A normal bar in New York City? (closed to UE)

Leonardo Cratus was at a bar, not a rundown old crime crowded bar, but an actual bar that was somewhat normal by the standards of humans. He was near the back in the smoking section having a Cuban cigar, which did he mention how hard they were to get these days, and leaning against the booth. He was thinking about all that had happened in the past month or so he could actually remember while the club was playing a good sounding song. He of course didn’t know it but the song was, Fun.: We Are Young ft. Janelle Monáe or something of that sort he wasn’t paying much attention. From what he could remember he woke up in a bed about a month earlier, fought with some heroes and a caveman as well as a magma rock monster thing.

Then life kind of slowed down from that point, sure he still wanted to rid the earth of all super-humans for whatever reason but it was the only thing keeping him going. That thought and that thought alone was what kept him getting up in the morning, it was the only thing he could hold onto and in the end he would complete that goal even if he had to die a hundred times to do it. He let out a puff of smoke to the cigar as he opened his eyes to look around the bar the music still playing over the stereo or whatever it was called. He let the cigar hang in his mouth as he moved his hand down to his inside jacket pockets just making sure his two Glock .22’s were still there and they of course were. Shaking his head he laughed silently to himself watching all the drunks in the room, he of course could possibly never get drunk which he intended on using to his advantage if he could tonight.

Leonardo was looking around the room for something interesting, something to give him a laugh or something like that when he saw something better. The girl was absolutely stunning, lovely legs, hair, face, smile, and hell she had it all and he could tell what she wanted. Sure, he figured she wanted him drunk or something like that but she would be disappointed or maybe even amused when she got a few drinks in him and found out she couldn’t put him under from them. His eyes met hers and he knew it was exactly what she wanted or something very close to it, taking a nice long drag he awaited her to get close enough and he let the puff out in a circle, going around her head.

He smirked slightly and nodded his head in greeting as she came in actual talking distance and spoke out to her in his lovely, yet somewhat voice he wasn’t quite a base but not much higher. “Hello beautiful, would you care to sit, have a drink, offer a name, or maybe dancing is your thing?” He asked with a raised eyebrow before speaking his, “The name’s Leonardo, but call me Leo.” He said giving his name, the hair cut and obvious toned muscles showing through the tight green shirt gave an appearance. An appearance that he was somewhat proud of, it was that he was perhaps an off duty military personal or someone in the military. Which technically he was but he couldn’t remember anything and there were no files on him ever existing so none of the branches, FBI, or CIA could ever call him back into service again. When he finished the sentence he took another drag on the Cuban cigar and then let out a small puff as he waited for the beautiful lady to either sit, give her name, or ask to dance.

Leo laughed slightly and took her hand as he stood up, “Then let’s dance.” He spoke smiling back, noticing the canines but not saying anything as of now. If he were on the job he would have put a bullet into her and asked questions latter but being off the market and just wanting some fun he let it slide. He chuckled when she swiveled her hips and swiveled along with her. When she put her arms around his neck he was going to put them around her waist then she backed up and threw her jacket off. He whistled lowly at her form and had his eyes quickly look her up and down, she was beautiful but not out of his league in anyway. He was a buff man standing at five foot nine, shaved ‘army’ short black hair and deep almost piercing black eyes. When she leaned in close to whisper in his ear he whispered back into her ear “To think, and have some fun, and you?”

Leonardo raised an eyebrow as she spoke, backing up, putting the jacket and hood back upon her body. When she walked away his mysterious black eyes met hers in the crowd which made him chuckle slightly. He followed her slowly to the door and then into the alley if only because she had caught his interest that particular night. When he got there she was already leaning up against a wall so he leaned up next to her. He had left to the bar tonight simply to think and float the night away but this woman had caught his interest and he would see if she was worth that interest. "So, it's such a lovely night, is it not?" He spoke so she could hear taking out two cigars and holding one out for her as he put his own in his mouth.

When she said thank you he simply nodded his head and lit his own cigar taking a nice long drag of it. Then she stepped forward up to him and this made him raise an eyebrow and even more so when she lifted her face up to his neck. He did not know what exactly she was doing but when she bit him his eyes widened for a second but he quickly regained composure and put the Glock .22 to her abdomen. When she spoke about the gun thing staring into his eyes he simply smirked and stared right on back. “I’ll move it when you tell me what exactly you are beautiful …and I want a true answer not some bull shit.” Leonardo Cratus spoke moving the gun back just a bit so it would get away from the dress but still close enough that the bullet would go through her in a matter of mere seconds and possibly kill her off right then and there. He looked at her straight into the eyes making sure she knew he was serious, sure she was beautiful but she seemed to be a vampire or that is what he assumed and he was not going to let her try and take the blood tonight. Besides even if she tried to bite him he would probably just heal the wounds and stick a gun to her again, there was no way he could die, or from what he’s seen so far.

Leonardo watched as she disappeared and reappeared about five feet away from him, he could have put an entire round into her right then and there but didn’t for once. She obviously wasn’t human so this was odd for him, usually he would have killed any super-humas, meta-humans, mutants and things of that sort. “I am not a superhuman, I am a human…not one of those fools I have no powers I just cannot be killed by normal means, I am an advanced human the next step in the evolutionary process.” He spoke gun still in his hand waiting for the fallen angle or vampire whichever she was to make her move. With what she said next he lowered the automatic pistol but not so much that she would be able to rush him without him able to shoot her before she got close. “Well as you see you won’t be getting any blood from me…” He muttered letting his eyes run over her body once more as he examined her wings and when she said to guess he simply chuckled, “Guess? Well obviously you are either a vampire or a fallen angle, perhaps both…so you are much older than you appear as well I assume.”

"I am not a super human, I am a human and though you think yourself better than us we are not an inferior race." He said speaking aloud to her so she could hear perfectly clear what he said. She may think she was better than he is or the rest of humans but he would prove her wrong if necessary, even if he had to die over and over again to do it. When she explained what she was he wanted to but a bullet through her right then and there and would have too but he didnt. The reason he didn't was because he needed to know more about her, learn her isolde and out to even know if bullets effected her. Thought two things were obvious, no three, she could fly, she needed blood, and thought herself better than humans jut like the rest of them did. Oh it despised him to let her live ilevem as beautiful as she was but if he wanted her dead he'd have to keep his ever mysterious, stone cold face on and go along with it or now. He put the gun up back in his jacket inside pocket and took a nice drag of the cigar. When she stepped closer he blew out a puff in a circle around her head and let the cigar hang in his hands between two fingers."Well if this were the movies then usually we'd either be at each others throats, sexually or in combat, or something would swoop in and go wrong."He said with a shrug taking another drag of the cigar, because sometimes a cigar was just a cigar.

Leo nodded his head and listened to what she said, mulling over everything knowing she was truly sorry. And to be honest sh hand offended him that much really he just didn't like his race being dissed. That or being calld a super and she had done both, so sh was lucky she is pretty. When she laughed at what he said he chuckled as well a the reply, then took a couple more drags of the cigar, blowing a puff out over her head when she crept closer. He pressed the cigar into his palm putting it out and listens to her talk, the wound holy healed and cigar on the ground. He had his hand meet hers outing it to his face, "If you take the role of a random girl then I'll be fine with my role." he whispered back just as close as she was now but also paying attention to the rest of his surroundings. He didn't really know what we coming next to be honest, he figured one of two things though that shed either try to bite him again or try and get in his pants. Hell maybe she would go for both or something random and totally unexpected would happen and they would be naked at his apartment, or even more so they would be running after a robber or murderer or something of the sort. Except he wasnt really one to play hero that much, usually he was taking out the super powered beings.
