Personality:
Adam Stetson is much more cold and aloof than he was in his childhood. He has grown out of his nervousness, but still has a fear of failure which can be exploited. Even though he has money and can buy almost anything in the world, Stetson is never happy, and always stoic and unflinching. The one thing that would make him happy is to kill the crime lord "Whitewall" with his bare hands. Even as his mild mannered alter ego Adam Stetson, he does not spend much time with his friends, and avoids parties when he can. As Adam Stetson, he rarely leaves his home or office, and continues to work religiously. As the Crimson Wraith, he is intimidating and imposing, and is almost always hunter crime. There is little difference between The Crimson Wraith and Adam Stetson's apparent personality.

Adam Stetson and The Crimson Wraith have two very different minds. Adam Stetson only wants to be at peace, and is often calm when talking to other despite his demeanor. The Crimson Wraith is much more vicious minded and will use everything at his disposal to fight crime. They are both quiet, but Adam Stetson is docile while The Crimson Wraith is aggressive. The Crimson Wraith's aggressiveness can often be a weakness. He can be goaded by others into a trap or can be cold to those he helps or that want to help. Adam Stetson can also be very cold, but with other people he will offer than shelter from danger in their times of need. The Crimson Wraith is arrogant at times especially when he is holding a person at arms length; this is true even when its a friend.

History:
Adam Stetson was born in Brooklyn, New York. His mother and father were Jenna and Avery Stetson respectively. Adam was a young military brat of his mother that served in the army. Because she was always stationed over seas, any connection between her and her son was cold and aloof. However Adam had a very close relationship with his father whom was a race car driver and engineer. Adam spent time with Avery in the garage where it was soon discovered that Adam had a quark for tinkering with mechanics and equipment at age six. As a young boy, he was always very nervous around others, and he would constantly blush before running away. In the second grade, young Stetson met a girl named Delilah Willard whom became his close childhood friend. Delilah gave Adam the nickname of "The Crimson Wraith" after a child's story she heard about a blushing ghost. Delilah was also enamored by fedora hats which she thought were beautiful. Stetson himself was puzzled by her infatuation with a man's felt hat. Adam Stetson ended up living with his friends and family in Brooklyn for the first sixteen years of his life.

Over the sixteen years, there was a great deal of changes in Adam's life. Young Stetson had proved to be incredibly intelligent, and ended up skipping the eighth grade and being in prestige classes from there on. His skills with tinkering began to flourish as he discovered he had adept hands. Delilah soon went from being Adam's best friend to his girlfriend and lover. However all of the changes in Adam's life were not positive. After an apparently highly improbably racing accident, Avery Stetson was placed into intensive care where he was in a coma. Jenna Stetson was forced to return home from over seas and take care of Adam. She was given the choice to take Avery Stetson off of life support which she chose to do. Mr. Stetson died several days later furthering the large hole between Adam and his mother. Adam forever blamed Jenna for the death of Mr. Stetson.

Only a month after this horrific event Adam saw more misfortune. Adam and Delilah were walking home from a special nighttime viewing of a Noir film The Big Combo; Delilah's favorite film. They went on the date to help Adam with the stress of his father's death. Delilah decided to wear her favorite white fedora on the date as well. Adam and his girlfriend Delilah were walking past the bank to return home. They discovered that a local crime lord known only as "Whitewall" had orchestrated a nighttime bank robbery at the bank that Adam and Delilah happened to be passing. Upon the henchmen making their escape, they shot both Adam and Delilah. The latter was shot in the head and killed instantly right in front of Adam. Then Adam was shot and left for dead. He fainted from blood loss before he realized Delilah had died.

Upon waking up in the hospital three weeks later, Adam was told by a detective that Delilah had died, and confirmed his fears. The case had gone cold and was left unsolved two weeks after the crime due to lack of evidence. With Adam awake the police thought he may have gotten a clue to who did the crime. Adam and Delilah were both shot from behind while running away after witnessing the initial escape, but Adam caught the appearance of all three; he did not catch the killer specifically though. All three ended up never found despite Adam's description. Adam learned of Whitewall's involvement as well. The young Stetson was in complete denial until the police released the now completely blood-red fedora that was once Delilah's favorite fedora, to Adam. His mother remained distant and had minimum involvement in trying to calm her son. In the end, Adam ran away from home a few months later at the age of seventeen, with the blood-red fedora in hand.

Swearing vengeance on Whitewall and all criminals who walked the streets, Adam went into training. Adam finished his education with a doctorate in criminology and engineering. He began physically training himself in all athletics. Using his skills, cunning, and everything he had, Adam turned nothing into everything. He became a successful inventor whom created a great deal of fortune for himself. Adam even bought a mansion in Long Island and named it "Slider Mansion" after a favorite race car of Avery Stetson that Adam and Delilah had always seen him driving. Adam Stetson also built a secret underground garage that was his lair and storage place of all of Avery Stetson's cars that Adam inherited.

Stetson then took the fedora that his girlfriend once wore and placed it on a mantle in the garage. Using his great inventive and engineering skills, Stetson modified one of his father's race cars and named it "The Crimson Wire". He created several genius inventions such as a hacking device named "The Haxbox" that could hack into a system one thousand times faster than the best hacking equipment on the market. He then created a prototype suit that he would wear to fight crime with. Then Stetson was faced with the task of choosing a name for himself. He was having a very hard time until he remembered the nickname Delilah always called him. Knowing the name that he would call himself, Stetson perfected his suit and equipment, and went out on his first night as his alter ego. Taking on a the nickname his love always called him, Stetson forever became "The Crimson Wraith"...

Powers:

• High Genius Intelligence: Stetson's level of intelligence is on par with the greatest geniuses of man kind. He has created a suit to fit a great deal of specifications, and has a wide array of impressive inventions himself. He did not build them into an advanced mechanical suit, Stetson made his inventions to fit into the pockets of a utility belt. Because he does not have any true superpowers, Stetson uses his intelligence to fight crime. With an IQ above two-hundred, a much higher mental capacity than normal, and and incredible inventiveness, Stetson's abilities are highly effective.
  
• Peak Human Agility: He has an incredible agility that is on par with some of the greatest acrobats in the world. Stetson can perform virtually all agile maneuvers with magnificent grace. He can perform seemingly effortless tightrope walks, and can utilize his coordination to an amazing extent. Stetson's skills also incorporate parkour and free running.
  
• Peak Human Endurance: He has the peak level of endurance possible for himself. His endurance is great enough to withstand intensive and long periods of running and activity. It also allows him to hold his breath for a long period of time.
  
• Peak Human Reflexes: He is capable of dodging gunfire at pointblank range and even catching arrows mid-flight provided that he knows where either are coming from. Although he has bullet-proof armor, he rarely gets shot.
  
• Peak Human Speed: Stetson can run at speeds on the same level as some of the greatest runners of mankind. His peak running speed is twenty five miles per hour.
  
• Peak Human Strength: Stetson's strength is sufficient enough to bench-press at least a thousand pounds. His strength is sufficient enough to knock out full grown men with a single punch. Due to continuously difficult training, his strength is at the very maximum level it can be without him being superhuman.

Abilities:

• Master Combatant: After training for several years in the art of fighting, Stetson has developed a high affinity for unarmed combat. He had displayed abilities in several different martial arts and mastered a great deal of fighting techniques. Even against armed opponents, he can fight them with his bare hands.
  
• Master Inventor: Developed from an early age, Stetson is a master inventor. His inventions are technologically advanced and are definitely handy. His creations range from tracking devices to vehicle modifications. He has a doctorate in engineering.
  
• Master of Stealth: Because of his lack of firepower, Stetson had to resort to stealth. With a great deal of training and the combination of his gadgets, Stetson is capable of entering a high security facility without being detected. His master of stealth also helps in the ways of security.
  
• Master Detective: He has incredible detective abilities. Due to his inventions, he can track down most anyone. He has solved several crimes that the FBI had problems with, and even mysteries of a supernatural degree. He also has a doctorate in criminology.
  
• Olympic Athlete: He is comparable to Olympic athletes in the capabilities of swimming, lifting, running, and throwing. His abilities all range from his peak human conditioning.
  
• Incredible Willpower: Stetson's willpower is sufficient to contend with telepathic assaults, resisting pain, and even ignoring wounds for a little while. His willpower allows him to do the incredible on occasion.

Adam Stetson is six feet two inches tall and weighs two hundred and ten pounds. However he is not overweight because of his weight; his body fat percentage is four percent, meaning his total fat is about eight pounds. Most of his weight is muscle. Stetson has a darker skin tone and a radiant complexion. His hair is black and wavy and very well combed. His eyes are brown and he has a pronounced nose. Stetson has a squarish and pronounced chin as well. His usual apparel is an expensive business suit. He also has a bullet scar in his chest from when he was shot.

Roleplay Sample:
Adam Stetson stood in front of the mask piece of the now finished crime fighting outfit he made. It's crimson and black tints were reflecting directly into Stetson's eyes as he stood in the hideout under his mansion. The lights were shining down on all of his cars including "The Crimson Wire". The man stood looking at his creation with a deciding look. Stetson was already wearing everything else and the mask was the last piece he would put on. Everything was complete and all that was left was the test run in which his skills would be tested. Stetson reached out to the black and crimson match and pulled it closed. As he looked down at it, he began to reflect on his past.

"Father...Delilah," quietly stated Stetson, "Your deaths will be avenged. With everything in my power, and your spirits with me, criminals shall run in fear of my wrath." Adam Stetson slowly raised the mask up and slid it down onto his head as he was finally ready for his first night. "Let them all know a ghost, a blood red shadow, hunts them." Adam Stetson turn around and looked at the Crimson Wire for a moment. "I am... The Crimson Wraith!"

So, if he doesn't have the ability for "flight" or even "pseudo-flight" alike, but not limited to: jumping quite high, propelling himself great distances, etc.

Well I was told I need to leave a point off for wealth, besides if I added that point to any of the skills I have left, he'd be superhuman.
