Broken Road

"When will things change?" Phoenix said to himself. He was sitting on a rooftop around his campus. "Help!" He heard a women scream. He looked down to see a women being violent assaulted by a very large man. In a fraction of a second Phoenix was behind the scum bag.
"Well now I've seen it all, and I've seen a man eat his own head" Phoenix said calmly.
" Mind your own fucking business kid" The giant guy said.
"Well, anyway I see it, as a human being it's my business to stop this." he said with tone, getting a little pissed at the arrogance of the giant man.
"You and your powers aint human at all." He said grinning. "What is it they call you again, firefly?"
"Shut your fucking mouth before I break every bone in your body."
"Hit a nerve, have I?"
"Nope, but i'm about to literally hit your nerve.."
"Ok pussy, let's see what you got!" the man said before Phoenix ran forward and hit the man in the stomach as hard as he could. He saw the man's eyes widen and blood fly from his mouth.
"Any more comments?"
"Yes, go fuck yourself!" He came around with a right hook. With no effort Phoenix caught it, spun the man around again, and smashed him in the face. The thug flew up against the wall and was seriously injured.
"Luckily for you, I don't kill people. Now sit tight, the police will be here any second." he said, looking over at the obviously in shock young woman.
"Come with me I'll get you home safe, not trying to pull anything."
"You're so sweet.." said the young women.As Phoenix got her to her front step she thanked him for saving her life.
"No problem at all, it's what I do."
"I know something else you can do..." the women said with a wink.
"Well then please explain!" grinned Phoenix. About an hour passed before Phoenix walked out smiling.
"I really got to start saving more people!" Phoenix laughed to himself.

After a long day out fighting crime for the city, the last thing Bryant needed to see was some strange guy walking out of his girl's house with a shit eating grin on his face; Didn't need his genius to tell him what went on in there. And Bryant was actually hurt. Sure she was a bit of a loose whore, but she was still technically his girl.
As he brooded on this, he began putting together a series of grenade type devices, planning a painful experience for this jerk. Once he had one armed he called, "Hey Bitch tits! Enjoy!" tossing one of the grenades into the air as a distraction before leveling his gun on the confused bastard and squeezing the trigger.

Phoenix wasn't expecting an explosive, but he trained with them enough to know what to do. In one swift move he jumped back flipped and dashed at the man preparing to tackle him to the ground. "What is your deal?" said Phoenix.
