Personality: Due to losing close people at a young age Magnus is very cold, uncaring, and refuses to form long term bonds with people. He will fight alongside and come to the aid of those if asked however.

History: Stephen was born too Maria and Charles Magnus thirty five years ago in a chicago hospital. The parents and medical staff were shocked to find blue lines and runes forming on the infants skin, all of which shocked the father so much that he took the infant and ran. After What seemed like hours of running, Charles looked down at his infant son and with a heavy heart, abandoned his son there in an alleyway. Sensing the innate magical talent of the infant, An old Shop keeper ( Really an accomplished sorcerer in hiding ) found young Stephen and took him in.

As Stephen grew in age he aquired great control of his ability but was ultimately stopped short of his real potential when his teacher and adoptive father was brutally murdered. Stephen went to his adoptive fathers side while the life ebbed from him and was told of the night his father left him on the street. This lead to Stephen being scarred mentally and he has since then developed a fear of forming close bonds with people. The mental breakdown never truly healed and to this day Stephen finds himself afflicted by hand tremors.

Currently Magnus patrols Chicago and does battle with the malign forces who would dare attack it.

Powers: The ability to use Magic. Magnus can fire bolts of Magical energy from his hands that can vary in power. When created and sent at someone, Each bolt is similar in appearance to a lightning bolt but is actually comprised of entirely magic, taking on an entirely white color.

Defensive: Magnus can create a sphere of energy around himself comprised entirely of magical energies. The shield projects a translucent, slightly blue/white tinted sphere around Magnus that protects him from harm until dissipated from strong or repeated attacks. After three posts Magnus will be able to recreate his shield

During a rainy winter night in the city of Chicago, Magnus would catch sight of a sinister and malign action taking place as he walks down a lonely street. Two men murdering a young woman in cold blood, an action only made worse by the stealing of her things.

" Its a shame what the worlds become..."

Magnus would then rush across the street and into the alleyway and immediately raise and level his left hand, magical energy forming quickly. The Murderers look up only to see Magnus' palm pointed at them, two magical bolts are formed then sent in their direction. The Bolts strike both in the chest and knock them flat on their backs, knocking one out cold. The other would grit his teeth as the copper taste of blood slowly enters his mouth. He would get up slowly and spit, red viscous droplets of spit hit the ground afterward. He takes a step forward and then proceeds to lunge forward with his knife aimed for Magnus' gut.

" DIE!! "

The man would shout as he continues forward only to have his attack stopped as it impacts into a shield of magical energy Magnus had just erected. The man would recoil slightly and as this happens, Magnus would extend both his hands and gather energy into his palms, sending two more magical bolts of energy which strike the man and knock him clean out. Magnus would thrust his right hand into his black jackets right pocket and fish around for a moment, drawing a cell phone. He would steady his trembling hands momentarily and call the police then leave the scene, heading silently back into the night.
