Costume Description/Image: Vincent utilizes two different primary costumes. When conducting business in a civilized fashion, he simply wears a black suit with a red shirt and tie, usually with a black overcoat for chillier weather, and an ornate Domino mask to conceal his identity. On the other hand, when fighting alongside his private army, (La Nouvelle Humanité) or any other situation that requires a bolder approach he wears a high tech, exoskeleton suit, which offers ample protection from bullets, shrapnel, and blunt impact. The suit also utilizes nanomachines to subtly enhance strength. The suit is not without its flaws, it is quite cumbersome and the machinates can be tampered with, reducing stength and endurance.

Personality: Atlas, simply put is more brains than brawn. Atlas fancies himself the puppet master and the world his marionettes. He is cool, dry, and sardonic. When provoked however, he becomes a zealot, passionate about his ideals and who he is. Atlas is also known to manically quote literature from various time periods, probably in an attempt to instill fear into his enemies, but often it comes of as egoistical. Atlas is also fervently politically minded. Atlas attempts to change the world to suit his ideals through both legal and illegal means. Atlas is very strategic, playing out his projects like a game of chess. Atlas is an ideologue. His entire purpose as a Renegade is to eradicate exploitive labor, political corruption, and war privateering.

History: Vincent was the heir to one of the largest Defense Contractors in the Country. His father Richard, founded and ran Daedalus Research. For most of his life, Vincent was sheltered from the harsh realities that surrounded him. Instead of facing reality, he was bred to become like his father, sole proprietor of Daedalus Research. He was content with the prospect until he discovered what his father had been doing for the US Government all along. Many of the modern and terrible weapons used by superpowers around the world were developed by his father's company. Vincent became disgusted by this fact. He had no intentions of becoming a merchant of death. Vincent began to isolate himself from his rich and powerful family, reading radical political literature becoming more and more radical himself. Eventually, Vincent discovered why Humanity was spiraling down into the depths of war torn hell, war was profitable, men were corruptible. Vincent's solution was simple, he would have to weed out and destroy any man or corporation who made money off of war, any politician who stole, lied, or cheated, or any slave driver who exploited his fellow man, they would receive no quarter. Vincent would finally have the means of executing his solution when his father passed away from illness. Vincent immediately sold over 3 quarters of his father's company, saving only the R&D department. With gadgets being manufactured, and enough money to hire a small army, Vincent created his own private military, La Nouvelle Humanité or The New Humanity, which would bring Vincent's goals to fruition. Vincent also donned the title of Atlas, to conceal his true identity. Like the Titan Atlas, he would hold the world upon his back, preserving it from the reckless Capitalism that constantly threatned it.

Powers: Atlas has no “Super powers” per se. However he does possess a very strong mind and a very silver tongue. Using his strategic way of looking at World events, he can subtlety slip his fingers into those affairs and quietly manipulate them. When Vincent is not under the guise of Atlas, he is an extremely charismatic philanthropist. This charisma also helps him when he is Atlas to rally troops and freedom fighters to his various causes.

Equipment: Since Atlas has no offensive super powers, he must rely on weapons for defense. For long range attacks he uses a FAMAS assault rifle with standard bullets. For a more elegant, closer encounter, Vincent utilizes a High Frequency Rapier. The HF Rapier is a modern take on a classic weapon, made of carbon steel, and charged with a very low electrical current which causes it to resonate at high frequencies, which in turn heats the blade up, making it a devastating thrusting weapon. The rifle itself is standard issue, usually meant for use on less than super humans. The Rapier however, due to its ability to resonate, allows it to easily puncture most types of body armor such as kevlar, and even some types of metal. That being said, the blade is a purely thrusting/parrying weapon, making it impractical when slashing is required.

The huge cargo plane cut through the still, humid, jungle night air. The side of the plane read, LNH. Inside was a group of ten soldiers, armed with rifles and high tech armor. One stood out above the rest, Atlas.

“Name?” Asked Atlas.

“His name is Andres Vasquez, leader of the Nicaraguan Resistance Front.”

“Given funds by Uncle Sam to keep Communist rebels out of the back lawn by any means necessary.”

“That's him Atlas. Responsible for thousands of deaths.”

“It's time we put a stop to it. These people should be able to rebel against whatever they want. US interests be damned.”

Atlas stood up, his exoskeleton suit gripping tightly against his chest. He checked the clip on his rifle and then turned to the troops behind him.

“Vasquez is to be taken alive,” Said Atlas in a commanding tone, “We can use him to expose imperialism in this part of the world.”

The red light in the cargo bay suddenly turned green and the large cargo bay door slowly opened.
Atlas began to shout over the gale force winds, “Squad A you are to liberate the workers, seize weapons and intelligence, and secure the factory until extraction. Squad B is with me, we're taking on Vasquez's stronghold. Check your parachutes and get ready to roll gentlemen."

Atlas then grabbed his rifle by the handle, took a few deep breaths and charged out of the back of the cargo plane. Once more into the breach.

I meant in the level of INT used to power the weapons, like EP items use INT as a measure of how powerful they are. However, only a single item is capable of having your full INT to power it.
