Personality:

Once upon a time Alex looked through the streets of the formerly great city know as New York. Gruff, unforgiving, and full of turmoil. The city changed so many and transformed an entire culture around it. Where the strength of numbers worked adversely with the control of few, Alex wanted something else. Never feeling truly accepted as a woman, he changed his own physiology to match himself, and knew he could do the same to the city.

The outside and inside didn't match, but he could change it. He was the Antithesis.

History:

Alex grew up in a middle class home in upper Buffalo with every chance to succeed. Living in the body of a girl, but feeling the urges he associated with the boys around him, Alex adjusted oddly through his lower education. At every turn he felt as though his inner workings and outer appearance lived in schism with how people reacted to him. Each one of these small incidents reminded him of the powerlessness the world imposed on the individual; how no one could escape the world for what it was.

The divine might of psychosis works in mysterious ways, and at puberty, Alex discovered he could alter his gender to whatever best fit. From birth he possessed a very acute sense of memory and problem solving, and astonished his teachers when he could tell them what was for lunch by peering at the signs in the cafeteria from inside the classrooms, but this new technique stayed hidden until he underwent puberty-- giving him something more unsettling than most.

After high school ended, Alex made his way to graduate Cumma sum laude in criminal psychology and went to work for the state of New York, eventually reaching the rank of detective. A unique knack put him ahead of his peers, but the subtle nature of his powers kept him just below the level of interest others could tell. Since he gained reasoning skills he learned how to exercise a higher cognition than others. Alex went to work as a man, and merely passed off the records as a woman for a typo.

Desk work for him lasted most of his early career. He profiled some of the more prolific murders in the city, and his specialty led to the conviction of a major serial killer when he managed to put together an image of his filed off finger prints from skin flake samples collected from the killer's home. The conviction allowed him to move into the streets to begin taking a more hands on approach to the world of crime.

Alex helped civilians escape from under New York City inside of the ice tunnels drilled out by Bliss Fokukama, and since returned to New York to try and bring order to what remained of the government of New York City.

Powers:

Transformation- Alex can change his gender between female and male at will. (1)
Far Sight- Alex can see into places he has been before. He enters a meditative state and can view the room as though he were there from any vantage point he wishes. (3)
Unmake the World- Alex can put together complex makings and images in his head. He can look over finger prints and memorize them perfectly in his mind. (2)

Personality is more like a nice opening to his/her history, but it doesn't explain their actual personality. Are they shy, happy, sad, funny, bubbly, goofy? Mean?

Well, I wish you could give me a nice picture of his/her appearance. But, my imagination has done the job for me.
