Washed up a has been (Done)

The current had taken him. He had let it drag him from the shore and guide him as he dwindled in a self inflicted comatose. How long has it been now? He couldn't remember. How long have I been drifting in this ocean?

As the thoughts sifted through his mind he collided with a beachhead.

He lay there in the sand for some time. Face down, feeling the waves wash over him and retreat backwards. Repeating the notion over and over. He was on land now. He felt confused, weary. Even scared a little. He feared what he would see if he lifted his head to gaze. Would there be people? To a Human passing by they would see a naked body with a head devoid of any kind of human flesh. A grizzly image for the weak of heart.

He knew however that he must rise. He placed both his palms upon the sand and pushed himself to his feet. He looked about him, slowly the waves still lapping round his ankles.

It was night. The beach was deserted. Further along he could lights from a city, though he knew not which city it was. He could hear hollering and beeping. Cars passing. He strode further on, reaching a pathway that was close to some tall branchless trees.

He stepped over a wall and popped himself down on the other side. Still naked, he stepped out of the shadows and into the florescent lights. His presence was immediately met with a blood curdling scream. "OHMYGODLOOKATTHATFREAKHE'SNAKED!"

"PUT SOME CLOTHES ON JERK!"

"HALLOWEEN WAS LAST MONTH!"

Womb simply stared back at the horrified faces as they passed. It seemed here, like in most built up places on Earth the night did not mean rest. In fact, it often brought out a certain type of Human being. One The Womb did not care for very much. An inebriated youth with his friends stared at him as they walked by. He stopped his friends to gawk at Womb. "Hey, hey, get a loada this guy! What the fuck do you think you're doing?"

The Womb turned his head to the youth. "I am simply watching you. What, are you doing?"

The youth suddenly turned belligerent, his friends followed suit, closing in on Womb. "What, you getting cocky asshole? You wanna go freak? I'll fuck you up!" A general sound of agreement went around the youths, four in all.

Suddenly a punch was thrown at Wombs head and instantly nothing happened. "OWWW" One of the youths clutched at their hand. The Womb was much tougher than the average Human and the strike had not hurt him. The strike had in fact broken the youths hand. "You son of a bit-" As the youth began his retort, The Womb snapped.

Patience was still something Womb was toiling with.

He gripped the youth by the throat and lifted him into the air choking him. The friends around him began punching, kicking and trying to restrain Womb however their efforts were in vain. "Do not anger me child! I am The WOMB! I gave you LIFE! Do not force me to place you into the arms of Death!"

As Womb had one of the youth in his hand, a masked man walked up behind him. He was around 5'9" with a yellow muscle shirt and black tights.

He had radioactive symbols all over his suit.
"Hey I saw these punks coming towards you and I figured you could use a little help."
In the meanwhile the youth was ending up on the verge of passing out or worse. One of the other youths attempted to punch womb to throw him off balance. As he went for a punch an arm grabbed him. The masked had moved but now two of them stood there. One of them holding back one of the youths.

One by one more copies began to appear until about 10 copies were there. "So," they all said in unison, "the name's splitshot."

As he held the human aloft. A figure approached him. He spoke to him, he told him he had noticed these youths approaching and had detected their malicious intent. He had taken it upon himself to help Womb. How peculiar. This man, dressed in elaborate costume offers me his help. I do not require it, these humans can not harm me. However the gesture will be well received.

He dropped the human he was holding and he collapsed on the floor possibly unconscious from the choking. Suddenly ten men appeared each with the countenance of the first masked man to approach him. He restrained all the youths. This man is not human! Could there be another Womb!? Another being from the cosmos?

After a time they ran. Scared of the two inhuman entities. The masked man introduced himself as Split Shot.

"Greetings. I am The Womb. Your powers are impressive. I must ask you a question for it is screaming itself around the corners of my mind. Are you too another Womb? How long have you lived for? Do you know why we exist? I have been searching for our kind for an eternity. I must know why I was sent here!"

"Well," split shot said "Im not a-what did you say- wound- womb was it?" As he was talking he was walking forward his copies were disapperaing until the last one disappeared as he shivered.

Inside of his mind an epic duel was occuring. In the blackness of his mind he stood there motionless as another man appeared. He was dressed te same except the bright yellows were replaced with dark crimsons. Not one word was exchanged as te two traded blows. Soon the red one noticed a hole of light in the back. "No," he screamed "my portal is closing, youll not escape this time around." He went for the hole but he was stopped by a forming wall. Without a word the yellow one flew back through the portal. This entire mental war was physically manifested as a mere shiver.

"Split shot stepped forward towards the womb,"no my powers come from an...unnatural source". As he said this he put his hand on his pulse and felt the omnipresent ting of nanobots hitting the sides of his veins.

"But, I can help you. There's a safe place nearby, a sort of mutant shelter. Im on my way to help young ones train their powers. It get kinda cold put here. You want to come with me?"

"No. The Womb walks alone in his journeys. You are not what I seek. I seek a kindred spirit, only then shall I have true company." The Womb looked into the man's eyes for a moment. Humanity has changed much during my absence

Turning abruptly Womb strode off.

"Suddenly a copy of the man stood in his path. "Dude, you can't walk down the streets naked. ". The copy continued to follow him as the womb continued to turn him away. Suddenly he felt someone else in his mind.
"Callie, is that you, alright im on the way."

"Look man, I got to go, someone bad is happening at the shelter but I could use your help, there are little kids tere!"

The Womb retorted Split Shot's remark on his nakedness "I shall do as I wish Human. I am as I desire to be. And it shall remain so until I see fit for my visage to change." He walked past the copy blocking his path. As he did so Split Shot asked him for help. A certain situation, something worrisome had happened. However The Womb did not see or hear him communicate any information with anyone and doubted his alibi. He wishes to trap me! Luring me with tales of instant revelation. I am not so foolish young Split Shot, I shall not be deceived.

"Do not deceive me Split Shot, I know what it is you plot." With that he rushed forwards grabbing for Split Shot's arms. He looked to kick his opponent in the crook of the knee to sweep him from his feet so he could restrain Split Shot on the ground.

The womb lunged at split shot pinning him to the ground. "That was a mistake" one by one copies spread out from split shot as they circled The womb. "How can I prove to you im on your side?" Then he saw a gun, just a little pistol, probably left by ome of the youth. One of his copies got it and handed it to him. Split shot aimed at one of the copies and shot. Just as soon as he shot both he and the clone felt pain. A large bullet hole had opened in split shot andtissue by tissue, tendon by tendon, it began to heal. It was scarred ugly an grotesque but healed. One of the copies reached over and pulled off his mask and still pantimg he said "look at my eyes. Im asking not as split shot, but as Jacob kenners, please help me. Im not lying to you, that person I was talking to was my girlfriend cassie. She can talk to peoples minds but inly through a micro chip. I still have the scar on my head from where they put it in. The only other thing she can do is she designed the shelter to apoear normal until she lets you in. She's not at all powerful but she is the best fighter they have. You say you're looking for a kindred spirit, well she's mine. And if you dont help me I'll lose her. I know you dont know me, but please, these people attacking aren't some small threat. They call themselves geno/nazis. There only purpose is to kill mutants. Im begging you womb, these people need you, I just took a bullet and sure I healing but it still hurt like crap, I can tell you are much wiser that me, help me learn, I want to learn from you, but first I need your help." The copy put his mask back on and the copies formed back into one. "Please"

The Womb looked into the eyes of S[it Shot. He held fast for a few moments and then released the Hero from his restraint. He had shown a very odd way of proving his alignment. Harming himself. In turn he had revealed his greatest weakness to The Womb, a great show of submitting oneself to another. The Womb chose to believe him, his words on having a kindred spirit resonated with The Womb deeply.

"Forgive me, it has been a very substantial amount of time since I have conversed with another living thing. I will aid you. Where is it that we should go?"

He was startled, he rose a little shaky (wasn't everyday you got shot by yourself. "Alright, follow me."

The strange pair went along throughthe streets with really no conversation. Finally they reached a small wooden shack. "Is this it?"womb asked "patience" he replied. They walked in saw the tiny room "Callie, its me, let us in". Soon the back wall alid apart opening up a moderate sized house. The two ran to embrace, celebrating they were both still alive. "Callie, this is the womb. He's a friend and here to fight."

"Alright,"callie said " the soldiers on down on the third floor, good luck". Split shot took ome last look at her, she was about his age, 16, she was around 5'7". She had a slightly darkened skin color but still reletively light. A nice contrast with her pitch black hair. She was absolutely beautiful. No wonder womb wants a girl. He thought to himself.

"Alright womb, we should get going, the ladder awaits".

((OOC: If we have a fight does someone have to be the villains cause they are just footsoldiers. Or can you and I just beat them up?))

"I shall follow your lead Split Shot." Replied The Womb.

((OOC: alright, thanks for the heads up. I take since you said you will follow my lead I can direct both of us through the building. Also when we fight I take I can only controll me, cause I was thinking of having a moment when you pick a dude up and throw to me and I twist his head sideways.))

The terrible two began their descent, it was a roomy little place, cozy even if not for the immenent danger. At last they reached the bottom of the ladder. It was horrible, all the rooms usually filled with children, were deserted, allthe children were in the panic room. One of the foot soldiers appeared and shot splitshot untill his gun was empty in his bullet wound. "Big mistake, that wound was healed and scarred with nanobots, stronger than kelvar, nanobots. Now if you had shot me earlier that bullet would have killed me." He said duplicating as he walked torwards him. "A direct hit woiuld have killed me, but because i shot my copy which weakened me less, I was able to form a sort a shield. Now you die". With that he knocked the assailant out.

The Womb counted a few guards. They were only human. Split Shot Walked out first, taking a few bullets, yet they seemed to do nothing. Peculiar, when the man had shot at his clone it had visibly hurt not only the original but the rest of his clones also. Had he developed some sort of resilience to the gunfire?

The Womb didn't stop long to think about it. He followed Split Shots lead and began his assault on the guards.

He appeared, moving faster than the average man's reaction time could, behind one of the men. Lifting his arm like a club The Womb slew the guard in an instant. His superior strength and speed meant this battle would be over in minuets.

Again The Womb seemed to appear in front of another man. This time the guard shot off a few rounds into Womb's torso. Womb let out a low hiss, a gargle of sound so guttural you could hear the sounds of disdain in it. The Womb ignored the pain as the bullets entered his skin. He grabbed hold of the man who began to scream, trying to bat Womb away with the but of his gun. Womb ignored his efforts and proceeded to lift the man above his head, a show of strength to ignite the fires of fear in his comrades. As he held his foe aloft The Womb's wounds healed instantaneously.

Seeing an opening Womb threw the man across the room, in the direction of Split Shot himself!

The man flew the air and reached split shot. He threw a punch that cocked the man's skull sideways.
As the two continued fighting the soldiers split shot thought it would me time for an explanation.
"So I know this isn't a good time but a figure you should know all about my powers, I hae tiny little things called nanobots in my bloodstream. I use those to make my copies, so far I can only have 18 at a time. They give me slightly above average strength and feeling ability. When I shot my copy O knew the bullet was coming so I used nanobots to form a shield. I would have still lived but wiuldn't have this shielding" he said tapping his chest. "Anyway I should be healed in a couple of days, then ill be vulnerable again. Still am everywhere else. When one of my copies is hurt so am I." With all the enemies defeated he began reuniting " by the way, when I use a lot of clones and then reform, sometimes my dark side comes out. There will be a big shiver and my eyes will turn red. Anyway im fine this time, see blue eyes. Amyway what are your powers?"

During the battle The Womb's accomplice began explaining his abilities in great detail. Womb was confused as to why he needed to know, bu it was interesting all the same. As they downed the last of the guards The Womb to address his partners question. Before he could answer he hesitated, contemplating his reply.

"If you were to gauge me against a normal human being. I am stronger, faster and have a much more developed intelligence. The thing that makes me truly unique however is my ability to live. Nothing in this world can slay me. Not even time. I have lived for millions of your years. I have lived, for an eternity. And I will live for another."
