Personality: Skylar is what someone would call a ditzy person really, and with good reason. He isn’t the most graceful of people,usually ending up on his ass when it is the least suitable. Considers himself a good person and doesn’t think any other way about it. Though he may come off as an idiot, he is far from it and will prove anyone wrong if they think him to be one. Can be flirtatious to anyone he finds interesting enough, but that is a very few really; since he doesn’t really consider anyone good enough to like. That may make him seem conceited and that may be right, but he actually has a low view of himself. Since he doesn’t have the skills that his brother had,he thinks he will never be as good as him. So tries as hard as he can to prove himself if only to himself. He has a love for music and thus plays it in his spare time, mostly the electric guitar.

History: He was born to the average family with his older brother, Phillip James. His parents made the average salary and went to their average 9-5 jobs. While he tried to impress them with his grades in school, though they never seemed happy enough. As if he could never make them happy with what he did. So he tried to be like his brother, who didn’t really care about what his parents thought of him, and that didn’t really go well for him. He needed praise of some sort and all he got from them was “you could have done better.” So he eventually just gave up on impressing them and his school work began to suffer for it. Being only ten, he was unable to deal with the stress of such. So he took up the bow and arrow,one that his brother had lying around his room. So he took it and some arrows; starting to practice their uses.

He was bad at first but slowly became better with them as time passed on. Eventually he learned enough to hit the bull’s-eye about three times in a row with not too much trouble. He was the only one to find out about his brothers hobby of stealing from people for that extra pocket change he carried around. Though he ignored it as he went on with his archery practice, eventually talking his parents into getting him a professional tutor. Though he could learn nothing from any tutor out there; considering the amount of skills he managed to learn by himself.

It wasn’t long after his fifteenth birthday that he heard that his brother had disappeared. He was used to receiving letters from him for a time and then they suddenly stopped. It worried him to no end and because of that he decided he would start looking. Though with his limited funds he had no chance of doing a real search. The police couldn’t help considering the work he was into these days, leaving him at an impasse.
