Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Saul Fetteralf
Real Name: Saul Fetteralf
Super Hero/Villain/Renegade/etc Name: n/a
Title: The Devil
Alignment: Renegade
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Hair: Brown, reaching to just below his ears.
Eyes: Hazel
Height: 5'11
Weight: 160 lbs
Costume Description/Image: As a costume, Saul wears a brown canvas jacket over a plain black t-shirt, dark blue jeans, and black tennis shoes. All in all, a very unremarkable outfit. The most stand-out thing is his mask, a simple plastic Halloween devil mask. Not into the whole spandex thing, and not having enough money for a high-tech battlesuit, he figures what he has will make due.
Personality: Saul is nice. Most of the time. In his normal life, he is a customer service rep for a phone company. He likes talking to people, and he likes animals, especially dogs. He could never hurt anyone, no matter how much they wrong him.
That is, until he puts on his mask.
Hidden behind the veil of anonymity, Saul becomes a vicious, unrelenting person. Extremely self-righteous, he considers his views on crime-fighting to the be most just. If there is a criminal, he'll shoot. He's justifies it by thinking that they'll eventually go on to cause greater crimes, even if it was just a purse snatching. His method of crime fighting is very high-profile, and he knows it. Doesn't mean he cares.
History: Saul had an okay childhood, to say the least. His mother and father divorced when he was two, so any emotional problems stemming from that would not be able to be very well established. He switched between his parents during elementary and middle school. His father worked long hours in a factory, so most of his free time, he spent asleep. Saul never blamed his father, but it didn't mean he was happy with it. Time spent with his mother was nice, until she found a new husband. She doted on her spouse, leaving 13 year old Saul to keep himself busy. But meek, quiet Saul never said a word.
Into high school, Saul kept steady C-plus grades, except in law class, in which he excelled. However, the other students, as well as the teacher, noticed that when speaking about criminal matters, Saul would speak about how he thought every criminal deserves life in prison, no matter how petty the crime.
Right out of high school, Saul wanted to go to university, to study law. However, his grades were not enough to be accepted into law school. He promised himself that he would work until he got his grades up. Moving out of his mother's home, he took a series of dead-end jobs, Saul soon forgot about his dream of putting criminals away, focusing instead on the next pay cheque, the next rent, and the next meal.
However, in the summer of his 26th year, Saul was taking his garbage out to behind the apartments he lived. Lifting the lid, he saw a metallic glinting in the bin. Thinking it at first as a used appliance that outlived it's purpose, he nearly closed the lid and forgot about it forever. Until he noticed that the shining object was the barrel of a revolver. Instead of calling the police, he took it into his apartment. Over the next few weeks, he couldn't decide what to do with it. Finally, he just decided to carry it with him, until he could figure out what to do with it.
While he was walking in a back alley one night, taking a short cut home, he was accosted by a man, threatening him with a knife. He intended to rob Saul, and in defence, he pulled out his gun from an inner jacket pocket. He knew it was loaded, but regardless, he pulled the trigger, shooting the man with the knife. Saul panicked, running home before someone could come to investigate.
For the next several weeks, Saul thought over what he did. After the initial shock, he realized he saved himself, and maybe anyone else that the man would have attacked after himself. IT made him proud, regardless of the fact that the man was now dead. His thoughts of law and justice, which he hadn't thought of in years, suddenly came back to him. He decided now, however, to take law into his own hands.
He bought a mask to protect his identity, and for the next year and a half, he stalked the back alleys of his city, bringing criminals to his draconian, fatal brand of justice. For the first few months, the deaths were attributed to gang violence. However, after a while, the authorities became suspicious. Eventually, police presence heightened, and knowing he would be caught sooner rather than later, Saul packed up and left town, one he would never name unless asked.
Powers: Saul has no powers at all, and in fact, is not a very formidable opponent at all, if he did not have his revolver. He has no other weapons.

Character Image/Description: Saul is average in many senses of the word. He's fit for his height 5'11, and has the average body weight to match, about 160lbs. He doesn't show himself as very imposing, often slouching. His face is clean-shaven, his angular features devoid of any hair. His cheekbones are set high, and he thinks his nose is a little larger than average. His hair is medium-long, the brown locks reaching just below his ears.
His chin is close to pointed, and his neck is long and maybe a bit scrawny compared to the rest of him.
Roleplay Sample:
He had been walking around for what seemed like hours. It was quiet tonight. Just as well. He hadn't seen a soul for a long time. He supposed not many kinds hung out in the back alleys. He kicked a can to the side, sending it clanking until it was stopped by a back-alley stoop, leading to a door that looks like it hadn't been used in a long time. Many abandoned buildings were in this area, structures that people couldn't keep paying, and the city couldn't sell off or had any plan for. A few gang-members and homeless had begun squatting in the abandoned husks, but this one seemed completely deserted.
He moved to take a seat on the lowest step of the stoop, taking a break from his walking. He was about ready to quit, and just go home, heat up some rice and veggies, maybe watch some TV, and sleep for the few hours before work. His boss had noticed the bags under his eyes, and it's been affecting his attitude at work. Maybe he should just turn in early. He sighed, getting up, and begun on his way back to his apartment, through the winding alleyways.
However, about halfway home, he heard the sound of a scuffle. And then a woman's voice crying out. Almost reflexively, he reached into his left pocket, his fingers grasping for his mask. Slipping the red, smiling devil onto his face, he reached into his inner pocket, pulling out his handy revolver, his constant companion on the long walks through the alleys. Once he was armed, he proceeded quickly, taking turns through the interconnecting alleys until he found the source of the screams.
A thuggish looking man was grabbing a woman by the wrist, yanking her closer to him. "C'mon, babe," he said, "how about I show you a good time?"
The woman pulled away, trying to take her arm back. "H-help! Help me!" she screamed, kicking at the man's shins.
Her assailant laughed. He obviously had an advantage over her in strength and size. He slammed her against the alley wall. "Now we're gonna have some fun," he growled, beginning to reach a hand under the woman's skirt.
At this point, Saul had assessed the situation, understanding what the man intended to do. He walked closer to the two, and raised his voice, muffled under the mask, "Hey!"
The man looked up, obviously taken aback. Saul had the gun behind his back, so obviously it was the mask. After a few seconds, the man gruffly snapped, "What you want, freakshow?"
Saul let the man finish his sentence before bringing the revolver out from behind him. He moved closer, and raised the gun, cupping his other hand on the handle to steady it. He fired off two rounds at the thug, one biting into the man's sternum, the other burying itself in his forehead, before the back of his head burst open in a spray of blood and brain matter. Unfortunately, the woman he was rescuing got showered in it. She simply fell to the hard ground of the alley, eyes wide. Not saying a word, Saul span around, running away. Like he always did. Believe it or not, he figured out it wasn't a bad idea to stick around a crime scene.
Once out of the woman's view, he ripped off the mask, burying it in his pocket. He threw the gun into his other one, speeding up once they were secured. Soon, he was at his apartment. Panting heavily, he dug into his pocket for his keys. Once he got them, he opened the door quickly, closing it behind him. He climbed the six flights to his room, a one bedroom deal in the middle of downtown. Wonderful view of the smoggy skyline.
He closed the door behind himself, locking it tightly. He took off his jacket, throwing it over the small couch. He took a few deep breaths. He felt like having to vomit, and he was shaking. And it wasn't just from the run. Even after almost five months of this, he still wasn't used to it.
Even for the right reasons, killing someone is hard.

Re: Saul Fetteralf
Golly, you certainly have a well written character, but he seems rather underpowered.
i suggest bumping his STR and SPD to to so he's an average human, and maybe his INT up to 3 but just my recommendation if your fine with it then i can approve.

Re: Saul Fetteralf
Okay, I upped the Strength and Speed stats, but I'm content with the Intelligence. Thank you for the advice! I greatly appreciate it.
