that the sun's rays hit the water and refracted into the depths. Everything above the water level
took on a wavy quality, though everything below was quite clear. Garganoth looked back, waiting for Womb to join him in this most interesting incursion.

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
Womb watched as Garagnoth went straight into the water. Taking his path of discovery head on. Feeling spurred on by such a positive outlook Womb wasted no time in removing his clothes. Noting that his clothes may be stolen as he waded in the ocean with his friend he decided to find something to cover them with, an anchor of sorts. His search didn't take long, he grabbed a huge boulder meant for the sea defenses and lifted it above his head. Carrying it on shaky legs, The Womb dropped the boulder on top of his folded clothes. There, now to play in the waves
Turning towards the sea, Womb strode confidently into the waves. By now both Womb and Garganoths leisure time had drawn a crowd. Most not really believing what they were witnessing.
Soon The Womb was beneath the surface of the water. It took him a moment to spot his comrade as he had waded further out. Once he had found him however, he made his way over. As he walked, his movements hindered by the mass of liquid, he gazed at the dappled sunlight that refracted through water like a prism. The beauty of it giving The Womb some peace. A calming of the soul if you will. Soon enough, The Womb found himself astride his comrade looking at a school of fish as they swam hither and tither. How marvelous, the beauty of the deep is often forgotten by the rulers of the land.

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
Garganoth ventured further out, oblivious to the crowd behind. It pointed out a peculiar looking fish that had the most beautiful coloring he had ever seen and started to say something, but only bubbles came out of it's mouth. The peculiar tasting water filled his insides as the stored air escaped. Garganoth let the puzzled expression on his face linger momentarily, but then it noticed the boats floating on the top of the water. So peculiar, it let the amazement that those devices could float whereas it simply sank to the bottom. Garganoth gestured to Womb to follow it as it had noticed an extremely deep drop-off a ways down that he wanted to look over.

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
The Womb felt a simply joy while watching his friend discover these new experiences. Although he had prior knowledge to much of it, to see someone experiencing it anew radiated a sense of adventure that The Womb felt drawn to, even exited by. Garganoth had signaled him forwards, pointing towards a deeper, darker drop off point in the ocean. Ah, he wishes to see the very depths. A brave one indeed. Stepping forwards Womb followed his comrade deeper into the waters.

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
Garganoth led the way forward seeing everything for the truly amazing things that they were. The natives of this planets treated Garganoth as though it were a strange oddity that needed to be inspected to be believed, but here were so many other surprises, so many more astounding things. There were animals of all sorts, flat ones, round ones, swimming ones, crawling ones, big ones, small ones. The more Garganoth looked around, the more determined it was to make a difference.
As Garganoth trekked onward, it noticed the ground beneath his feet became less grainy and more solid. The fish became larger, and boats less numerous. The light became more filtered and darker, the weight of the water pressed down harder. Finally, Garganoth reached the drop-off over looking the true ocean. It was... Garganoth fluttered about in his mind for a word that matched this scene... Overwhelming. The vastness of the world beneath the waves, the creatures in it's depths, the formations of landscape. In all of this, Garganoth had to find something to focus on in particular or it could spend half it's lifetime just enjoying this plane. In doing so, It saw a ship that looks as though it had sunk ages ago on the ocean floor. Garganoth at itself and Womb and then pointed down to it as though asking if they should explore it.

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
So far it seemed Garganoth had little trouble walking through the ocean, while Womb on the other hand was finding it increasingly more difficult to keep up as they traversed deeper. It was no matter, they were in no rush for anything, and the scenery about them was breathtaking. Garganoth seemed to have found something. He signalled for Womb to draw closer, as he did he then signaled towards a sunken ship. Womb's curiosity was at its pique now and with a glint of excitement turned is head toward Garganoth and nodded. Without waiting for Garganoth to follow Womb kicked off from the ground and began to swim slowly fro the bank towards their goal. He wished not to loose his frined and so kept his pace steady with that of the stone creature below him.

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
Garganoth saw Womb go over the side of the drop off and begin swimming like the fishes. Watching for a moment, it thought it had the movements down enough to imitate. Garganoth pushed off the side of the underwater cliff and began pushing water back with it's arms. Quickly though, it sank just like a rock. When Garganoth hit the ocean floor, the water began pressing down on it much more forcefully. Garganoth took a moment to readjust to the new pressure and began across the sea floor to keep up with Womb. Down here it was much darker and even a little spooky. Garganoth couldn't help but wish it had a light source to continue the exploration.
When Garganoth reached the ship, it looked in detail at the sunken transportation device. Garganoth quickly found the break in the bottom. Garganoth puzzled on this for a moment, coming eventually to the conclusion that the reason the boats floated, whereas Garganoth sank was because of the large rounded bottom. With the break, the craft could no longer float.
On the craft, Garganoth saw many animals stuck to the sides, some rounded and smooth, some with spines everywhere. There were also fish swimming in and out of the many openings that the subsided craft had left available in resting on it's side. Garganoth couldn't help but wonder which of these beings could have caused the hole.

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
Garganoth had reached the ship fairly quickly. Womb watched for a moment as he began inspecting the craft's breach. It seemed to The Womb that Garganoth was trying to determine the reason for the ships dilapidated state. It was likely a storm or a misguided voyage into a coral reef that had destroyed the vessel. After a moment or two Womb began to swim down and soon enough found himself near the deck of the ship. He swam about looking into the broken windows, only to see dark, void like rooms filled with algae and decomposing sea creatures.
Looking towards the surface The Womb could make out large shadows above them, possibly larger sea creatures. Possibly boats. The Womb was not sure, however he did not feel unease at their presence and simply carried on his investigation of the fallen ship.

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
Garganoth had finished inspecting the craft, and learned what it had sought after. Looking up it saw Womb's attention slide up the the large shadows above. Garganoth loved the beauty of this place, the serenity of the depths. It had spent enough time here for now though. Catching Womb's attention, Garganoth pointed back toward the shore they had left behind, trying to tell him they could head back. It began the walk back, only to approach the cliff it had easily jumped off. Now though, as there were no steps, Garganoth would have to climb
back up the steep wall.
At first, Garganoth tried grabbing the jutting rocks, but it's hands were much too large for this. After a few vain attempts, It decided a different tactic would be needed. Making a fist, Garganoth punched it's hand into the wall above it's head, pulling itself up, it did the same thing again, and again, and again. Finally Garganoth started making real progress up the wall.

Re: Garganoth's day out (open to up to 3 others)
Garganoth made the rest of it's way out of the salty water and spend a minute getting the liquid out of it's system. After that, Garganoth turned back for one last look at the site of Womb and it's exploration.
To Womb, Garganoth said, "I won't ruin this happy day with sad words. I enjoyed having a peaceful day, one that involved no violence or trying to figure out how to perform better violence. I truly do see this planet as capable of providing me with a second home. I thank you for welcoming me and giving me somewhere to go and some way to fulfill my destiny. I have but one last thing to ask of you." Garganoth drew close to Womb so it wouldn't be overheard, "I trust you completely. I need to tell someone about this as it weighs heavily upon my chest. Smaelyn the Intelligent created the disintegrator ray. My own creator destroyed my home I loved so much. I also wish you to know that I destroyed it. My creator, whom I owe my very life to and swore to help with every facet of my being, was ripped to shreds by my own hand. I did this because Smaelyn the Intelligent betrayed me, our people, our very planet."
Garganoth took a few steps away from the water, back towards the bustling city. "When it is my time to strike the iron of your world's people's hearts, let me know and I will bring a blow as no hammer has done before," Garganoth said, walking slowly towards home. The building may merely be a shack, but it was home nonetheless.
