Okay if I did my math right I have about 17 EXP to spend. So I can buy a speed point and have about 7 EXP left?

So long as you did not kill the topic you can collect exp from it. Meaning if it was your post when it died then you can't collect. As for the bad art topic you can't count it since nobody posted there.
