Rating
Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

The ability to heal from just about any wound will change anyone's outlook on life. It's a package deal. Johnny is hard to scare, quick to fight, and always throwing himself in situations the average human would call suicidal. He has a desperate need for attention and will frequently go too far to get it. Colt takes his work seriously. When on the job, he's quick, thorough, and on a bad day, followed by a trail of blood. His allegiance is to money and is easily persuaded to switch sides in a conflict if the pay is better.
Undesirable as a friend, Johnny ends up spending a lot of time alone with his own thoughts. Occasionally, his grasp on reality is questionable.
History:
Johnny lived the life typical of any army brat, shifting from school to school and country to country. His mother died during labor. From what his father told him, she was a good woman. Johnny's combat skills were taught to him by his father. At age 18, his father was stabbed in a bathroom at a run down bar by a group of thugs from some local low-profile gang. Johnny was there witnessing the whole thing, too stunned to help his dad. Expertly trained in combat, but having no real-world experience with violence, he was quickly put down when he finally mustered the courage to avenge his father. He was left for dead at his father's side in a dump of a bar in some crummy town in a country who's name he couldn't even remember. What a way to go out.
Except that's not how Johnny Colt's story ends. Hours after the bar had been cleared out by the local police, Johnny sprung to life in a brightly lit morgue. His father was on the table next to him. Understanding immediately the condition of his father but very unsure of his own, Johnny ran from the morgue.
After that day, Johnny found work in the same gang that had killed his father. He would have his revenge. After a few months of working a variety of jobs ranging from petty thievery to a few low key assassinations, Johnny had earned the trust of the gang. He began asking questions about the incident at the bar months prior. No one seemed to remember it. Eventually, three members recalled stabbing some old man in a bathroom at some grimy bar. When asked why, the general response was, "Just because." Johnny shot the thugs while they laughed at the death of the old man, not knowing it to be Johnny's father.
Immediately after, the gang's hideout was engulfed in a hellfire of bullets. When the smoke cleared, only one man was standing. Riddled with more holes than a chunk of Swiss cheese, Johnny stood victorious. His body's healing abilities kicked in and he watched the holes in his skin close up on their own for the first, but definitely not last time.
A few years and a few hundred bodies sent to the morgue on his behalf later, Johnny is an accomplished mercenary, capable of holding his own against supers thanks to his own super abilities.

Patience was not a virtue upheld by the ruthless mercenary, Johnny Colt. Johnny was sitting at the edge of an old wooden boat dock, fishing for hours. Fishing was a patient man's hobby. This was not one of Johnny's hobbies. This seemingly average dock was in fact very average, but, according to the Intel provided by his current employer, it was the favored boat launch of a judge in an important upcoming murder trial.
Johnny sat in silence, perhaps pondering the morality of the job he was waiting to perform. "I wonder what G.U.N. pays its soldiers. It's too bad they don't like to kill anyone. That makes the job harder." No, no questioning of the morality of the job, no existential crisis, and no thoughts of anything but money. That's just how it works, at least, for today.
Finally, after hours of boredom and result-less fishing, the mark had arrived. Johnny reeled in his line and replaced his lure with a small explosive he had been waiting to use. Once the judge was a good 50 yards away, Colt cast his line with an expert precision that could only be gained in several hours of god forsaken fishing. The end of the line plopped in the rear of the impressively sized fishing boat and with the press of a well-hidden remote detonator, the upcoming murder trial would be judged by someone else.
After a quick snip of the line and an authentic scream to match those around him, Johnny left, to collect the second half of his pay.
