Retaliate vs Pheonix Location: Riverside State Park Time: Midnight

Jason waited, in the woods waiting for his opponent. Jason worn a Black shirt with a skull logo with jeans, a black jacket and wore a ski mask to hide his identity. Jason had met a man by the name of Pheonix when he was patrolling. They both like eachother, but their ego had went into eachothers head. Right now Pheonix had challenged him to a fight, and Jason were to pick their location to fight. Jason decided that they will fight in Riverside State Park at midnight. Jason checked his watch, it was midnight, his opponent is a bit late. "Hurry up, I better not have stayed out in the cold and darkness for nothing", he said to himself.

"You had the balls to show up" laughed Phoenix. Well prepared for this battle in his full combat equipment. His usual face mask and favorite sword on his back. Black and red jacket but a bit longer more so a trench coat than usual. Phoenix stared his opponent down and said to himself "I can take him, I know i'm faster just gotta use that to my advantage." Years of training in different styles of combat had prepared Phoenix well for a full on battle like what was about to unfold. Phoenix unsheathed his sword off his back and took a stance. "You sure you want to do this?" he asked. Hoping his opponent would say yes.

Jason look up at him,"Of course I showed up, I've been waiting here in the cold you know.", he said."Of course I'm sure, now lets get started.", Jason said as he stand up in a fighting position.

Phoenix laughed at the kids attempt to shake him. "Alright ,let's do this" said Phoenix. He did a back hand spring and dashed at the kid. He stuck his sword in the ground, jumped off the sword, and swung a kick at his opponent.

Jason danger sense is activated and duck to avoid the kick,"You gotta try better than that.", Jason said."Now try to avoid this!", Jason said as he attempt to grab Pheonix in the air.

Phoenix pushed off the mans arm and did a back flip and grabbing his sword. "You're in over your head man." Phoenix took off his jacket just wearing a sleeveless muscle shirt. He jumped up in the air and dove down at the kid with a punch.

"Yeah, sure I am.", Jason said sarcastedly. Jason ducked and rolled out of the path of the punch,"Are you even taking this seriously? Come on! With this pace I'll be sleeping in no time!", he said tauntingly.

"If you sleep it will be easier on you" said Phoenix. He was now a little pissed and knew his surroundings weren't close to people. " I'll show you a little of my power". Fire started surrounding phoenix's arms. He blasted fire at the kid and dashed at him swinging his sword.

Jason was surprised, he easially dodged the blast,"Nice try!", Jason said. Jason danger sense kicked in, and he turned his attention on Pheonix who is dashing towards him with a sword,'Crap, to fast!', he toughted as he raised his forearms and his exoskeleton is activated and blocked Pheonix's sword.
"Now your talking!", Jason said as he turn his right forearm into a sword and deflected pheonix's sword away from him.

Phoenix felt himself losing control over the fire. "Crap perfect timing" He stopped his blasts did a handstand on his sword, spinning around a kick with fire around his leg.

Jason raised his left arm and form a shield,'Crap this fire is intense!', Jason thoughted. When deflected the kick from him, it left a scortch mark and a few small cracks. 'This guys alot tougher than I give credit for.', Jason thoughted. Jason charged at Pheonix with his sword and swung at Pheonix.

Phoenix ducked and went for a leg sweep. "Blade attacks are near useless my friend" smiled Phoenix. He realized his opponent wasn't as well trained as him in fighting, but his brute strength was impressive.

Phoenix pushed back off the ground and rolled out of the way of the blade. "Wow, just got a little to cocky" he said. Phoenix stood up and let a little more fire out. Now turning back towards the kid. "You're not bad at all, but let's see how you do with this." A dragon looking creature seemed to form out of fire around Phoenix. "I really have to focus when using this much fire" He said to himself. With a grunt Phoenix started to blast extreme temperature fire at his opponent. "let's see how he handles this" The fire surrounded the kid like a prison cell and closing in on Retaliate. Phoenix got started preparing for his next move. He pulled out his sword again. Fire started traveling up it. " I wonder if his limbs grow back" he thought to himself."

'Crap, I need to get out of here, quick!', Jason thoughted as the flames begins to close in and his danger sense is kicking into overdrive, telling him something really dangerous will happen.'Theres no way I can run, and I can't even jump over the fire.', Jason thoughted desperately and came up an is idea,'I can't go over them, but I can go under them.', he thoughted as he enlarged both his hands and made both of his fist into drills and began drilling and tunneling under the flames and surprise Pheonix,'Hopefully the dust will distract long enough to get out', jason thoughted.
