Call to Arms

This is a call to arms, for all super humans who are willing to fight for our cause. Alone, we are doomed to failure; The assault on New York has shown us that. Over half of the city was destroyed before we were able to drive the attackers out. Now a great city struggles to rebuild, and the ruins have become a wasteland for crime and filth. This destruction could have been minimized, possibly even prevented, but we need an army that can stand together. Together, we can better protect those who cannot protect themselves. Together, we can restore order and vanquish the evil that seeks to destroy.



Joining


If you want in, you gotta' prove yourself to one of the leaders. Can't be sendin' you to fight a war if all I'm gettin' back is a bodybag. Each leader's got their own test, you pass just one of em' and you're in. Ain't gonna be easy with me punks.

Guidelines and Outfitting

Unless absolutely necessary, do not kill your enemies and keep collateral damage to a minimum. We are protectors, and cannot put personal gain before our cause. All captured super humans, depending on the signficance of their danger, are to be imprisoned at either our headquarters, or one of the prisons we have established in the major cities. Regular humans, in most cases, are to be turned over to the local authorities. Within reason, all members of G.U.N. will have access to funds to acquire any necessary equipment.

Title Descriptions

Leaders - A leader must be wise and experienced, it is not simply about raw power. They control and lead the group, give out missions, tests, and assign teams. They are essentially the council of G.U.N. At all times, the number of leaders must be odd. Currently, we need at least one leader. If you choose to be a Leader, you must still choose one of the three titles below.

Guardians - A guardian must be durable, they are typically the first into the fray and the ones soaking up the damage. Strength is not a necessity, it's just more common among the 'group'. Pain personally leads all Guardians. If you kill someone as a Guardian, you get one warning from the big guy. Pain only talks with his mouth once, the second time, he talks with his fists. Your character must have at least four Endurance to qualify.

Vanquishers - Typically someone granted this title will have powerful EP powers. The group has no leader as of yet, so it has much room to grow and has no specific rules besides the ones stated for all members. Your character must have a power with at least four EP to qualify.

Phantoms - Characters that would best fit into under this title are typically gadget users, extremely skilled fighters, detectives, and speedsters. The group was founded by The Black Knight, so anyone under this title must follow a more strict 'rulebook'. No killing, no exceptions. We decided as a group if death is necessary. You must have at least three intelligence and four fighting skills to qualify.


Recruits - This rank is assigned to any member who has not passed their test, picked a title, or cannot qualify for a title.


Main Purpose of Titles

Titles are mostly used for strategic purposes, to choose what class of super human best suits the mission at hand. Just because you have a different title than someone, doesn't mean you will never work with them. You will be assigned missions and partners that best suit your capabilities.

Reason for Joining G.U.N. : Pain made me. I used to belong to G.U.N and have worked with the resulting sub-group in the following years of it's break down. I know the system and am eager and willing to help those who need it, however big or small.

Reasons for joining le group: Currently has little else to live for then this goal to make it as a hero and finds this as best chance.
