Third time's the charm (Private)

Artemis walked the ruins of New York as a dog. She really had no idea where she was. She remember a small pack of humans finding her in her animal form and giving her food. Next thing she new she was in a cage in some strange building. Or at least she was until she broke out. But now she was walking the streets having a good time. Some people gave her scraps, other just yelled at her to get out of the way, usually ending in stupid mutt. She didn't know what a stupid mutt was, maybe it was a name for an animal, possibly a complement. But then a familiar smell crosses her nose. She ran after the smell to a park. A large bulking man was there, one she had seen before. She began barking at him, trying to get his attention.
