Take a Chance (Open to TheBeast, ask to join)

By the time the bar got close enough to reach James he had already slipped out of the window and began running into another building. In James mind he was sure that it would take that woman or whatever she was at least a good 5 seconds to realize what just happened and by the time she did James would be gone. As soon as James got inside the building a helicopter with a search light pointed at the store where the woman was. Aparently James had set off a silent alarm. "Come out with your hands up." the helicopter boomed with it's light pointed at the store. James almost turned around but decided that it would be better that she went to jail then him having to break a helicopter and let himself go on the most wanted list. Sorry sweetheart but I guess you will have to deal with the police alone. James thought as he headed through the building towards another all-you-can-eat-buffet.

Sara sighed as she watched Smart-Aleck leap out the window and hit the ground running. A half-second later, she heard the a helicopter above her and and a voice boom, "Come out with your hands up!" She snorted and said under her breath, "Yeah, right. Like I haven't heard that a bazillion times." And she jumped out the window and ran so fast in the direction Smart-Aleck had gone that the men surrounding the building and the helicopter above didn't even see her. Following the sound of Smart-Aleck's loud breathing, she followed him to an... all-you-can-eat buffet? Really? I give him a perfectly good, healthy granola bar, and he leaves me to be arrested and goes to a buffet? How rude. She stood in a shadowy corner and watched him sit down at a table. Deciding she'd rather just have her granola bar, she took it out of her pocket and began to eat it. Finally, he finished eating and took money out of his pocket to pay for the food. Uh-huh. I guess that's one way to 'recycle' money. You little lier. The door to the restaurant opened and a breeze ran through the building.

James sat down at the resturant and began to order food. Chicken, Lobster, and Steak all of James' favorite foods right infront of him and they all taste so good. After about an hour of eating James got up from his chair deciding that he was finished and went toward the bathroom leaving about 75% money he took on the table. Out the bathroom window a masked figure jumped out of the window and began to walk away from the building. As he walked he felt something buzz in his ear. Apparently there was a robbery not to far from the resturant. The masked man climbed up to the roof of the resturant. He than began to jump from roof to roof to get to the robbery. The masked man moved until he noticed that the so-called robbery happened at a very familiar store. The masked man jumped right in.

After seeing Smart-Aleck walk into the bathroom and not return, Sara decided to give up. Seriously, why am I so judgemental on the dude? It's not like I haven't done worse things in my life. He can do whatever he wants. Sara turned and left the restaurant. I wonder if the police have turned that store inside out yet looking for a robber. Hmmm... I think I'll go see. Got nothing better to do. Stretching, she began to trudge back to the store. When she got there, she saw a whole ton of police cars, a helicopter, and a bunch of people standing around. One person was standing off to the side away from the group of policeman. Sara couldn't see his face because he was masked, but she had the strangest feeling that she knew him. Confused slightly, she leaned against a street lamp and pulled her fedora down. Too many policemen could know her if they saw her. She leaned there, staring at the masked man, struggling to place him.

The masked man continued to move throughout the scene perfectly unnoticed by the police... well by most of them at least. One of them came up to him and asked what was he doing. The masked man mostly ignored him and continued walking through the area. THe police man didn't like being ignored. He quickly grabbed both of the masked man's arms and handcuffed them. The masked man was planning on breaking the handcuffs but once he saw a familiar black fedora he quickly allowed the police man to handcuff him and was escorted to a police car. Once inside he was able to break the cuffs with ease by just pulling them apart. Once he was finished he waited for the policeman to drive him off the premises. Once the policeman got in the car he look back at the masked man and asked him for his name. THe masked man looked up at the police man an whispered "You can call me The Beast." As he said that his mask began to slightly open revealing white fangs. The police man nonchalantly dismissed it as a kid's prank and began to drive The Beast towards the police station.

Sara watched as the masked man was handcuffed. She could have sworn that he looked at her, but then again, it was hard to tell with that mask on. As he stepped into the police car, she tried to place him before he left her sight. Wait a sec... SMART-ALECK! Surprised, she froze for a couple seconds as the police car began to roll away. Oh, crud. I guess I have to help him now, right? Recovering from her shock, she turned and found an old Buick, which she promptly hot-wired. Settling into the driver's seat, she floored the gas pedal and took off after the police car.
Slowing down as she arrived at the police station, she watched as the police officer in the car with Smart-Aleck got out and bent to tell S-A something. Probably something like, "Stay here or else!" in one of those voices that police officers think are scary. The officer turned and walked into the station. Sara got out of the Buick and stalked across the street to the police car. She opened the door and looked down at S-A cockily.
"So. We meet again. I thought there was something more to you, but I never would have guessed you had this bad of a fashion sense." She tugged at his mask for a second, then stopped, smirking. "Honestly, why didn't you just break out of the handcuffs when he first put them on you? That would have saved me a whole lotta time."

The Beast looked up at the woman and tilted his head. " Do I know you?" The Beast leaned back in his chair. He looked quiet confortable there. "Whatever, It doesn't matter. stand back." The Beast turned so his feet were pointed at the door and in one kick was able to push the door open. After he had walked out of the police car he looked over at the woman in the black fedora. Before he could say anything else the police car's radio went off and said something about another robery at the New Orleans bank. Once he heard the radio he immediately turned toward the direction of the bank and began to run. Once again once he was out of sight of the police station the policeman came out and saw the broken car door and the girl right next to it. "WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED!!!"

Sara turned towards the policeman, smiled wickedly, dipped her fedora to him sarcastically, and took off after Smart-Aleck. She soon was sprinting right alongside him. "Is there some name that you would like me to call you because at the moment I'm having to resort to nicknames," Sara huffed as the New Orleans Bank came into view. She glanced at the young man and raised an eyebrow questioningly. He looked at her and seemed slightly confused on how she had caught up to him. "Well? Any title at all? Doesn't have to be your real name." They skidded to a halt outside the bank.

The Beast paid the woman no attention. He looked around. There didn't seem to be anything wrong outside of the bank. The Beast couldn't even smell any gunpowder or anything. After walking closer to the building through a window nothing seemed to be amiss. The Beast couldn't decide what to do he could go back to searching for the car or he could turn in for the night since it was getting late. As he began to go back the way he came he noticed that the girl was still following him. "Will you please stop following me?" he asked looking at the women in the fedora.

"Well, trust me, I wasn't planning to follow you, but when I saw you arrested, I wanted to see what happened to you. Personally, you might be the most annoyingly interesting person I've ever met. First, you rob a store. Then, you run away and leave me to get arrested. Then, you put on a mask and claim to have never seen me before, as if that makes any sense. You are OBVIOUSLY the same person as before. You walk the same way, your voice sounds the same way, and unless you have a twin brother, EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU looks exactly the same!" Sara took a deep breath and looked up, struggling to control herself. She hadn't realized how annoyed she had gotten with Smart-Aleck and now she was running the risk of going prehistoric. She took another calming breath and looked back at the man, who was staring at her.
"Fine. I give up. Now, how about we actually go IN the bank and take care of the robbers in there. You almost left without doing anything about them. Can't you hear them in there? They are soooo loud, yelling at people and such. Are you going to help me or just leave?"

"What in God's name are you talking about. Rob a store? I have done no such thing. Besides don't you think if I stormed right through the front door I would walk out without a few front holes in my chest. I'm not going to waste my time doing things that will get me killed. Besides why are you following me? Why did you try to help me. I KNOW NOTHING NOR CARE ANYTHING ABOUT YOU AND YOU CONTINUE TO GET IN MY WAY. besides they are watching us anyway." The beast pointed toward the window. "What would be the point of such a frontal assualt?" The Beast sighed. "Anyway. Unless you want to die stay out of my way." The Beast continued to walk the way he came. As far as the Beast was knew if he stormed right in the robber's would probably take hostages. And if the Beast was shot.... it would not be a pretty scene there.

Sara rolled her eyes. She called after him, "Whadda ya mean, watching us? They're on the other side of the fricken' building! If you would look closely, that window is in a BATHROOM!" She turned away from him. "Personally," she said out loud, accidently speaking lound enough for the masked man to hear, "I would like to walk in there. In fact, I hope the robber attempts to shoot me. It'll give me the perfect reason to go prehistoric!" Her body was shaking with barely suppresed tension, and her fists were clenched tightly at her sides. She could feel The Raptor stirring, and was, with all her might, suppressing it. No, no, no, and no. YOU cannot come out right now. Wait until there is a target that I'm NOT already angry at. No, no, no. Stumbling slightly, she lowered herself down onto one of the buildings stairs. She couldn't go prehistoric here, she just couldn't! She hadn't had an incident in three months, she couldn't have one now. She sat there for a minute, having a literal mental wrestling match.

Account of agent codename “Britannic”, Operation Stateside

“I arrived in the affected area around 16:30 hours via Lear helicopter from Camp Leroy Johnson. Colonel Gerster, the camp’s commander, had requested my assistance; there was no meta-powered US national within response range, and there were all the signs of a super-crime in progress. Huge tectonic disturbances had first levelled a large part of New Orleans, shortly followed by a sighting of two suspected looters. These “looters” has fled when challenged by a police helicopter patrol. Now, an hour later, there was a reported robbery in progress. I was in agreement with Colonel Gerster that there was very little chance that these events were mere coincidence.

After a short survey of the area, we responded to a call for assistance from a police officer, and reports of a thrid suspected looter escaping from custody. Apparently, his escape had torn the door from a cruiser.

Our infra-red scanners detected two heat signatures in a nearby building. I directed the crew of the Lear to position us directly overhead...”

Sitting there, shaking, Sara heard a sound. A sound that REALLY wasn't welcome at the moment.
A helicopter.
Crud. The government. Just what I need right now. Potential stress. Calming herself, she looked up. A heavily armed copter swang into view. Bank, here I come. She got up and sprinted into the bank. The voices of the robbers inside grew louder and she began to make out words. Slipping into a small room, she closed the door behind her and slumped to the ground, struggling to calm both her heartbeat and the being within. I just need enough time to get out. I am NOT letting the government capture me again. But I can't hurt anybody either. I need to CALM DOWN!

And she sat, thoughts swirling incoherently.

“We’ve got one on the move!” barked Britannic. Sparing no time, he yanked open the door of the Lear and threw himself into space, thirty feet above the ground.

His boots smacked into the tarmac and he crashed through the glass doors of the bank. He rolled, coming up with his back to a column. There was no sign of movement, but he could hear voices deeper into the building. He clicked the comm-bead set in the ear of his cowl.

“Stay on-station, flight leader. Keep the thermals panning for the second suspect.” He clenched his gloved fists. “I’m on the runner.”

Without waiting for a response, he was up and running towards the sounds of voices ahead.

Battousai had been down in his favorite mud whole of a city known as New Orleans. It wasn't a very big city; but it was one of his favorites. He loved the southern hospitality of Louisiana and how the food here was full of flavor and spice. He had been poking around in the french quarter for half the night. Causing all sorts of chaos and mayhem. He had just turned the corner from the Lafayette cemetery when he heard an all too familiar sound. It was a helicopter. Battousai smiled to himself as he thought of how wonderful it would be to see it come crashing down in a blaze of fire. Cocking his head slightly; Battousai ran over to were it was. Hiding for a moment; he saw it hover as someone jumped from the helicopter. Battousai smiled as he saw the man land on the ground unharmed. He was clearly more than a mere ordinary human, as if he was he would have broken several bones from a fall like that. Battousai observed for a moment. It appeared to be a government operation of some kind. He should know; for he was ex-miliatry himself. With a grin as wide as his face; Battousai nearly cheered in glee. He was so excited that he would be able to cause the government more trouble. The deserved it after all, for trying to kill him with a warhead was just plane mean. Battousai stepped out from the shadows and into the path of the pursuing soldier who was oddly dressed. Battousai; with a grin still on his face, spoke up and asked, "What is your hurry friend?" Battousai propped himself up against a brick wall that was still standing. He then waited to see if the soldier would interact with him or try and ignore him.
