give the other cities some love

okay their does not seem to be to much going on in any american city that is not new york. any one care to start an arc some where else and give the rest of the country some love

Most people base their characters in New York, so that's where they always want a thread when I ask them. The Talons base is also in NYC.

For what it's worth, my main is based in California and I'm always willing to post in ATL since I'm from the area.

but as far as an actual arc goes, it would probably be best to have an idea for an arc before deciding the location.

To be honest, Arcs take a bit of planning. So if you can think of a cool quest to be honest in other parts of the world, do it.

New York, the section in the RP section of course, is just popular. It's a well known city, and a lot of the major heroes/villains are there.

The Purge, however, is happening in a lot of places at once.

So, New York won't get the most destruction this next arc.

Thrones is also in NYC.

this was just preliminary to see if there was even any interest. i wanted to do a very street level hero kind of thing maybe not quite an arc but a series of inter connected on going threads, i think new Orleans might offer some interesting locations and plot opportunities with the bayou and the old buildings and unique culture

None of my characters are from New York. Technically, only one of them is even from the States at all. I'm not the only one who has branched out, either. If you try to get something started elsewhere, I'm sure people will show up for the action.

Why not Minneapolis/St. Paul? It's a well populated metro area that has a large number of lakes and weird townsfolk. or what about Milwaukee? Full of beer for a good mushroom samba super bash? or really anywhere in the Midwest, It's like the only places that matter in media in general are on the coasts, Texas or Chicago

Actually, I have an Idea, It's kinda dumb but i don't care. How about we set a city for Silver age style stories. you know the ones with jet powered super apes that want to turn the earth into a jungle planet, and scientist that want to blow up the moon? where the villains are silly but still threatening, a sillier, simpler RP away from the whole... well, let call it 1990's style super heroics.

how about st. Lois? also i would love to do a silver age era story, i love the silver ade hwo about say we do a silver age story but have it set in a bronze age enviroment so it seem really over the top make most of the character would be really confused during most of it

I've lived in the twin cities my whole life. They really arent all that spectacular, but if anyone wanted to do a thread there, I'd be up for it.

Most of my threads are in other countries tho.

Let's see... St. Louis, Silver age, Brazen... The Spirit of St. Louis? The Alloy Arch? The Gateway to Adventure? A lighter Shade of bronze?

Or as both Phase Shift and K.M. are both Science heroes how about some thing science-y like The world of tomorrow, or falling off the cutting edge.
