Personality: Jack is very intelligent to the point of arrogance. Even after Acquiring his powers he still see his mind as his most valuable asset. Spending little time with friends or family Jack has devoted his life to determining the mysteries of the universe. These included why matter has mass to why the speed of light can not be surpassed. More recently he has begun collaborating with increased frequency as he is slowly realizing that he can not solve all problems o n his own.

Furthermore Jack is far to curios to the point of almost being obsessive compulsive. If something does not make sense. the need to uncover an explanation becomes so all consuming that he will not eat drink or sleep until he has solved the puzzle. At crime scenes he spend excessively long periods of time making sure that all evidence has been found and then trying to figure out how it all fits together.

History: Jack's childhood has as typical as one could possibly imagine. He went to school played out side then went home to parents that loved him . The only distinguishing feature he posses was an unparalleled curiosity. He would spend hours at a time at the library reading about every topic he could possibly imagine ever wanting to know about. on very many occasions he would be found by his parent taking apart one of their appliances to figure out how it worked this was in fact the only thing that ever go him in trouble.

Over the year his curiosity only grew and by the time he reached college it was borderline Obsessive. Thus he went to every lecture he could find that was open to the public took part in every experiment he could fit in his schedule to the point where he would not sleep and only barely ate. His devotion to science and experimentation resulted in his acceptance an internship at CERN in Switzerland. When The Large Hadron Collider was initiated their was a malfunction somewhere in the laser array. Jack took it upon him self to investigate as his curiosity would not let him act otherwise. Meanwhile the technical team determine that it had been a wiring issue in the control room which they fixed. They started the collider up again no realizing realizing that Jack was near the array.

Jack was bombard with both Higgs and Anti-Higgs bossson particles. This imbued him with the ability to alter his density ranging from almost 0 to almost infinity. However he was unable to control the shift for the first 6 months during the first three he could barely form a coherent thought. However gradually began to exert control over his body slowly at first stopping himself from straying to either extreme and slowly closing in on the correct range until one day through continued experimentation he found the correct density and his phase altered to to where he could move and exert force on objects. Through even further experimentation he learned how to alter his density at will to become incorporeal and super dense on the order on magnitude of obsidian. Jack realized that he had been gifted with immense power and that he should use it for good however he could not ignore the great itch that was constantly getting to him in the from of the need to figure things out so he became a super scientist.


Powers: Density Modulation: Jack has the ability to alter the density of his body and any bjects he is holding as he shifts to any density from 0 to infinity without altering the volume however he is only able to access three density ranges at will. use of the activation of the power requires one post., after which he may shift into any of the ranges. The range is maintained for a minimum of at least 3 posts after which he may shift to either of the two other ranges or stay in the current range. The change is instantaneous but 3 more post must pass between each shift.

Expert Puzzle Solver: From years of all consuming attention to the enigmas, conundrums and all things vexing. Jack has unparalleled skill in soling mysteries puzzles and all things where the answer is not clearly apparent. As a down side resulting nutty professor syndrome where they often over look things that are common sense.

Roleplay Sample: The library was closed for the day, the doors were all locked, the windows all shut., the light all out except for one. All the way in the back corner of the library impossible to be seen from the out side, shown one light it was set to it dimmest setting as Jack liked it. He knew he was not supposed to be in the building at such a late hour particularly since it was closed. But these factors mattered little to him. He needed to be here the puzzles were calling to him, and this was the only time he was sure that he would not be interpreted by the masses who would never be able to understand. This was the only time that he felt complete as if solving these mysteries, riddle, and puzzles was some how going to be able to fill the whole that he felt within him self.

this had become a nightly routine for him. He knew the the library closed persistently at 9:00 pm every night. He would leave his apartment at 9:30 to patrol the city as was one of his superhero duties. He almost never found any one beside the common muggers and purse snatchers but he knew the one time he did not patrol would be the one night that some one really needed him. At 11:00 pm Jack would fly over to the library and made sure no one was looking before shifting in to his incorporeal phase before flying through the wall of the library and shifting back to his normal phase. He would then search the shelve diligently for the first thing the peaked his interest. This particular night it was a collection of riddles in their native Russian, one of the many languages he had picked up over the years, after exhausting the English selection of mysteries riddle and puzzles this particular library had to offer. He had soon afterward found that the challenge of learning a new language helped to sate his thirst for mental exercise so he found that he began to learn quite a few.

Jack took his book and went to his seat perfectly situated so that no one could possibly see the light from the out side of the building. He torn through the book until the first signs of day light at which point as he did every night he returned the book to where he had found it only having partially sated his ever growing hunger for something vexing. He turned off his light Shifted phases and flew home, it took ever fiber of his being to keep him self moving forward as ever inch he move away from the delicious enigmatic tomes stowed withing that library tore a larger whole within his soul that with each night more was needed to sate the savage hunger

It was brought to my attention that Intangibility would need to be covered by 3 EP separate from the 2 you require for the shift.

So, your speed and DUR will likely have to decrease to make this happen. And tbh, your character really does not need strength.. but, when in your Intangible state, you will have to have 5 EP; 2 for the shift, 3 for the actual power.
