Re: Rumble in the Bronx (open to Pain)
The Samaritan again met the unbelievable resistance when the two collided. To be honest, The Samaritan hadn't ever felt anything like the feeling of having his powered outmatched. Pain caught the Samaritan and when he slammed the boyscout to the ground it only deepened the crater they were all ready in.
Pain was strong, stronger than the Samaritan, but he still only weighed so much. The Samaritan allowed Pain to keep ahold of his back but lifted off and shot into the sky. If pain planned on letting go, the Samaritan would have an uppercut primed and waiting. His plan was to take the apparently flightless villain toward the Ocean, see how well he swam.

Re: Rumble in the Bronx (open to Pain)
His defense held strong, stopping this flying powerhouse with a simple tactic he used in nearly every fight. Pain did not hesitate, unafraid of standing or throwing himself in harms way just to get an attack off. The boy scout hit hard, even the Big Guy felt the stinging in his chest. Things would’ve been a lot worse if he were unprepared for that, but even after admitting that to himself, Pain was fully confident in his resolve.
The sheer power of the boy scout’s attack forced Pain’s form back once again, but he continued to hold his ground and this time with his opponent in his grasp. The Big Guy fell backwards, pulling him to the ground in a mighty slam. It may have been a devastating attack to his enemy, but it was even worse for the city. They had caused a considerable amount of damage to this block, homes, possibly lives destroyed because of a loss of temper. His guilt was just another thing pushing him to end this.
The attack worked well, but not all according to plan. It wasn’t as devastating as he hoped; his opponent was still able recover and blast off into the sky once again. It all happened in only a few seconds, only this time he carried Pain in tow. They didn’t gain very much height, maybe three stories or so before Pain realized what was going on and reacted. From here he could hardly do a thing, throw a punch maybe, but he preferred a fight on the ground. He should’ve thrown that punch, but didn’t, probably because he hated flying. Instead he immediately released his opponent and began falling towards the ground.
This boy scout reacted quickly to this, moving in on the attack while Pain could not fully defend himself. A mighty uppercut came blasting his way, connecting with his chin and sending him hurling up and down the street. The Big Guy slammed down and hit the concrete hard, his back absorbing all the damage as he briefly slid across the street, tearing apart everything in his wake. Pain sat up and shook his head, running a hand through his hair as he muttered to himself. “Not often I get hit like that…” He felt his body aching all over, but it to him this was nothing; he’d been through far worse and was far from finished!
After swiftly rising up, the Big Guy popped his shoulders then rolled his neck before calling out to his opponent. ”That the best you got punk?” Pain fell back into his fighting stance, assuming a more offensive boxing style.

Re: Rumble in the Bronx (open to Pain)
" He ain't too hot in the air....maybe I can take him to altitude and see how he fights with no ground to base himself on' The Samaritan thought to himself as he floated several stories off the ground.
"You shouldn't worry about this run down slumhole, we're doing the city a favor by knocking it down!" The Samaritan answered after seeing Pain look around at the destruction they'd caused so far. "What's wrong? afraid we'll knock down your favorite crack house?" Knowing the taunt would egg his opponent on.
The Samaritan shot down at the ground again, his trajectory was directly at Pain once again, but the Samaritan had a last second change of course and came down short of his target. He pounded into the ground and tunneled underneath the pavement. Once deep enough he would use his massive strength to heave the entire peice of ground his opponent was standing on high into the air, and continue combat in the sky. The Samaritan's plan was simple, once he got airborn he would keep using upward pointed strikes to raise the battle, higher and higher into the air. He could only hope that his own flight combat mechanics were better than the methed out punk he was fighting, because his opponent certainly had the edge on ground level.

Re: Rumble in the Bronx (open to Pain)
More frustration boiled within him as heard the man’s claims. They were doing the city a favor? No, they were like gods amongst these people, and this was surely abusing their power. Through their brawl, they’ve managed to decimate a good portion of this city block. Pain swore to protect not only this city, but every life on this planet he possibly could; he felt neither of them were doing that right now. The Big Guy felt it was his responsibility, and it disgusted him that this man had so much power, a man who made heroic claims, but so easily threw it all aside and judged the lives of people. It was not their place to make those decisions; it shouldn’t be anyone’s…
The man’s taunts worked in angering Pain, they made his fists clench and shake with unfathomable power. “You can destroy cities, but you can never destroy what I am punk.” However he was never one to lose his focus despite any emotions he felt. The Big Guy kept his icy blue eyes fixed on his enemy, bracing himself for another attack and following his every movement until he flew straight into the ground. Pain wanted to end this here and now, but the boy scout just complicated things with his little ‘burrowing’ technique.
The Big Guy thought of slamming his fist into the floor, but decided against it, knowing he would have to punch with enough force to cause a small earthquake to knock this guy out. Pain instead waited, and just as he expected the boy scout blasted from the ground below, now carrying a massive chunk of the street into the sky. Pain nearly lost his balance, dropping down to one knee and digging his fist into the floating chunk of street.
Now came the good part, he had to make sure to hit precisely and with enough force otherwise he’d destroy this entire block with the falling debris. Pain lifted his hand from the cement, cupping both together and lifting them above his head in preparation for a devastating strike. “No more!” The Big Guy shouted as his fists slammed down in unison onto the flying chunk. It shattered into millions of tiny harmless pieces which rained down on the city like hail.
Unlike his opponent, Pain could not fly and immediately began hurling towards the ground. Having the experience and skill, The Big Guy reacted in time and used it to his advantage, slamming down into the boy scout’s chest with his massive boots. The two blasted downwards until they reached the crater the boy scout created. The brutal impact only deepened the crater, but it surely did enough damage to end this fight.
Pain stood on his enemy’s chest and felt ribs broken under his feet. Out of respect and guilt, he took his weight off and only pinned him down under one foot. With one foot on his chest, Pain looked into his defeated opponent’s eyes and saw no remorse, only rage due to his defeat.
“How...What the hell are you?” The boy scout managed to force out, his only concern being how he could’ve lost.
”I am the protector of the innocent, they call me Pain.” He said simply, his scowl fading into a blank expression as his right hand balled up into a fist.
”Nightmare to you.” Pain boldly claimed before knocking the boy scout out cold with one final punch from his right hook. It wasn’t very powerful, but just enough to keep him quiet til’ he woke up in his cell…
Afterwards he still had to deal with cleanup and fixing his jacket. Pain would offer his help to the city, help them rebuild, anything to fix this mess.
