”C’mon, champ! It’s nothing personal! It’s just that, you see, the purpose of the Destroyer is to, well, duh. Your purpose, on the other hand, is simply to be destroyed by me. And like this, we’re all fulfilling our purposes.”

Personality: Asura’s a man that simply enjoys what he does. Whatever it be, he will take pleasure in it, from helping an old lady to cross the street to butcher an entire building worth of people. Because of this, the only semblance of neutrality that he actually possesses is the fact that he restrain from killing unless it’s an order coming directly from his boss, Amon. He fancies himself as a well humored man, who often jokes around his daily activities and job and also trash talk during his jobs, but it only serves to hide his sadistic and destructive nature and his complete lack of empathy. In fact, self amusement is the objective of most of what Asura does and he is well aware of this. History: Hah! You want to hear a story, eh? So sit tight, kid, and let the Destroyer enlighten you. See this power? It’s actually a very interesting curse gone horribly wrong. A pathetic effort from a nameless warlock to punish one of my distant ancestors for some transgression he did. The thing is, it worked at first, and his life was slowly becoming miserable. That is, until he decided that he wouldn’t take this bullshit anymore, tracked down the warlock and killed him with his own curse! Hahahahaha! Either way, after that, he spent the rest of his life trying to control this thing, well aware that his descendants would share the same fate. He died with only a small margin of success, but was enough for his children. Generation after generation, they trained to control it. Trained really hard. So hard, in fact, that they eventually succeeded. This made them hella deadly, enough to get a living out of it. Now, a clan of murderers for hire is not that bad, believe me. I would know, I was born there. Since I was part of the new generation, I also needed to carry the family flag, so they trained to become someone capable of killing without blinking. I suppose it was because they were already on this business for a long time and it just got passed to me, but killing was never a problem to me. They might also say I had some loose screws and liked killing a little too much. Well, they would say that if I didn’t kill them all one night, haha! What can I say? One of the kids pissed me off, so I killed him, and it felt good. The others tried to stop me, so I killed them too. When I noticed, everyone were already dead, and boy that was one hell of a thrill! Anyway, it also meant that I had to move on with life. Fake my death, make It look like an extermination squad’s work and leave the country. Ended up using all the family’s money. Big problem. Now, normally I would be dead now, just like you’ll be in the next couple seconds, but I had the biggest luck of my life when I met Mr. Amon. He knew my preferences and liked it. Also, he was so difficult to kill that it intrigued me. I mean, when you have this power and you’re unable to lay a finger to someone then you know he’s not to be fucked with, but I respected that. He hired me as his personal hitman, and damn he gave me some fine jobs. Even made a kid kill his own parents with the curse. Classic! Now, if you don’t mind, I gotta head back to New York. So be a good boy and die, okay? |

Superhuman Durability: Asura was born with a bodily resistance way, way above anything that a human being should ever possess. This allows him to take extreme amount of punishment and soak most of it. Only extreme methods can actually damage him. Curse of the Absolute Destroyer: The most used power of Asura, and the reason for his title, is actually not an ability at all, but a terrible curse that afflicted every member of his clan. The objective of the curse is to inflict absolute pain on the victim, not unlike the famous “Touch of Midas”. Basically, it’s a highly destructive force that considerably weakens everything that it’s victim touch, normally with no control of the afflicted or warning. Since the mere touch is capable of weakening its target by a large extent, applying little force can completely crush more fragile objects (or persons). In layman terms, the curse merely apply a “weakening” factor in the object touched by its victim, making it easier for normal display of strength to damage them. What settled Asura’s clan apart from the rest of the curse victim was that it was that they were the only ones able to actually weaponize the curse and use its effect to their own means. In his case, by forcing the energy to physically manifest as dark purple smoke, Asura can cover any part of his body with that power, massively increasing his damage output by virtue of concentrating the full extent of the curse into a single spot (and target). Normally, the more strength put in the interaction, the stronger will be the effect of the curse on its target. Asura can also manifest the curse into his giant scythe, transforming it’s blade into a purple monstrosity capable of breaking something (or someone) much more efficiently than his own body. Of course, the man can use this method with any weapon he might enter in contact with. However, since the curse needs physical contact from Asura’s part to actually afflict things, he can only “enchant” weapons that also need physical contact to cause damage – as in, he can only use this method with melee weapons. What differentiates Asura from other miraculously users of the curse is that he managed to assume absolute control of it, suppressing it’s effect for as long as he desires. This also means, though, that he cannot force it to expand itself on the surrounding area since it needs a obvious lack of control. In addition, Asura can also curse others by piercing their body with anything “enchanted” by the energy, giving them the same “power” that he has, but with no control whatsoever. NPCs can only have up to 26 points with no stat being above a 7 though an 8 is possible under certain circumstances.

What are the requirements for application of a Boss-like NPC (the ones with 30-38 points in the grid)? I made both of them specifically for "boss fight" like interaction with the other characters, not only mine.
