They had Arrived in San Francisco, Ace called San Francisco home even though he'd barely been there a week, outside of the airport the sun was shining and a blue sky was set in for the day. "It's a perfect day to arrive" Ace said as Sullivan brought round the car "Now this is one of my favorite cars, The Rolls Royce SE"

Before getting in the car Ace Pointed to a tower in the Distance. "See that, thats sentinels tower, now let's go" Ace jumped in the car and took Sean with him, They sped off down into the city passing the beach, the shopping mall, the restaurant and alot more Ace providing a running commentary to the whole ride.

Eventually they stopped at this tower that extended into the sky, Sullivan drove off leaving Ace and Sean standing in front of it "This Is Sentinels Tower" Ace said with a grin on his face

Sean looked at the car with a mix of interest, and uninterest. With a sigh, stuck his hands into his pocket. It wasn't cold here, like it was in New York, a downside personally. Though the car was nice enough, so it made up for it. Next came a commentary of all the places in the city, and he knew this wasn't a city ripe with metahuman crime. Atleast he would have a bit of rest before he did some major hero work stuff.

"Well thats nice." Whispered, as he looked up at the tower. So this was where he would be staying, it was rather nice if you ask him.

Ace dug in his jacket pulling out a keychain, he stuck a key in the lock and it opened "I know it's low-tech but it's security system isn't quite finished. Ace walked in "Guys I'm back!", No reply "Well this is weird, usually I get something" Ace ran up the stairs, "Guys?",
*No ones here* Ace thought to himself, He glanced at the screen in the board room it had a small red hazard icon just outside of the tower with a bigger blue one in the city. The blue meant the sentinels had it under control, the red is an alert, something that needs their attention, Ace grabbed a communicator off the desk and ran back down the stairs.

Ace threw the communicator to Sean, "Your going to need this" Ace said rushing about, "there's something going on just within walking distance of here, consider it an initiation" Ace explained, happy with how this turned out. Ace opened the door and stepped out, *Time to test this new guy out*

Sean marveled at the size of the nuilding, and how it was just so...nice. Though he wondered how long till he would have to go on some sort of mission for these people. Its not that he wasn't ready for one, just that he was nervous about working with whoever was part of this group. Sean always was ready for a new challenge,so that got his blood pumping. Ace came running abck, thowing him a communicator. Why would he need this? Then it hit him. He was going to ahve work already? Well atleast he was promptly put to doign something. Better than just sitting around like an idiot with a thumb up his ass

"Sound like fun." Sean muttered, strapping his equipment bag tightly. Following after the young man, clenching his fist's tightly in anticipation for a good fight. This would most likely be an interesting day, aside from him being inducted into a government group. Thought hat was not that interesting really. Sean had fought demons, and been attacked by crazy ass witches. This would be a walk in the park compared to that.

Ace ran down the streets, Sean following close behind. He glanced down at his phone "This isn't right, the crisis should be right here" Ace spouted confused, 3 seconds after saying this a huge armored man burst through the wall next to him, his fists grasping bags full of money.

The man turned to the two, " I assume you'd be the sentinels?" the man asked impatiently
"I assume you'd be the brainless idiot we have to stop?" Ace quickly replied, The man twitched "I thought there were more of you"
"Yes but you weren't the highest priority on the list"
"WHAT!?!? Who was a higher priority than me", Ace shrugged his shoulders
"I wouldn't know, our system just tells us by priority"

The man swung a large fist at him, Ace grabbed the fist and jump through to the other side of his armor, "Ok Deluge, your up, let's see what you got" Ace said to Sean as the large man charged at Sean.

So this was the threat? A guy in a suit of armor, which was not that impressive. Sean wouldn't even need his power to kic his ass. The fist came at him, but it was not too fast. Sean saw it with ease, as he drifted to the left. His body moving in a sway he had learned, and adapted to in any combat situation. "Unimpressive, I was expecting more of a fight." Sean whipped one of his pistols from his backpack, finger hugging the trigger like a long lost friend. Quickly he jumped back, firing a round aimed at the mans knee, just to stop him from running around, and causing damage. It was also a test of his durability, since Sean made these pistols to pack a punch. Even Pain would feel them, though damage was unknown. Mentally he was checking for all the nearby water at his disposal, as well as the moisture in the air. Incase his power had to be used.

The man fell over on his knees, wincing in pain, his eyes started to water, the bullet had ripped through his armor and had lodged itself into his kneecap "Il get you for this you stupid little Fu-Arghhh!"

Ace kicked the man in the knee "No cursing in front of the new recruits", Police sirens teetered away in the background, "Nice work out there Sean" Ace told Sean as the police dragged the armored man away "But I hope you'll understand that threats will usually be bigger than this guy, smarter too" Ace paused, "you will certainly be a welcome addition to the Sentinels" Ace smiled at Sean "That is if your still up for being one"

Sean smirked with satisfaction as the guy was stopped with his bullet. It was all too easy, but Sean wanted an easy victory after all the villains he had to deal with in New York. Well them, and crazy ass witches who wanted his head on a platter. Not the best situation to be in, so of course he would want this cozy, guarded tower instead of this hectic life."Of course I still do. Otherwise I wouldn't have came here in the first place." Sean said simply, pulling a small beaten carton of cigarettes from his backpack, as well as an equally beaten lighter. Lighting a single carcinogen laden stick, as he took a deep drag of it. Allowing a small cloud of translucent smoke leak from his nose. His nerves lowered, as he turned around to the direction of the tower. This might work out perfectly.
