Personality: Cherry is basically the girl next door kind of girl. She is sweet, kind and thoughtful and is absolutely beautiful. Having had her string of boyfriends and heart breaks she no longer wants to let anyone in and has built up an emotional wall to stop people from doing so. However, this girl still knows how to have fun. Cherry has a great sense of humour as well, although at times people fail to see this and see it her as being mean to them. Cherry's main passion is signing there is not a single day that goes past where she does not sing. Finally the most important thing about Cherry is she is loyal she would stop at nothing to defend and protect her friends, even if it means landing herself in danger.

History: For the majority of her life Cherry lived a very normal life in the Big Apple, New York. Her father was a lawyer and her mother was a kinder garden teacher. She had all the support in the world from both her friends and family. At the age of fifteen things began to take a turn for the worse. On a trip to the bank with her mother a robbery took place. Her mother, being the kind and gentle person that she is, tried to reason with the robbers to let Cherry go free. But this did not bode well with the robbers who shot her at point blank range, killing her instantly. Cherry was utterly devastated by her mother’s death but did not let her deep depression take over her life. She and her father worked together to support each other through the extremely tough times and managed to see the culprits of the robbery be sent down for life.

Unfortunately for Cherry this did not help her come to terms with her loss. She was still motherless and desperately wanted the great bond she had with her mother back. But deep down she knew it would never happen. Eventually after years of heartache she finally found solace in music. At the age of seventeen she began to write her own music, which she was tremendously good at doing. After three years she had penned together an album, which told the story of the hard times she had gone through trying to come to terms with her mother’s death and her dad’s battle with alcohol.
However it was not meant to be, the record producers in L.A and New York were just not interested. But Cherry soon learned that every cloud has its silver lining. After a jazz club owner heard her singing on the street he offered her a trial at his club and after a week offered her a permanent spot at his club singing her own songs.

Her opening night attracted hundreds of people, her father being one of them who had just beaten his addiction with alcohol after a stint in rehab. He had never been prouder of her and she was just as proud with him. For Cherry everything seemed to be going so well, her father was doing great and so was she. She had finally gotten her life back on track. She sang for two long years at the Jazz club up until one tragic night.

Cherry was performing at a jam packed night in the Jazz club. Little did she know that the Jazz club manager, Brian, was in humungous amounts of debts and had gotten into deals with some dodgy people. Unbeknownst to her the gang had riddled the jazz club with explosives and when Brian could not make another payment they set them off. Initially making it out of the building alive, she soon realised that there were many still trapped. Ignoring the demands of the fire brigade to stay away from the building Cherry could not stand by and watch people die. She bolted back into the building before the firemen could stop her and set out to save the lives of people she knew were still inside.

Cherry managed to save more than fifty people by helping direct them to the clear exit. However as she went back to save more people a beam from the stage fell on top of her, crushing her and preventing her from moving. She watched on helpless as the fire began to get closer and closer before eventually she fell unconscious due to the heavy intake of smoke.

Cherry awoke to find herself restrained to a bed; she began to panic and to her surprise broke free of the leather restraints. She was confused and dazed and did not know what had gone on at all. Her confusion and fear were intensified when a doctor entered the room with a syringe. As he tried to inject her, she shriek and to her horror watched on as he flew backwards and crashed off of the wall. After she ripped her leg restraints off she left her room and broke into the hospital records room. After locating her file she discovered that she had been mixed up with a girl only known as “Project XY”. After another doctor found her and calmed her down she was told that because of the mix up she now has super natural powers. She was also told that “Project XY” was created to create a new super hero that would help protect the world from the evil villans that were becoming more of a national security problem. From then on Cherry has sworn to help protect the world, but mainly New York, from any evil threat that comes to the city. Equipped with her new abilities Cherry was taken to a secret facility in order to master how to use her abilities and trained in various combats such as tae-kwon-do and Jujitsu. Since then she has helped protect the world from the villans that continue to try and cause harm to the innocent civilians that walk the earth.

Super Strength - Cherry poses the power of super strength. She uses this power to gain an advantage over her enemies and with her great fighting skills can easily dispose of the weakest henchmen and villans. At first Cherry found it extremely hard to control her strength and at one point nearly killed a man by accidently hitting him when she was dancing in a night club once. But as time has progressed she has managed to gain a better understanding of her strength and finds it a lot easier to control.

Sonic Scream - She can reach ultrasonic frequencies outside the audible spectrum which render human beings unconscious. She uses this power to destroy objects and also to stop opponents from reaching and in extreme cases blowing them away from her. However if her mouth is covered the sonic scream will no longer work.

Roleplay Sample:
“HELP, HE’S STOLEN MONEY FROM MY SHOP!!”

The shop keeper frantically waved and pointed in the direction of the running culprit. Onlookers dodged in terror as the man forcefully shoved through the crowd. He turned into a side alley way hoping to be unnoticed. But that was not the case. As he ran towards the end of the alley way, hoping to hide he was surprised to see a woman in gold standing there. Her face hidden by an eye mask he shrieked in shock at her sudden appearance.

“Now, honey, we all know this isn’t going to end well for you…So here’s your one and only option hand over the money and we can all for-“

Before she could finish speaking the culprit whizzed around and started to run in the opposite direction.

“Oh boy, he had to take the hard way didn’t he?”

At that the woman shrieked and clenched her fists as a sonic beam erupted from her mouth. The wave powered along the alley way, lifting papers off of the ground and moving bins away from her. The man screamed as he was lifted off of his feet and then proceeded to face plant himself of the muddy gravel. The mystery woman walked over to him and crouched down beside him and flicked her hair behind her shoulder.

“Now I did tell you to take the easy way didn’t I?”

The man grinned as he flicked his feet around and tripped her up. She landed on her butt and shook her head in disapproval.

“Big mistake tough guy!”

She backward rolled back onto her feet and swiftly caught his fist in mid motion as he was about to punch her. He looked utterly shocked that she managed to stop his punch, as he was a rather strong man. She tightened her grip and watched as he shrieked in pain.

“Hand over the money!”

She tightened her grip a little more and this time he fell to his knees in pain.

“I SAID HAND OVER THE MONEY!”

“Arghhh…Ok here is is…Don’t hurt me!”

The man threw his bag at her and she caught it with her spare hand, letting go of her grip he slouched forward clenching his hand with his other one in pain. As her concentration was diverted for a split second the man tried to bolt for it. However he only managed to get to his feet before she sent a round house kick his way and listened as the impact cracked his jaw. He fell to the ground unconscious as she smirked.

“They always have to do it the hard way…”

A police car rolled up as she picked the culprit up and put him over her shoulder. She walked over to the policemen and handed him over before returning to the shop keeper and returning his money to him.

“Thank you, thank you so much!”

“No problem sir, the problem was all mine.”

She headed for the door trying not to draw attention to herself.

“Excuse me, mam, what is your name?”

She turned her head slightly too him and smiled.

“My name…My name is Starra.”

At that the mysterious woman, now revealed to be Starra, left the shop and disappeared into the crowd gathering to watch the arrest.
