Personality: Megaera is forceful, imposing, and stubborn. Every word she speaks is like a command, and a dominant aura surrounds her. She is arrogant, and has a hard time accepting aid from others, especially mortals. Though she speaks plainly and often harshly, she can often show kindness in her own ways. Lilian often provides a softer balance to Megaera hard personality. She keeps her emotions under control which leads many to believe she lacks emotions entirely, though this is not true. In actuality she feels very strongly about her mission. She will always protect innocents if able, but she understands it is her main purpose to punish rather than protect. Her strong sense of justice may put her on the side of some heroes, but her extreme methods make her an enemy of many.

History: Megaera was a minor (As far as gods go) goddess of ancient earth. Balanced by the goddess of forgiveness, she punished those who did all manner of wrongdoing. Eventually, as was the inevitable way of things in the days when gods ruled the earth, a new regiment of gods overthrew Megaera's and slay her with her brethren. Given what she was, she couldn't truly be killed. She remained tethered to Earth's spirit realm with no physical body not even able to observe, and only rarely being able to attempt interaction with earth's inhabitants. For time immeasurable she searched for a way to gain a new body, but it was no simple task. Opportunities to speak to the living were rare, and to gain a body it must be given to her willingly and belong to a living person with a pure heart.

She found her opportunity in a young girl named Lilian Wray. Born to a rich and privileged family, Lilian spent her time from birth seriously ill. She surprised her doctors by living past childhood, but she spent her days bedridden and going through incredible pain. Shortly after her 17th birthday, as she began to draw closer to her death, the walls between the spirit world and the physical one were thing enough for Megaera to make contact in a dream. Lilian was good and kind to a fault, as well as extremely hard on herself. She thought that if she let this goddess use her body, at least it would have been worth something. Though Megaera warned her death may very well be more pleasant than being trapped in a body you can't control, Lilian accepted the deal. Megaera took her pain away, but Lilian became only an observer. Able to see and hear and speak to Megaera in her mind, but nothing more. Lilian disappeared from her bed that night, though a strange note was found telling her family goodbye. A search was conducted, but in the end it was ruled a suicide.

Though she was a goddess her powers had weakened over the millennia, and being in a mortal body weakened her further. Even so, the power Megaera granted Lilian's body is nothing to scoff at. Her weak body was filled with incredible superhuman strength and endurance, as well as the use of Megaera's wings and swords through a magical choker. Now Megaera lives again, in a strange and new world. Her purpose has not changed however, she will deal out punishment to those she judges deserving. She holds up what is now considered an antiquated idea of justice, but she carries no doubt as she administers draconian punishments and takes an eye for an eye. Her actions often save lives, which make some consider her a hero. However the fact that she kills murderers and villains without a second thought make some consider her a renegade at best, a villain at worst.

Powers:
Super-Strength: The power of Megaera grants her body incredible strength.
Endurance/Durability: The power of Megaera grants her body superhuman durability and endurance. She is unfazed by most attacks, immune to all normal disease, and does not require air to live. Being tethered to a mortal body does weaken her somewhat, she must still eat and sleep though she requires very little. She can go for days without food, water, or sleep. She has a tendency to ignore these needs until the point of collapsing.
Flight: Able to magically fly using Megaera's wings, summoned with Megaera's choker.
Sword Summoning: Able to summon four different swords bound to her choker to her hand.
Judgement Gaze: Megaera has the power to know an individual's sins by focusing her stare on them for a brief amount of time. (A few consecutive seconds.) She can learn what crimes they have committed, but no the details of them. (She would be able to know that someone committed murder, but not who they murdered or the when and where.) Pretty much just for RP purposes.

Megaera's Choker: A magical item that allows Megaera to summon her wings and weapons when needed. It is a black choker with two sword-shaped blood-red gems on each side of a matching sphere in the center. The color drains out of corresponding gems when she summons the bound item. (The sphere is bound to her wings.) The items are soul-bound to Megaera, so if someone else somehow obtained the choker it would be useless to them though she does need the choker to be able to summon her equipment. when using the choker her eyes change to a vivid orange color and her armour is summoned to her body When she stops using it, her outfit transforms back into whatever mundane clothes she was wearing.

Two of her swords carry sharp edges, while the other two are blunt and are used with Megaera's incredible strength to litterally crush her enemies. They are large and heavy, making them impossible to use without a ridiculous amount of strength. Once of each variety of sword is made of steel reinforced with other metals. the other two are made of a strange stone material not found anywhere on earth and stained blood red. While her weapons are incredibly durable, they are neither invincible or self-repairing. If one of her weapons was ever broken, she would require the aid of one or more individuals with extremely high magical power and knowledge to repair it.
