Yes
I believe that Photon's array of knowledge would lead him to the conclusion that balance was the most important thing, even if he did wish to do good in the world. While he could certainly use his mind to help the organization, particularly brutal missions (IE involving torture, if there are any) he would be against participating in in-person.
Why do you want to join?
The world isn't all black and white, and sometimes there are jobs that need to be done that aren't particularly nice either. Maintaining a balance, even amidst all the chaos, is essential to the survival of any acceptable world system.
The name sounds cool! And besides that, I think Photon's interests coincide with Thrones' interests. Also, as a chessmaster himself, thinking 18 moves ahead is his modus operandi.
How will you be a service?
I can develop sophisticated programs and analyze large data sets looking for anomalies instinctually. By harnessing my gifts, I can also put up a fair fight and provide cover and protection at a distance. Knowledge can be a great asset, and it's something I can provide in spades.
Photon is a good planner and backup, making sure things are going according to schedule from afar or providing backup and support from afar.
Are you willing to fall into the ranks and take orders from your higher-ups?
Yes. There may be times when he has to go against his morals, and he accepts that though grudgingly. If he is forced to do something he is radically opposed to, however, there is a chance he will refuse.
He understands the organization's goals, and can probably figure out why any given target would need to be eliminated without having to ask questions, but he does have moral limits that he doesn't like to cross.
What position would you like?
A Knight or Rook would suffice.
As there are no strategist positions (or at least none available), Knight or Rook would do.

Depends on what you mean by fitting in? If you mean work together and try to make friends with the group then Hell Yeah I will!!! but that all depends on the people. There are just some people I might not be able to get along with.
I think The beast could fit in with the group but like he said it depends on the others whether or not he will fit in.
Why do you want to join?
I need money and unfortunately superheroing doesn't pay the bills. So I need to work somewhere to make some extra pocket dough and practice my skills.
Basically I wanted to put the beast in the place where people would least expect him to be. This was one of those places.
How will you be a service?
I'm the wildcard. You get me in I do my thing bada-bing bada-boom we done.
I couldn't put it a better way. Basically just send him in and he will do what needs to be done.

I require more funds and assistance to continue searching for my purpose.
I want to get Edge a source of income, as well as allowing him to be able to perform missions outside of his primary objective. It would help in the advancing of his character as well.
How will you be a service?

I am a highly intelligent cyborg with advanced weapons. I am able to download a large amount of information from the Internet and from my own personal database. This includes strategies, fighting styles, landscape information, and much more. I am a master of espionage, assassination, and sabotage. I am also a very able fighter, what you would refer to as a 'ninja'.
I would be willing to have Edge go on any missions he is asked to go on, and since he considers these high priority to his main objective he will complete them at all costs.

While most members of Thrones believe in the balance of the world, Shenk really doesn't care if things are too peaceful or too chaotic, he kills for fun. Not because it is what the world needs
Why do you want to join?
This little group of ragtag killers sounds like a grand way to have a little fun, traveling the world, making those who tip the scales suffer horrible fates, ooh it sounds just wonderful!
I feel that Shenk would do nicely in this organization since right now it seems that everyone in the group are level headed and just as the world needs balance between peace and chaos so would Thrones. Not to mention the job description states he's a special someone for special jobs...sounds right up his alley.
How will you be a service?
Was I not clear from before? Well then fine! I was raised by master-class assassins I was bred to do what I do and what I do I do exceptionally well. Heh...I do, that reminds me of the time I interrupted a wedding....good times.
I feel that Shenk will be service to Thrones not as a regular member, but as one who is called on for special occasions, when an assassination target is in need of great suffering.

Fall into Rank? Do I look like some military simpleton to you? As long as the work keeps coming and my body count continues to rise, i'm sure we'll get along just fine.
In all honesty, I wouldn't expect Shenk to stand at attention and take orders from anyone with a whole "What is your bidding my master" feel to it. He'd be more likely to come in with a "Who do I get to kill next?" vibe

Well its complicated but il try to give a very short answer to this.
I miss having a purpose, i came to earth a bit unprepared or at least not as prepared as much as i wanted to and lastly my skills are getting rusty.

Yes. I share many of my ideals with Thrones, most prominently bringing justice to corrupt higher ups and those who have committed crimes against the innocent.
He's got a lot in common with the Thrones philosophy, and already completes his self-appointed assignments by any means necessary.
Why do you want to join?
To make a bigger impact upon the world through my actions.
^This, and he can also borrow money to fund some of his more expensive ideas. Plus, he gets allies.
How will you be a service?
I am excellent with technology and assassination operations.
Give him some info, send him on a mission, and he'll take out the badguy without alerting anyone. 90% of the time, anyway. His technology will also help with Thrones' security, be it through more efficient cameras or better software.

Relatively, yes. Our Ideals are similar enough and the pay is acceptable since there's a wealth of information to be gained or taken back.
OOC: I'd imagine he should fit as he is the sort to fall under the mentality of the group, especially since goodness of heart isn't exactly his thing
Why do you want to join?
Well I'm an assassin and a thief, and I only care about knowledge as being power. Money is all well and good, but challenges and fun and adventure are much better currency. I deal in experiences because money is just a weapon to me. And from what I hear, The Thrones have opulence sure but they also have sencerity in their actions in a world where honor and reason have lost all meaning. Maybe just maybe they could make a difference and if they can, I want to be apart of it. Not to mention a library beyond compare.
And to be honest the world has become infected with self entitlement and unworthy people in power and the scales must be set in balance before we all topple over and there is not planet left to live on.
OOC: Well I have nothing to do with Orikami really because he's a mercenary for hire so to speak. he's smart and well known for getting the job done but he doesnt have it in his heart to be a villain and he's not a good guy either so he's somewhere in between. This will also give him some people to interact with on a regular basis which I enjoy and will allow me to have something for him to do a lot of the time rather than having a standalone character floating about only appearing once or twice, cluttering the board.
How will you be a service?
Well really that's more of a question for me to be asking in an altered sort of way. How will you use me? When one applies their mind to something, they can do essentially anything. My ability allows me to do almost anything I can imagine. My knowledge and ingenuity make me more of an asset than my powers do really and my ability to gather intel is...remarkable to say the least. I'll take any job that others believe I can handle and even those that seem beyond my reach, if only to suss out the limits I possess and I have no moral hang ups preventing me from action or hesitation.
OOC: Orikami is a very versatile individual both in and out of combat and a very quick witted character with a buttload of ingenious methods to accomplishing a task. His codes of conduct leave him with no care for 'right' and 'wrong'. He finds these to be societal constraints of moral ambiguity that have no real meaning when all of existence functions on a razors edge of order and chaos. Not to metnion he's skilled and even when not using his abilities, he has skill by word of mouth and physically andeven further mentally than your average thief or assassin

Depending on who they come from and with what intention. As long as the orders are sensical and not detrimental or clouded with emotional judgements, I don't foresee a problem, though I must admit I don't take kindly to having multiple bosses. The fewer people over my head the better, less potential confusion or drama or conflicting orders that could present a problem, and even easier to never get caught up in the old story of betrayal.
OOC: Yeah as long as he recieves orders that make sense and aren't over some sort of moral quandry he'll probably follow them to a T.
What position would you like?
I'd have a preference for the vacant First Knight position as I am both skilled and prefer to do missions while still holding a position of partial authority because I like being able to see all of the players and the machinations within an organization.

Yeah, I think so.
The morals of the group are a decent fit for my character, not evil, but not really good. He's also not one for causing trouble when he can help it. Even if there's someone in the group who he doesn't like he'd just bite his tongue and swallow his pride.
Why do you want to join?
To be honest, I need the money. My usual method of smash and grab for cash hasn't exactly been going that well and besides that, if I'm going to be doing this kinda stuff anyway I may as well be doing it for a cause and you guys seem alright.
My character needs a bit more direction and joining a group would help out with that.
How will you be a service?
Well...I can take down buildings if that interests you guys. I'm something called terrakinetic, means that I can move rocks, dirt, bricks and other stuff like that with my mind. But if you want something more than that...I'm not much of a hand to hand guy, but I can take a hit and my aim's pretty good.
He'll do whatever he's told to do and while lacking much in the experience department he's a skilled fighter.

Yes, I've got no problems taking orders.
And he won't, as long as the orders don't go into any extremes that push what his morals allow him to do, even then unless it's really extreme the most that you'd get is some initial hesitance.

Pawn I guess, but if you guys want me for anything else that'd work too.
He lacks the experience, intelligence and character to be anyone of any real standing in a group. He's also not exactly the ambitious type, he'll work hard and do whatever's asked, but leadership roles or even anything much past support roles or basic jobs wouldn't suit well.

I believe Jinx could be an amazing asset for tracking persons of interest, getting past security and gathering evidence where needed. I also believe that her attitude would make for some fun RP opportunities.

- (OOC: I guess since you want both OOC and IC responses, I will set the Black Angel up for how she's in the position to be asked the questions in the first place. Hope that's cool!)
For the Black Angel playing along didn't always mean getting along, as she was a bit of an alpha type who preferred to dominate as opposed to be dominated. Perhaps it was due to Dragon Head and the Triad's total domination over her during her days as a brainwashed Jade Assassin, who was simply bent towards whatever will Dragon Head and the Triad chose. It also could have been due to her hard scrabble upbringing, even the self centered personality a mercenary had to have in order to not only survive, but also to profit in a combat situation. Times were changing however, and so was she, as she was fast finding herself ensnared in a much larger scope of things then simply war profiteering, and as such she found herself needing to adapt to these changes.
These days, the Black Angel found herself walking the line between a ruthless avenger and an antihero, as she focused her efforts from war profiteering to dismantling the Triad Underground Society, as well as helping the Chicago PD investigate the South Side Ripper case. Did she view herself as a hero? In short, no.... But the Black Angel was certainly well aware of the fact that she was doing what other so call "Hero's" would not in order to make the world a safer place. This was the reason she'd come back from the dead, this was the reason she'd been given a second chance, to do what was necessary to bring those who brought society to its knees to justice.
It was fast becoming clear to the Black Angel however that the world was becoming to big and dangerous of a place for her to continue on as a freelance avenger. The bigger the fish she would take down, the more sharks would enter the water to come after her. With the Triad and numerous gangs after her, the Black Angel needed allies more then anything.....
This was certainly why she was more then interested when she'd heard through an old source that a legendary group in assassin circles.... Thrones was interested in recruiting more members. With a little initiative, and a fair amount of digging, the Black Angel was able to arrange a time to apply to the truly feared group.

(Yes/No) (OOC: Yes! I have a lot of original idea's, am able to post in a timely manner, and work well with other people.) IC: Yeah.... I've been trained to be an assassin since I was a girl in the Triad's Jade Program.... That was my first taste of the life... Once I escaped the Triad I went freelance as a gun for hire... Did tours in Africa, the Middle East, fighting communists in South America.... Recently I've been shooting the Triad out of Chicago, even the West Coast. I've got skills with a wide range of weapons, hand to hand combat, intel gathering, and I'm a fast learner.... I'm tenacious, and I won't stop until the target is eliminated and my mission is accomplished.
Why do you want to join?

(OOC: I want get involved in some broader RP's, also working with some of the sites best players is a bonus ; ) IC: The world needs those who can fight evil with evil, yet at the same time remain above motivations of a villain. This is what I've been doing in Chicago, it's what Thrones seems to be all about, and it's what I want to devote my life to.

Davik's goal is to keep balance in the world, which is one of the beliefs of Thrones. Davik will fight to keep the balance.
How will you be a service?
Davik is a Martial Arts master in 9 different Martial Arts and is still learning. He has a photographic memory which can help for intel missions.

IC: In such a chaotic and unlawful world, if the authorities fail to keep balance, someone must, and you people have the right ideals, the right resources, and the right amount of discipline to do the job.
OOC: This group seems to have some really good RPers, the goals interest me, and I think Jean is a good fit for the Thrones.
How will you be a service?
IC: I have long surpassed mortal men in combat ability, strength, durability, and finesse. I would swear my blade to you my Queen, and with it smite your enemies. I have magical arms and armor that are of great strength, and can further your cause.
OOC: I am pretty consistent with my writing quality, love RPing, and would love to work with you guys to make it fun for everyone!

OOC: Yeah, I can do what others tell me to, but I WOULD like a bit of a higher role. Nothing TOO fancy of course.

IC: You would do me a great honor in the position of First Knight, however, I would swear fealty to you under any role.
OOC: First Knight, Knight, Rook, Rook and First Knight preferably.

IC: "As a knight sent out on his selection year it is mine duty to defeat any worthy opponent I do come across and by joining this group I believe I shall be able to do so that much easier. Not only that but I do so believe that this group if thine has mine own morals and ideals."
OOC: The group will be a great way for Red to get into the role play and really make way for the true idea behind the selection year, finding a wife and doing it through defeating all that look to be of a challenge. Well that and Thrones has always interested me.
How will you be a service?
IC:As a knight I am bound to serve my Leigh lord, or in this case queen, and will be willing to carry out all of your orders without hesitation. I am skilled in the art of sword fighting and unarmed combat, yet not only that with my parentage the Egyptian 'god' Set I have the ability to control Lightning and direct it at a fairly high voltage.
OOC: Pffft it's me how can I not be of service? You know when I'm actually active and all that is.
