Re: The Final Goodbye (closed to Chelle)
When Cilian had finally accepted her blood, she was pleased he was drinking. "The taste of nearly two thousand years on your tongue; knowledge and power than simple people on dream about.." she said, chuckling lightly. Despite how hellish this situation was, it did not matter at this point. What mattered now was Cilian and his health. "I'll make sure things are better after this.. and I know it's not that delicious, but it's nice to just close your eyes and swallow fast. It'll help enough to patch you up and quicken up clotting to prevent you from losing too much blood." she said, giving him a soft smile. She then stood up and allowed a hand to move and brush hair from her face. She licked up her own wrist, the wound starting to close, her regeneration factor taking over, however slow it was.
Chelle turned, herself coming to face Sheryll at this moment. "I forgive you," she muttered, moving her arms to lift up Cilian. "But for now, I'd like you to distance yourself from Cilian, at least until he's healed up. Give him a few days, and you can come back to him. I'd also advise you to try and lose your mechanical suit when you visit him." she had returned to her, normal, self. She licked her lips and made sure to have her grip tight, but still seemingly gently upon Cilian's form. She wasn't about to make him walk on his shattered leg. He was lucky his femoral artery hadn't been severed. "Sheryll, I mean it. And I know you don't mean to do anything, but darling.. your mixed with bad blood, and you cannot escape it unless you find a way to stand up for yourself and get out of the situation." She gave her a soft look and waited for Cilian to speak, or ask to have help standing so he could, possibly, hug Sheryll.

"Well I can now tick that off my bucket list..", he chuckled, wiping a trickle of the strange tasting blood from his chin. There was no question that he was still in pain even though it had significantly lessened, to ignore the fact that he had a broken leg, shattered ribcage and a bleeding abdomen would have been quite stupid. There was no need to act tough in front of these ladies, it was futile..he was a mess, his suit was typically destroyed in action and he now had a collection of unsightly wounds, besides he had managed to freeze Sheryll before she would turn the surrounding environment into mince. "I now know why they say love is pain", he said, struggling to stand up in muted pain as he gave the brunette woman a strained grin.
The Dominus agent was palefaced, her brown locks were now a ragged mess and her blood stained face did nothing to show that she truly was all that human. She was a murderer, that was an unquestionable, irrevocable truth that neither of them could avoid. However no matter how hard the young prince tried to convince himself otherwise...she was still that same bubbly woman he met all those months ago, no horrid sin she had committed could erase the joy and love the two shared before everything turned on its head. He gazed at her, a gentle and calm stare...she could not return the gesture, choosing to look down, shamefaced and horrified at herself.
Leaning against Chelle's arm with a pained grunt he tentatively reached out to stroke Sheryll's cheek, the rosy red tint slowly returning to her youthful facade. He opened his mouth but no sound came out, his tongue was frozen and no words could drip off his muted stutter and he was certain that this farewell was going to be a wordless one.
No words.
His hand slid past her blood drenched body, the squirming black liquid slowly slivering out of every mechanical crevice on the NAS suit. She was now free to move, free to run and free to kill. Not that she did, the woman instead dropped to her knees, her body slumping forward in the grotesque bloody pond that oozed around the stained asphalt.
"You guys should go...", she murmured in a barely audible voice, not daring to look at them. The wires slowly retracted back into her suit, a low hissing noise vibrated through the air as her main offense recoiled back into its protective casing. Cilian swallowed, he loathed the fact that it came down to this but he knew she was right, nothing could tarnish the harsh reality of what was and with one last longing gaze he turned away, silently tugging at his queen to make her move.

Re: The Final Goodbye (closed to Chelle)
Chelle was silent, her mind half there, and half not. She was thinking of all the other people that quite possibly worked for Dominus now. How many there were, and what they were capable of. She was certain Sheryll was their strongest, but there were more; she knew that for sure. Despite most of them being mindless workers that did their bidding by simple command, she had so many feelings toward more meta humans. She turned her attention from her thoughts for just a moment. Chelle pulled at a necklace about her throat and it's clasp broke. She knelt, her strength only requiring her to have one secure arm around of Cilian. She placed the necklace upon Sheryll's palm and then stood up right. "War will be soon; but for now, enjoy the calm." she muttered, then looked toward Cilian. She gave him a stern stare, though a few tears were threatening her old eyes.
She then allowed her wings to spread and she was lifted from the concrete and pulled straight up into the air. The wind was quite possibly one of the best feelings at this moment, and it was moist. Rain was threatening the always fucked up city of New York City. This place was just bad luck. Always bad luck. "Cilian.." she said, glancing down at him while she tilted them to fly at an odd angle to keep him from getting too wet. "I promise things will get better.." she said, glancing down at him once again while the rain started to come down heavier than she expected. She saw the Pharmacy that Anna would be at, and landed gently. Anna was smart and had a car arrive to escort them to the Manor. "We'll need to get there as soon as possible.. Cilian needs to visit our medic and perhaps be given one more glass of my blood.." she muttered, gently sliding into the back of the limo and carefully placed Cilian on one of the couches. Anna climbed in. "Yes my mistress; Master Cilian, I am sorry you have had to deal with so much grief.. I am sure your wounds will be tended to and you will hopefully recover quickly." Anna tried for a smile, her little fox ears and tails appearing to show how sad she was for him.
Chelle simply chuckled, though it was a bitter sweet laugh. She moved a hand and slid it into her Prince's. "You better not die on me.." she said, her lanky digits laced with the french man's while her wings curled to act as more bullet proof glass against the windows. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the ride until they were near to the manor. Once there, she carefully took hold of Cilian and rushed him inside, Anna scurrying toward the medical wing in front of Chelle to warn the medic. "In coming major trauma!" she cried. Chelle sighed, but only when she looked down to all of Cilian's wounds. Chelle was a bit banged up herself, a few cuts and scrapes, but nothing she couldn't recover from on her own. She gently laid him down and made her way to the blood storage and found the section with packs over her own blood. Nearly fifty of them. She would always donate her own blood for the medical wing; it's properties were out of this world, and could heal wounds much faster than some medicines. She helped the doctor hook Cilian up to the blood, and simple saline solution while Chelle and Anna helped Cilian out of his clothes and started to clean him off.

Re: The Final Goodbye (closed to Chelle)
The young prince gave his lover one last fleeting glance, blinking back tears that threatened to ruin his visage even more. Ridiculousness, thats what he thought. A whole torrent of emotions he had not felt in years began to flood into him, eroding the cheery mask he held onto so dearly. His eyes drooped and his breathing became heavier, like he was entering a deep slumber and as the strain of the past events began to weigh heavily on him he could not help but accept his Queen's offer of support.
The sky ripped open with a loud clap, sending down a merciless stream of rain and as if mother nature had witnessed the horrors of that day she wept, attempting to wash away the blood and filth that stained the earth below. A flash of lightning froze the area in a brief portrait, a lone figure huddled under the storm..her limp and bloodied body barely hiding her broken soul. This was how they would leave her, so utterly defeated and yet both the Queen and the Prince knew that this was their only option. As the winds whipped their invisible threads against their shivering bodies the young Prince could not help but let one stray tear make its way down his face and fall into the bloody abyss below.
Cilian could not remember much of what occurred afterwards, his body was too weary, too weak to process where he was going or what was happening. A dim light throbbed in his vision, threatening to completely white out everything he saw. He heard voices, familiar voices and the warm embrace of a friend. White hair flicked around in the corner of his eye, it must've been Anna..the pretty lady from before. Such a shame...I should've treated her out to dinner before this mess.. he thought to himself as he tried his best to distract himself from the searing pain that slowly etched its way back into his system.
More voices shouted out loud, he was being rushed somewhere. His body was as limp as a corpse, dripping with an unhealthy amount of his blood. There was no chance he could save his suit and he internally sighed as he felt cold hands across his bare skin. A pained gurgle escaped his throat as he attempted to chuckle,"Can't wait to take my clothes off I see.." he managed to murmur not caring if the frenzied tattoos across his body scared the ladies.
Just as the last sliver of consciousness began to drift away into the grey abyss of his mind a final image softly made its way to his attention and like an old film the single memory played its final act, the sounds, smells and feelings of that one significant memory sending him off into the unknown quarters of what could possibly be life or death...
"Hi! I'm Sheryll, it's a pleasure to meet you, I'm 28, I love donuts, the color blue, and long walks in dark alleyways."...it flashed one final time, echoing across his head..
He smiled.

Re: The Final Goodbye (closed to Chelle)
Moving this to completed topics. This was by far one of the best threads I've been in in a while. I was very happy to have it end, but at the same time, a bit sad. Cilian and Chelle adventures are fun. <3
