Nolan smirked as Skyler demanded to know if there was a catch,as if he would do such s thing,then again it was never beyond him to demand something of his daughter. He had no reason to blame the female being wary after everything that she was to have witnessed within her life and in fact he would not. ” I assure you that there are no strings attached to my offer as good as it seems.” He did not let his tone betray a single thing,his expression pleasant enough to anyone not privy to how Nolan Caster functioned. Anthony knew that his father could be ruthless in his dealings even with family,though why he wasn't with Skyler eluded him entirely. Perhaps it was just him feeling a small tinge of guilt for leaving her so many years ago but that was yet to be seen.

”My offer is what all Caster's are given,shelter within one of the mansions if they have no home of their own or in your case I can personally house you as my daughter. We Caster's never leave one of our own out.” Cornelius being the exception but he purposely excluded himself from the affairs of the family and hadn't been seen for years. Nolan had no time for that old fool and all of his escapades. ”You're even welcome to take for yourself a room if it suits you.” He offered running a free hand through his rough looking dark blonde hair. He of course wouldn't bring up the death of her adoptive mother or even the identity of true mother. That would be left up to times when things were not as tense as they were now.

” Not at all. Fate has a strange way of working,not even the best of us can guess its workings.” Nolan answered slyly to her question, a well spoken doubt about their chance meeting. Of course Nolan had this small incursion planned out but he wouldn't let that small bit of info slip just yet,he would let it seem otherwise. She still demanded more proof and quick proof as it was,though she wasn't sure if he could produce a method like that in an instant. The Caster's had such a tool but he was not sure how deeply within the vault the thing was. ”I think we have just the tool if you are sure you want enough proof within the matter,Anthony you know what I mean , right?”

Anthony nodded as he did what seemed like him melting into a shadow. Leaving the two alone for a small while,enough for him to explain anything that needed explanation; though Nolan just looked at her with unerving blue eyes as he waited for about a minute when Anthony seemed to reappear through the same shadow that he had gone through with a small stone within his hand. It was a small iridescent stone that was see through with what looked like crystallized blood within the center. ” This should be able to prove that you are indeed in possession of Caster blood,its how we test those with magical potential or with supernatural lineage.” A strange black substance seemed to bubble from his hand,no, out of nowhere as it seemed to coalesce into a sharp point and prick the tip of his finger.

A single drop of blood drop onto the object as it instantly reacted by pulsating with a deep crimson light until the clear sphere was deep red like the center way. Nolan uttered a single word in a strange language as the thing returned to its natural state with a red core. ”This reacts to the latent fae blood within all Caster's and if you are indeed a Caster,the object will do the same when in contact with your blood.” He handed the orb to the girl waiting to see if she would take the object.

Nolan did not even flinch as Skyler stabbed through her finger to retrieve the blood that would prove who she was,crimson liquid falling upon the powerful artifact. The same process happened to Skyler's blood except a bright light seemed to exude from the orb, a sign of something interesting that he had not forseen. ”Interesting.” Nolan noted before the core once again contracted. ”I hope this is proof enough,though it seems the Fae blood is strong within you,which may explain why your body can repair itself so easily. Very few Caster's get such a powerful gift.”Though her gift seemed more powerful than the usual one that most Caster's received. ”But if thats all you are more than welcome to go to your room and relax. There are some servants that would be more than happy to serve you whatever you would need.”

After Skyler was escorted to her room for the night,Nolan let himself relax even further. ”That went better than expected. Only took a little of convincing really,I was expecting more trouble really.” He muttered intertwining fingers together as he rested his forehead against the intertwined digits. Something was brewing within his mind but what was it?

”What exactly are you planning?”Anthony ventured to ask raising an eyebrow. Nolan shot hima look before smirking.

”Nothing you need to concern yourself with. Now I want you to get to dealing with that....elemental.” He dismissed with a motion of his hand. Anthony nodded and in a moment he steppe through one of the many shadows filling the room.
