Costume description: long-sleeved black shirt, leather pants, a belt to make sure the pants stay up... even though they would without the belt, black combat boots, black stretchy fingerless gloves.

Personality: Tends to be quite zen-like and philosophical; is fierce in combat, yet maintains a cool head, though he does contort his face to make it look like he's seething with rage. He tends to say Japanese, Chinese, and Indian metaphors quite often, which usually pertain to a larger focus. He is also rather impulsive and is not afraid to speak his mind.


History: The ninth son of a successful Bengali business owner, Byron was the lightest-skinned kid in his family... and the bane of his father's existance, for he is the result of an affair that his father had in a moment of weakness. Looked down upon by his normal family, he was forced to leave India to live with his great aunt Sarah in New York. She treated him like her own, telling him of ancient legends. But out of all the stories he was told, Byron's favorite was the story of the Quitiri, an ancient race of people who possessed the skills of animals, the most powerful of which being the Hedgehog.

Sadly, on his 16th birthday, Byron and Sarah got in an accident which left them in a car dangling off the edge of a bridge. Sarah helped Byron get out, but before she could free herself, a car, being driven by local gang members, crashed into the area and knocked the car off the bridge into the water far below, drowning his beloved aunt. Mad with fury, Byron suddenly ran after the car, and managed to get ahold of it. However, it wasn't long before they caught onto him, stopped, and got out to dispose of him. Byron tried to fight, but soon enough they had pinned him to the side of the car by his left shoulder. With a big, heavy combat knife. As the pain surged through his body, however, Byron suddenly felt himself... change. Ripping the knife from his arm, he charged at the thugs and initiated combat with them. However, this time, somehow, Byron was stronger
and faster than them... the men who had just seconds ago easily pinned him to a car. He managed to take three of them down, but the fourth one pulled another knife and was about to stab Byron when the boy turned around and slapped him... and gave the man huge facial gashes.


Startled, Byron looked at his hand in time to see long, silver claws sliding back into his fingers. And then he caught view of himself in the car's window. He had turned feral and animalistic, and looked more like Sonic than a reject Bengali. Startled, Byron rushed home, the knife still clasped in his hand. He realized now why his aunt had told him of the Hedgehog Quitiri.

He WAS one.

Powers: Can make himself "go feral", in which his eyes gleam brightly, his hair gets even more wild, and his face looks a bit more animalistic. He also has retractable silver claws, which project from his fingertips. Also, he does not need much sleep.
