Post by Soldier of Fortune May 9th 2012, 9:36 pm

Lou's, New York, New York: Kimberley Ming AKA "Soldier of Fortune" was right at home with the motley crew that staggered into Lou's Bar nightly. Her beautiful exotic looks, her $10,000 leather coat and pants, and her Dolce & Gabanna boots aside, this was a place where "Soldier of Fortune" felt she belonged. A place among soldiers. Though most people simply cast her aside as another pretty face, or having achieved such a lethal reputation due to the simple fact she was a female, discrediting her considerable accomplishments. "Soldier of Fortune" was as advertised....... A soldier through and through. More accustomed to the hardships on the battle field than the pampered life her French manicured nails would indicate.

Kimberley was new to "The city that never sleeps", having arrived at JFK only a few days before. However her booking agent already had set her up with a place to live (Far to modest for Kimberley's expensive tastes), and was working on getting the deadly assassin working. Though as he assured her, work in her profession would not be hard to find in New York City. Kimberley/Soldier of Fortune was trained to the highest levels in the art of observation. So it came as little surprise she analyzed every aspect of her new home, from the people. to the manholes.

It was this learned skill that allowed her to see past the many great cultural mecca's, the iconic statues dotting the cityscape, the architectural wonders which made the city go, and of course the great hubs of business.... The skyscrapers... Symbols forever linking New York City with great business acumen, and unmatched financial wealth. "Soldier of Fortune" could instead see past the silver lining of the Empire City, seeing the true city, the real city... She could see the city for what it truly was..... A cest pool of sin, vice, and suffering. Flossy and superficial on the outside, while dark and insidious on the inside.

It was in New York as it was in all major cities Kimberley thought "Glitz and glamour, picturesque postcard backgrounds, all mere blocks away from abject fucking poverty.....The lowest of the low.... However all tucked nearly out of sight and out of the way of the patrician upper class and tourists. None of who give a fuck about the suffering of the poor unless...... Unless the bloodshed in the ghetto's spills out into the gold paved streets.....". "Soldier of Fortune" knew this line of thinking well, as it was the same in Hong Kong where she grew up. The young "Soldier of Fortune" looking with envious eyes upon the lives of luxury the Hong Kong upper class lived. The young girl ashamed of the poverty she and her family lived in, hoping above all else to climb the social ladder.

So "Soldier of Fortune" was not blinded by the bright lights of Times Square. Instead she saw opportunity.... Opportunity and potential profit in the seedy New York underworld. A world "Soldier of Fortune" was introduced to upon the recognition of her unnatural powers in a Hong Kong orphanage by Triad affiliated child smugglers. The Triad noticing the girls potential, "Soldier of Fortune" was trained in the Triads "Program Jade". A brutal program taking gifted orphans brain washing them and training them in the art of war, espionage, and assassination. For years "Soldier of Fortune" operated under the auspices of the Triad, killing wherever she went. However upon the sudden return of her memory, "Soldier of Fortune" escaped the Triad. The super soldier making herself available on the worlds mercenary market, to great success.

So "Soldier of Fortune" felt very comfortable among the many combat veterans which congregated at the bordering on dive "Lou's Bar". As she strutted towards the long wooden bar, she reached in her right pocket, pulling out a twenty dollar bill. She ignored lustful stares , as well as the confused looks practically screaming "What's she doing here?" in the nearly all male bar. Reaching the bar "Soldier of Fortune" put each hand on the bar, framing her body and arching her back, knowing all eyes were on her. A quick way to get the bartenders attention, who quickly came to get her order. The mercenary then saying "Jack on the rocks." in her nearly British accented English. The obliging bartender quickly pouring her drink, sliding it down the bar to her awaiting right hand. The beautiful mercenary nodded and said "Thanks.... Keep the change..". The elderly bartender nodding and saying "Thanks...".

"Soldier of Fortune" then began sipping her drink, clearly waiting for someone.... In the meantime however the bartender walked over, saying in his rough voice "Don't mind me asking..... But what the hell is a girl like you doing in here??? Don"t often get....". "Soldier of Fortune" looked up and said "Women ordering jack in here??"". The Bartender smiled and said "Well women.... Don't get many coming around here.... What brings you around here??". "Soldier of Fortune" chuckled and said "Work...". The bartender shook his head and said "An escort?? Well you're in the wrong place... Don't no one here have much money.... Well the kind of money for a girl like you....". . "Soldier of Fortune" laughed and said "Not an escort.... A hired gun....".. The bartender laughed and rolled up his sleeve showing many scars, he pointed at a particularly large one saying "That one's from Iraq.... " He kept going point out scars saying " That one.... Afghanistan... This one.... Sudan.... This one right here.... Well this is from the Bronx.....". Soldier of fortune shook her head and laughed, she took off her leather jacket, wearing only a black half shirt on her upper half, which turned ever head in the bar. She point to a large scar on her back and said "Singapore.....", then pointed to one of her arm saying "Pakistan....", finally she pointed to a scar on her liver and said "Shanghai.....". The bartender stopped gawking and said "That last one..... That should have killed you.....". To which "Soldier of Fortune" said "What can I say..... I heal quick.....".. The bartender and seemingly the whole bar sat jaws a gap...

Just then the door to the outside open and "Soldier of Fortunes" booking agent walked in. She turned to the bartender and said "Til next time", to which the bartender nodded in acknowledgement. "Soldier of Fortune" then headed to her booking agent, a particularly fat and middle aged Italian man, who said "Good news..... I have some work for you....". "Soldier of Fortune" simply smiled a pretty smile, saying "Excellent!".

Robert was just getting off his high, he smoked from a bong a few hours earlier and now he was on the couch watching cartoons, relaxation to the maximum. It was some good weed, it was nice and mellow. It wasn't tiring though, it was just the perfect mixture of strains. He looked at the clock and noticed it was considerably late, usually he would go to the bar around the corner, but he didn't know if he had the energy for it. There was an empty bag of doritos on the coffee table, Robert had eaten them while he was high. But, he still had to decide if he would go out tonight.

He looked up at the ceiling in a deep thought... he decided that he would go out. He got up and took the bag to the trash can, though he was a single man, he didn't like a dirty house, like some of the people he knew. After that he walked to the bathroom, which wasn't a far walk at all. Though his apartment was small, it was also a little on the fancy side, which fit Robert perfectly. He washed his face off with some hot water, it felt great on his skin and it also woke him up a bit more. He decided to brush his teeth, he didn't like his breath smelling like shit when he went out.

After that, Robert walked to his bedroom on put on some clothes: black cowboy boots, black skinny jeans, diamond patterned long sleeve shirt, and a black sports coat. He then proceeded to walk into the living room, which was right next to the front door. He picked up his pack of cigarettes, keys lighter, cellphone, and his black raybans off of the coffee table. He got to the door and picked up his two titanium blade swords and put them on his back because you never knew. He also picked up his two handguns and put them in his sports coat pockets.

He walked out and locked the door, then put the raybans on. Though it wasn't daytime, it was basically instinctive to wear his glasses almost all the time. He walked down the hallway towards the elevator, it was late so he doubt anyone would be using it. He clicked the button and it opened immediately, so he walked in. He pressed the 1st floor button, he lived on the 9th floor, so this wasn't much of ride down. The ride didn't take long and Robert was off in the blink of an eye. As he walked out of the apartment building, he took out a cigarette and lit it.

He took a long drag from it, it then blew all of the smoke out. It was such a relaxing feeling. The bar wasn't that far, so he go there in what seemed to be a millisecond. He was still smoking when he went outside, the owner didn't care because he allowed smoking in the bar. Robert waved at the barkeep, he was a regular, coming almost everyday, though he hadn't been here for a week or so. He scanned the place, it was the usual: Jim and his crew watching the game, Drew and Aaron (the college kids) were at a table drinking beers and conversating, etc etc. He knew them as "the regulars".

He then noticed two people that weren't regulars an attractive woman that was in her 20s and a fat, middle-aged man. It looked like they were talking business. Robert walked up to the bartender, sat down, and said "How's it hangin', Lou?" Lou responded by handing him a glass of scotch and saying "Things have been good, Robbie. Stores still intact and the money is good. How about you, kid? Haven't seen you in here for a while." Robert took a sip of scotch and said "You know, the usual, nothing new. I had decided to stay in for a little bit, had to clear my mind. But anyways, who are the newcomers? I haven't seen them here before." He put the cigarette bud in the ashtray. Lou responded and said "Oh, that girl is here for work. She said she was a hired gun, I thought she was joking at first, but I don't so anymore. She showed me some of her scars to prove otherwise, they were in dangerous locations. Hey, wasn't your family in the whole assassin business, including yourself?" Robert smirked and gulped down the rest of the scotch. Another full cup was soon in his hands. "Yes, yes we were, but not anymore." He said in his trademark twangy, mid-western accent. He took a sip and turned the chair around, he was gonna wait until their little meeting had commenced, so he could say something to the girl, motivated from hearing about her line of work.

Post by Soldier of Fortune May 12th 2012, 1:10 pm

Lou's, New York, New York "Soldier of Fortune" and her booking agent Sal sat at the bar, both seated on tall bar stoles. Sal was shoveling peanuts into his mouth at a fairly constant rate, only taking breaks to take a large sip of his tall beer. "Soldier of Fortune" stood in stark contrast, eating nothing, while working slowly on her drink. They certainly made an odd pairing, the "Tony Soprano" looking booking agent, and a beautiful Chinese assassin. However their relationship was strictly business.... And as "Soldier of Fortune" considered herself the best assassin in the world, Sal was the best booking agent around. And living up to that reputation he had quickly found "Soldier of Fortune" her first contract.

Talking relatively quietly, though not caring if they were overheard by the regulars, the pair went over the particulars of the job. Sal spoke in a thick Italian New Yorker accent, his working class roots all but evident. He said "So this guy is a bit like...... You in a way..... Except for the fact he has an agenda as well.... Killing superhuman's in the hopes of "Saving" this imperfect world from getting to.....", "Soldier of Fortune" cut Sal off and said "Perfect??". Sal nodded, then said "Fucking guy seems like a crazy..... But he's good.... Besides this fixation on ridding the world of superhuman's, he also works freelance as a mercenary... He's as far as I know a super soldier... Created by the government perhaps?? And that makes him....", "Soldier of Fortune" cut in again, this time saying "Like me...", to which Sal said "No.... Well yes.... But more importantly.... Your competition..... You kill him and we'll have even more jobs getting lined up for you.... And you know what that means???". "Soldier of Fortune" looked up and stared at a tacky, dirty, framed picture of a white sand beach in the corner of the bar. She then sighed and longingly said "White sand beaches..... Margarita's..... An island bungalow..... And a model boyfriend..... Away.... Away from all of this...".. Sal laughed a deep and boisterous laugh, then said "Snap back to reality girl.... Do this job and you'll stand to make a nice profit.... In the short term.... And the long term.... Focus on that.... Don't let this guy know you're on to him... If he gets a jump on you.... He's not gonna be like anyone you've ever faced....". "Sldier of Fortune" nodded, then said "Humans... Superhuman's... In the end they all die the same anyway....."..

Sal handed "Soldier of Fortune" a packet containing her information on "The Perfect Soldier", which had been provided by her employer, an unknown superhuman benefactor. "Soldier of Fortune" browsed through it, looking at various file and pictures, studying the history of this similar super soldier, her pretty green eyes scanning nearly every detail. After ten or so minutes she knew all she needed to know about him... She pushed the folder to her side and said "He's mine....". Sal smiled and said "I know..... Just get it done.....". "Soldier of Fortune" smiled and said "Well you know me....", just as he annoyance with the man ease dropping next to them reached a head.

She caught the man trying to catch a quick look at her, only to be met by her eyes. Never one to back down, "Soldier of Fortune" said "Can I help you with something????". She knew it came off a bit rude, but in her line of work, ease droppers tended to carry listening devices, knives, and guns. And when it came between her and going home to enjoy the finer things that blood money can buy, well she would be rude any day of the week. She crossed her arms, waiting for the mans response, while Sal sat nervously in between the two.

Jade of the Triad Empty Re: Jade of the Triad

Post by Romulus Emanuel Mercury May 13th 2012, 1:41 pm

Leonardo Cratus was walking around New York at night, his leather jacket on over a green shirt with dark blue jeans and Nike shoes. Inside the jacket in the hidden pockets he had two Glock .22 pistols and his ‘special’ ammunition stored for this ‘mission’ he had been sent on. He didn’t know much about this target except for the fact that she too could heal and was a mercenary. Normally he would leave his own kind alone and focus on super humans not other humans or advanced humans but he was paid a great sum in advance to take out the “Soldier of Fortune” so that is what he planned on doing just that. His employer had not given him a name but they usually didn’t, to be honest it was what he was used to. Getting a call on his ‘work’ cell, meeting the employer in some random place, them not showing their face just the info on the hit and the upfront money.

He didn’t know where she was but he was sure he wouldn’t need to use his big weapons for this encounter when they met. Hell from the description he was given she shouldn’t be that hard to miss and was last seen going into some bar or something of that sort. He didn’t know what to expect besides the fact that she could fight, she was smart, and she could heal. All of those little details were something he had gone up against before and wasn’t afraid to do so again. So, walking up to the bar called ‘Lou's Bar’, it was a simple name but it caught the eyes attention for that reason. Maybe it was another normal bar like the one he visited not too long ago when he ran into Chelle but perhaps it wasn’t, and there was only one way to find this out.

Walking into the bar he looked around and felt at ease here, it seemed this bar attracted old war veterans and even though he couldn’t remember he was sure he had been in the military. Hell his ‘uniform’ and everything he knew was proof of that thought. He simply nodded to the people that looked at him, some saluted him because of his obvious military grade salute and he went and saluted them right back in their respective branch. Turning his attention to the lady at the bar and the guy speaking to her he smirked knowing she was his gal. Walking over he sat down next to her and ordered a vodka, the strongest they had in the place. The bartender chuckled looking at the military man who ordered it and replied jokingly, “sure you can have that on duty kid?” To which Leonardo only smiled, taking a sip of the drink. Turning to face the “Soldier of Fortune” he raised an eyebrow. “I’m sorry but I can’t help but over hear that you seem to want to kill me, to be honest I’d love to see you try,”

Robert had caught the attention of the girl, she yelled at him for staring. It's not like he was admiring her beauty, he was just listening to the mission she had been given. So he eavesdropped a little, but who didn't? It was part of a human's nature to be curious, is it not? It's how societies progress, but as they say: "Curiosity killed the cat.". He looked at the woman a little bit before answering, then finished the rest of his drink. He slowly put the glass on the counter and pulled out a cigarette, Lou wouldn't mind. He lit the cigarette, took a nice drag, and said "Actually, I don't need your help with anything. I was just simply interested in your little... mission. Don't worry, I'm out of the assassin business, so I really don't want anything to do with it."

He took a few more drags and then a man who looked like he knew what war was walked in. Robert put the cigarette out in the ashtray, and observed the man as he walked to the bar counter. All of the mercenaries and veterans saluted him, noticing that he saluted like a trained military officer. Robert gave him a two fingered salute in return, out of respect of course. The man sat down at the bar next to the female assassin and ordered a vodka.

Then he addressed the fact that the woman wanted to kill him. Robert's eyes opened in surprise, he knew that it was going to get messy pretty soon. Before that happened, Robert said to them "Take it outside, just out of respect for Lou." It really wasn't any of his business, but he loved Lou and felt that people should respect him. This wouldn't be the first brawl that had occurred here. Getting up from his school, Robert walked to the door and opened it, while saying "Come on." He wanted to watch this, it seemed like it would be interesting. He walked across the street and leaned against the building, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it, commencing to smoke it.

Post by Soldier of Fortune May 14th 2012, 5:38 pm

Lou's, New York, New York: Though "Soldier of Fortune's" face would never express it, she was shocked by the fact her target had shown up to the bar. Seeking her out no less.... And that fact she didn't pick up on it until he had a jump on her.... "Inexcusable" she thought to herself, while cursing the apparently bad connections she had made in the city. It was part of what she hated about setting up shop in a new city, it seemed good, trustworthy connections were growing steadily in shorter supply. Someone had sold her out...... "And that person will pay with their life...." she thought to herself, fuming under the surface of her calm and beautiful exterior.

Their was however a much more immediate problem, and that problem sat next to her at the bar. Addressing his statement, "Soldier of Fortune" calmly said in her near British accent "Nothing personal..... Jobs a job.... Your head pays well...... And I have expensive tastes......". While she spoke her left hand slowly came to rest on the concealed holster for her HK USP pistol on the left leg of her black leather pants. She didn't want to kill the man where he stood in the bar, but you could never be to careful. Though something told her that if he could find her in the haystack that is New York City, killing him wouldn't be so simple....

She listened to Robert speak, then said "Outside it is..... If my new found friend is in agreement??". When "The Perfect Soldier" showed no complaints the group began to move outside, but not before "Soldier of Fortune" reached in her brown leather jacket and pulled out a $20 bill. The girl then downed the last of her jack on the rocks, and put the bill under it. When the bartender/owner Lou turned around to clean the her spot, she confidently winked at him, saying "I'll be seeing you around Lou.....".She then turned to Robert and "The Perfect Soldier" and said "Ladies first right???? Great....." and began to lead them outside of the bar.

Once the bar she noticed nearly all the patrons had emptied into the street...... They wanted a show..... And she intended to give them one... She waited until "The Perfect Soldier" was out of the bar, then asked "Weapons or no weapons??".

Jade of the Triad Empty Re: Jade of the Triad

Post by Romulus Emanuel Mercury May 16th 2012, 5:26 pm

Leonardo inside was laughing at her obvious anger as he took another sip of his vodka but on the outside he was still the stone cold, expressionless soldier he was borne to be. When she answered him finally he watched her hands fall to where her gun was and took another sip. “Yes, well so does yours.” He took a final sip finishing off the drink and nodded to the bartender and the man who suggested they take it outside as he set a twenty down on the table paying for his drink and a little extra for the blood that was soon to end up on the outside of his establishment.

He stood up and nodded his head at the ‘old man’ and followed her outside hands in his jacket pockets. “Thanks,” he said to the guy holding the door open to them, not knowing much about the man besides he was the one who suggested they take the ‘fight’ outside and held the door open. Though that was mainly because that man was not whom his target was. His true target was the over confident girl who was leading them outside. The girl whom possibly, no more than possibly, knew absolutely nothing about him because there were no records of him anywhere in existence; he knew because he had checked. To the world it was as if Leonardo Cratus did not exist, that there was no man alive with that name walking the streets outside of Lou’s bar at this moment. In short it was as if he was not real at all, but he knew just how real he truly was and had taken many bullets to the face that proved he was.

He looked over at her, ignoring the people from the bar who came out to follow. They were not a part of this ‘battle’ though soldiers and veterans they may be this was one fight they would not fight in. He would not harm innocent human civilians especially those who had served in the military and already put their lives on the line for this imperfect world they lived in. “Guns,” he replied quickly pulling out his already loaded Glock .22 pistols, though tonight he had them loaded with normal bullets, and flicked off the safety on both as he pulled them out. He fired two quick shots from each of the guns and didn’t move a muscle besides the ones he needed to do so. He had confidence in his abilities and genetics, he was the perfect soldier, a human with the genes to keep going even after he was shot down. He was the next step in evolution for his race and was going to prove it once again. In the end all super humans would fall to his guns.

Jade of the Triad Empty Re: Jade of the Triad

Post by Dylan May 17th 2012, 2:01 am

Everyone spilled out of the bar, except for Lou. He wanted to watch from the safety of his bar because he knew that these fights could get a bit out of hand. Just a few months ago, Robert had the pleasure of being in a few of those overboard fights, he decapitated a guy right in front of the bar. He did it relatively easily too. The men had grew to respect him before then though, as they had seen a few of his earlier brawls. They understand that he could be a cold-hearted, ruthless bastard depending on the situation.

The college kids, Drew and Aaron, approached Robert. They were apart of the army and despite their young age, weren't strangers to combat. "What are they fighting about? Is it something stupid like spilled vodka on her or something?" asked Aaron with a raised eyebrow. Robert gave each of them a cigarette, he knew they would want one. They started smoking immediately. "Nope, not even close. Basically, they were both assigned to kill each other. He found her first, I don't know how, but he did and now here we are." said Robert in a matter of fact tone. All three of them stood idly by, waiting for the guy to come out. Everyone had gathered in a circle and started making bets on who they thought would win. Personally, Robert didn't really care who won, he just wanted to see a good fight.

The guy came out and the girl asked him about the terms of the fight, all he said was "Guns." and fired four shots. All's fair in love in war. If the girl was as fast as Robert, she would be able to dodge them with ease, but he didn't really know of any of their abilities, so he had to just observe. "And now we begin." said in a puff of smoke.

Jade of the Triad Empty Re: Jade of the Triad

Post by Soldier of Fortune May 24th 2012, 3:34 pm

Outside of Lou's Bar, New York, New: "The Perfect Soldier" was fast, very fast. He quick drew his double Glock's faster then anyone...... Normal.... Could. But then again he was far from normal.... And so was his target, "Soldier of Fortune". She was unsure what to expect from "The Perfect Soldier", his speed certainly catching her slightly off guard. However she had bled many hours in grueling training and genetic experiments to learn to adapt to the unexpected... If she wasn't ready at first.... Surely she was now.

Reacting quickly to the four rounds fired by possibly her toughest opponent yet, "Soldier of Fortune" quickly pushed back with her legs and the heels of her feet. The result, her body crashing to the ground behind where she stood. The gun for hire narrowly missing the bullets. Within the same motion that brought her down, she unsheathed two ninja stars, and fired them in the direction of "The Perfect Soldier". The ninja stars were the favorite silent assassination tools of the Triad, so "Soldier of Fortune" was as proficient with them as she was with nearly all weapons.

Her back now on the ground, she quick drew her dual HK USP's, pointing them towards "The Perfect Soldier". She knew her quick reactions had gained her the favor of the crowd, many of whom were slightly in awe of her quick moves. Using the time the thrown ninja stars afforded her, and ever the show women, "Soldier of Fortune" jumped to her feet. She laughed and said "Is that all???"... The crowd clapping at her showmanship and quick reactions.

Leonardo watched as she pushed her body back and down against the ground, he was impressed with her reactions and then when the ninja stars were thrown at him he only smirked putting his arm up and letting them cut into his flesh. It hurt, and it hurt bad, but he quickly holstered one gun and pulled them out, dropping them on the ground and shaking his head waiting for her to get up, because the wounds immediately healed when the stars were taken out. She was quickly back upon her feet and taunting him but he cared little for what she said or the crowd thought. He knew in the end it would be her down on the ground dying as he ended her misery by putting a bullet through her skull.

“I’m just getting started, try to keep up though.” He said spinning the gun out of its holster and firing two shots at her head and then with the other gun firing two shots where he knew she would dodge, or hopped really from her last little show off move. This girl was skilled he’d give her that, possibly even more so than him, but she was too confident in herself. She showed off, thought no one could defeat her and that would be her ‘Achilles heel’ so to speak. After the two bullets were fired he stepped closer to her making the distance about ten yards now, nearly impossible for anyone to dodge a bullet maybe even her, only time would tell though. That time came quicker than she would think as one more bullet was fired off at her.

Robert watched and not going to lie, he was actually impressed. And not by just the woman for her showmanship, but also the man for his strategy. The man had a pretty quick draw, but the woman had even quicker reactions. The woman was a showy fighter and the crowd always loved a fighter of that sort, but she was a little too cocky. That could possibly lead to her downfall. He was observing both of their fighting abilities and other superhuman abilities and from what he could tell, the man was a superb user of regeneration, he was obviously of the highest order. His wounds healed instantly.

"He's looking to end this quickly, he's closing the range and shooting at her where he knows she's gonna dodge. He's all business and no bullshit. Smart guy. She, on the other hand, wants to make a show out of it." whispered Robert to the college guys in a slightly impressed tone. He took another drag of his cigarette and watched the fight a little more, waiting for something phenomenal to happen, which the woman would probably cause. Though any attack she would use might be useless as he could regenerate himself in the blink of an eye. It's not everyday that you saw an attractive woman getting into a fight outside of Lou's Bar with a badass soldier.

Outside of Lou's Bar, New York, New: "The Perfect Soldier" planned his attack well.... Acting on instinct and years of training, "Soldier of Fortune" back flipped away from the bullets fired at her head. This while at first seeming like an incredible feat of reactions and skill, was really what "The Perfect Soldier" had planned all along. As "Soldier of Fortune" had just flipped into the superhuman soldiers trap, "The Perfect Soldier" firing several shots where "Soldier of Fortune" had just landed, the ambush had been sprung......

If "Soldier of Fortune" was worried at the outset of the fight, she most certainly now was.... As the two bullets rocketed towards her, she only had a split second to react, dodging the first bullet in an extreme show of skill and athleticism, then letting the second graze her left arm. The bullet tearing the leather of her expensive brown D & G jacket, cutting her arm as it grazed her skin. Incredible Skill mixed with a little luck playing a crucial role in the assassin dodging a killing blow from the soldier. Ever the showman, she simply brushed off any worry or concern about the soldier, looking down at her arm in an annoyed manner, she yelled ""This is my favorite jacket!!!!!! Now look at it......... Ruined!!!!!! Now you're gonna die!!!!"

To those in the crowd closely watching, "Soldier of Fortunes" wound began to heal, slower then "The Perfect Soldier's", but healing none the less. She smiled a coy smile at "The Pefect Soldier", then began to take her leather coat off. Throwing the coat to the ground revealed "Soldier of Fortune" carried a gold and silver katana on her back. Unsheathing it she confidently said "Time to have some fun.....". "Soldier of Fortune" then charged "The Perfect Soldier" slashing to land several quick blows before he could react. Using her beyond expert hand to hand skills to her advantage.

((his bullets work at 5 str just a heads up))
Leonardo watched as much as he could but even with his trained eyes he could barely see the scene in front of him being performed. She apparently dodged the bullets with ease even at such a close distance, or so he thought. For, it seemed she was not as quick as he had originally thought to believe, a trickle of blood running down from her shoulder. He ignored the taunt and angry yell that came from her and stood there unimpressed, reloading his pistols as she took off her jacket to reveal the slow healing, of the grazed shot. Then of course he noticed the sword upon the girl’s back and shook his head, most would say ‘ever heard of not brining a sword or knife to a gun fight?’ but not he.

Having seen this woman’s speed and reflexes he knew even with her swords against his pistols she’d be a deadly threat to face. As of now the only advantage it seemed he had was that he could kill her for she heals too slowly, but she would not be able to kill him no matter how hard she tried. At her words he readied himself for anything she had to throw or ‘slash’ his way. She was upon him fast, not super humanly fast though, but it was indeed fast. He had just enough time to lift up the pistol in his right hand and use it to block the first slash before the others cut into his body. Yet, as soon as she removed the blade to go and slash another part of his body the wounds healed.

When the last slash came down and back up he moved to the side and pulled the trigger on both of his guns, letting loose four bullets, the barrel of the pistols were just inches away from her skin and he was not planning on letting these four miss. Unlike her he was not a showman, he was a soldier true and through and he was following orders. He was told to eliminate her as quickly as possible and that is what he planned on doing so. Short, sweet, and to the point was how he did everything there was no reason to show off or act fancy when it came to the art of death and killing. This was a soldiers job and in this line of work, getting the job done quick was the only thing that needed to be done.
