Personality: When he was alive, Jacob was rather plain, but kind, and in his old age could be considered the ideal grandfather. cheery, sweet, patient, and understanding almost to a fault. However his long years guiding souls has left him tired and impatient, he's frequently cranky and could be mistaken for senile by the unaware. However, ever so often, the kindly old man that once was surfaces from beneath the scarred old veteran that he has become.

History: Jacob was born in Seattle, Washington and lived there his whole life, while alive he was little more than an average citizen and lived an uneventful and some might say BORING life. However, upon his death, Jacob met Charon; the ferryman who guided souls to their final judgement. Jacob happened to die at a rather inopportune time, that is to say, he died on August 6, 1945. The massive influx of souls in addition to the normal amounts were too much for Charon to handle and he was forced to give some of his power to several individuals in order to manage. In other words, Jacob just got lucky.

Powers: Styx has the power to break down solid earth or concrete/asphalt and convert into a soft malleable form that he can then control. He can do this in 30 foot radius around himself or a 60 foot directed attack, after that his power wavers and he loses control of the substance.
