Re: Business and nothing more [John Smith]
He holstered the guns. Babysitting wasn't in the job description, and he wasn't about to let a million dollars slip away. He ducked around the screaming girls, shouldering into the door and blowing it from its hinged as he barreled down the hallways. The stairs seemed to fly by as he pushed himself, running faster than he'd usually need to. But here, time was of the essence, and if she slipped away, it'd hurt his pride more than his wallet.
No one's escaped from me yet. And I'll sooner die before I let a supernatural freak get away.
As he rounded into the 30th floor, he found exactly what he needed. An elevator door. He pried it open, and to his delight, found that the elevator rest several floors up. He grabbed onto the dangling cables an begin his much quicker descent.
Around 10 floors down, he heard the groan of machinery, and the sparks of metal scraping metal was unmistakable. The elevator was coming down, and fast. He didn't have much further to go. 19th floor. 18th floor. He was closer to ground level. He may not be made of diamond, but his body was built to withstand impact. As he rounded the 10th floor, he let go of the cable. With nothing slowing his fall, he plummeted at a much faster rate.
With a loud thud, his feet hit the ground. He wasted no time opening the metal doors, and just as he slipped through, he could hear the groan of metal stop a floor above. He'd caught luck there. Wiping dust from his clothes, he looked around. No one down here seemed to have any clue what happened above. Which either meant Alexander has silenced the girls, or the speaker system was faulty. Either way, good.
He appeared to be in some sort of waiting room. Moms, sisters, and many others sat, awaiting the news of their little princesses. If the little girl was here, she had a guardian. He slipped back into the shadows of the hallway, where he had the perfect view. If he couldn't catch her, he'd wait for her to come to him.

Re: Business and nothing more [John Smith]
”What am I even doing here?” Reaper muttered as she stared down upon the large building from one of an even more impressive size, arms crossed over her chest, white hair fluttering in the wind. She was sure Gossamer could help the young girl but something told her that would not be the case. So she came prepared for whatever might come their way, loaded with weapons. Though most of them were in plain sight,it wasn't like she cared who saw what. She had enough to deal with any threat, as long as they weren't as tough as that damned diamond girl, but she had an idea of how to deal with those types too. Soon enough her attention was caught, as someone leapt out of one of the windows, through binoculars she saw who it was exactly. ”Shit.” She cursed under her breath, gritting teeth together harsly. Taking a few steps backward, which were basically lunging across the roof, she bound once again across it at her full speed before jumping. T he young woman moved like a bullet through the air, aimed to crash into the diamond girl and push her through the nearest window. Sure this wasn't her most brilliant idea but it seemed good at the time, and she never passed up a good plan when it came to her in a second of divine revalation.

Re: Business and nothing more [John Smith]
Halfway through her freefall the petite little diamond missile thought that was the end of it, she had finally escaped those men and thankfully for her a fall from 57 floors up will only damage whatever she lands on..and the young agent seriously hoped that no pedestrian was unlucky enough to cushion her fall. Just as she had passed the 20th floor a speeding white bullet soared straight at her, it practically came out of nowhere and before she could react the unknown white figure collided into her sending both of them crashing into a window on the 16th floor. Glass sprayed the room as the two bodies tumbled onto the carpeted floor, their lithe feminine forms smacking into anything or anyone that was unlucky enough to have stood near the grand entrance. Office workers screamed and panicked as their late hour shifts were rudely interrupted and by the time Lilia had regained composure the office had cleared, leaving her alone with a multitude of broken glass and the one person she least expected to of appeared.
A loud gasp escaped her lips as she tentatively looked over at her 'rescuer', an athletic pale body that barely left anything to the imagination had collided into a desk, a whole string of curse words streaming out of her snarling lips. It was none other than Agent Reaper, the foul mouthed agent who dressed like a stripper and it was quite acceptable to say that both girls had a tense relationship. Whilst Lilia did not hate this 'collegue' of hers it was safe to say that she could list a whole group of people that she would of preferred to pop out of nowhere and save her.
"what!?..Why are you doing here!?" she blurted out in her best english, staring wide eyed at the wintery woman as she voluntarily took a few steps back, Reaper had a short fuse and it was always smart to be a safe distance from the scythe weilding lunatic. Of all the people to show up that day, it had to be Reaper and as much as Lilia loathed the idea of the bloodthirsty albino being there she knew that she was in safe hands, even if those hands wished to wrangle her neck...

Re: Business and nothing more [John Smith]
John glanced at his watch. Minutes upon minutes passed as he awaited the arrival of the girl. It wasn't long before the other ballerinas were ushered out through a doorway, where they ran to their caretakers and hugged them. They began to leave, not a single word said between lips. As the room cleared out, there was but one attendant left. A rather pretty woman, she seemed to be a bit worried. If his guess was correct, she was with the diamond-skinned dancer.
He would do anything to succeed in his job. Now that he knew who the girl was with, he would use it as leverage. He stepped from the shadows, non-chalantly taking a seat next to the pretty girl.
Hello there. I see that the others didn't quite make the cut. You have a daughter auditioning?
John wore the smile that had made many a fine lady swoon before. He loved knowing that's his looks could be enough persuasion to grant trust. Although he assumed that this woman was also above normal human standards, he'd play the fool for now.

Re: Business and nothing more [John Smith]
”Hello to you too. Seriously,I risk my life to save you and all I get is this? Talk about ungrateful.” She huffed, hands finding their way to her sides as she seemed to ignore the few cuts that adorned her arms. Mostly a result of her jumping through a window but it mattered little to her. Patting the sheathed beam katana at her side, red eyes darted around the room at quick speeds as she scanned for the attacker. It was obvious that the young girl was attacked by someone but where was he now? It dawned on her in a matter of seconds that the man would be looking for her on the lowest levels of the building, since she did in fact jump out the window it seemed. So that was where she would be heading. 'Find Gossamer,i'll deal with this fucker,” Drawing the small wooden handle,a blade of energy formed in an instant. Burning the very air around it as it seemed to sustain its own existence.
Taking a runners stance she took off down the stairway at a blinding speed, already easily clearing two floors within a matter of seconds as she leapt over the railing and plummeted down the rest of the way. Joints jarring at the sudden impact, teeth suddenly grinding together as she quickly force herself to get over the pain. Now she was gonna do what she did best, and that was to kill an enemy. Kicking through the door with ease, she stepped out to see some staring at her, most likely confused by her clothing, or rather her shortage of it. 'What the fuck are you staring at?” She spat twirling the dangerous weapon in her hand.
” Anyway, anyone here attack some Russian ballerina chick? Cause if you did,we have business.”

Re: Business and nothing more [John Smith]
Before lilia could say anything more reaper snapped back at her, not that is was unexpected but still quite rude. Why on earth reaper went out of her way to save the diamond ballerina made no sense to the teenager and as she sat there, with innocent eyes glued to the albino woman a little grin spread across her crystaline lips. She saved me she thought to herself, biting her tongue as this amusing revelation passed throug her consciousness; maybe she's nicer than she appears to be, the fleeting internal monologue only lasted a few moments as her rescuer had bolted down the stairway, possibly to find the mercenary.
"But wait...oh.." she mumbled, pouting a bit as she sat on the shattered glass...she wanted reaper to hang around for some strange reason, but she knew that the bloodthirsty stripper wannabe would never turn down a chance to fight. Taking in one deep breath the Russian girl composed herself, it wasn't often that she got smacked into a building halfway through a freefall but nonetheless she had to get back into gear if she wanted to see Sheryll again. Reaching into her pocket and clasping the mobile she quickly dialed her elder sister's number, making sure not to damage the device with her diamond digits.
It rang once. Twice. Three times before a familiar voice answered back, a voice that obviously disguised a lot of worry and irritation. "LILIA! Oh my god where are you? What's happened? Are you okay?" Sheryll's voice blurted out on the other side of the phone, she somehow already knew about the incident in the building.
"Sheryll...I - I'm okay...a bad man came...but I jumped out of window..Where are you?" the young agent stammered, trying her best not to fumble with her English. A shrill gasp came from the other end of the line, Sheryll knew all about Lilia's abuse and it only made sense that the slightly overprotective dominus agent would react to lilia mentioning a 'bad man'.
"I'm downstairs with some weirdo...tell me where you are right now! I'm going to find you...and I am going to fuck up this bad man okay don't you worry about that" Sheryll confidently stated, and by no means was she overselling herself..if this mercenary were to bump into an angry agent Gossamer he would be turned into mince meat..she truly was a force of nature and luckily enough for the diamond ballerina this unstoppable juggernaut that was Sheryll was on her side, "Lilia please tell me where you are..wait... oh god ....", the connection abruptly ended and the girl screamed out Sheryll's name hoping to hear her voice again...but there was no reply. Her earlier sense of dread hit her like a train as the thought of Sheryll getting into trouble pierced her mind, how anything could possibly catch the older agent off guard was completely unexpected and it was that exact reaction that had the young girl shiver all over.
Almost by instinct the petite form of Agent etoile leapt into the stairway, cascading down the cold concrete as she rushed down to the first floor, hoping that nothing had harmed her loving surrogate sibling..
