Re: Harbingers in Siberia
Elena paid close attention to the instructions that NightKill gave her. As the names of the other two people that were going to be in her group were mentioned she looked at them just to ensure their cooperation. After the directions were given, Elena walked over to the entrance of the designated hallway. She closed her eyes for a moment and then opened her right eye and looked around for a moment. Her infrared vision had been activated so that she could see where and when they would be running into any robotic centuries. She blinked a couple times returning her vision to normal and then turned to the other two that were accompanying her.
"There are a decent amount of AI units that will be obscuring our path, though they hopefully should not pose too much of an issue to either of you. I will do my part in deactivating the core if you help in escorting me there. If there are not any complications then we will be proceeding immediately."
Since this was the first time that Elena had said anything the entire trip, she made sure to speak strong and firm so that they would know that she meant business. Though she may come off as just a pretty face with some brains, they would be wrong to underestimate her. She waited for a moment to see if the two men had anything to say, and if not she would move out and start their portion of the mission.

Re: Harbingers in Siberia
The plan was good, possibly too good, there didn't seem to be an open flaw in it, other than bombarding the second team with androids and even then it still wasn't likely they'd fail. Possibly the only kink in the line was the hot-headed vampire who thought he owned the group because he was tougher than most of them.
Loraine had stayed quiet for as long as possible, she didn't want to drag Nightkill into a pit of rage, but she had an important question "Are there any turrets or sentrys on the grounds that could cause more trouble to us" Loraine hated bullets but she hated surprise bullets more.

Re: Harbingers in Siberia
Nightkill glanced at Lorraine. "Yes, there certainly will. I will be surprised if there isn't. This is why it's imperative we get the second team to disable the AI core as quickly as possible, while we deal with most of the robots."
Nightkill nodded. "Alright. Sean, Duplex, listen to what Elena says. The rest of you, listen to me. We'll go down this hallway together, then split afterwards." he said. He looked at his group, and mild concern danced in his head for the first time. He shrugged it off. The groups would be fine, both of them.
He pulled out a handgun. He had given one to all of them. Whether they used it or not was up to them. "Get ready, and put on those contact lenses." he warned, and opened the door.
For a moment there was a comical bit when a bunch of armed guards and Android Mark 4s stared at the group. Then they opened fire. Nightkill generated a electric shield blocking some of the bullets, and then let it burst, sending a weak electric wave that disoriented the human guards, though the androids shrugged and shook it off, keeping up their fire.
Nightkill covered his body with electricity, and ran headlong into the group, discharging as he hit. The android he hit was destroyed, and the others were blown back.
More androids and human guards were coming from the corners, and the disoriented guards were starting to get back up. Nightkill shot one with an electric wave before jogging back to the group. From there he blew a hole in the wall, causing some rubble to fall, but using his smarts to have just enough fall so that it didn't hurt the Harbingers or completely block the way. Now there was just cover one could decently hide behind, and when they wanted to move on, walk over. He hid using the rubble cover for a moment, allowing his electric powers to recharge.

Re: Harbingers in Siberia
Cain actually listens to what boss man has to say this time putting on the infared contacts ignoring the gun, simply because he'd rather rely on his fists or the shadows. After Nightkill bursts the door down and does his electricity thing, Cain walks out behind him raising his hands and snapping them the human guards ensnared in ropes of shadows cutting through them as they instantly die blood shooting out of them. He smirks and then keeps walking a giant shadow wall infront of him blocking the bullets; after a while he pushes his hand forward and the shadow wall flies forward smashing the robots into the wall on the far side, well the ones that weren't smart enough to
run down the side hallways of course.
Cain looks around and shrugs turning around, "I think I got 'em all" He says looking around and scratching his head as more start rushing back down into the hallway making him frown getting in a fighting stance. "Scratch that," he mutters frowning punching a hole through one.

Re: Harbingers in Siberia
Nightkill paused, and then walked over the rubble cover he made. "We stunned them, but there will be more." he stated. He walked down the hallway slowly. Another two came around the corner, and were shot dead. They reached the end of the corner, and dozens of androids were seen coming down from the way Nightkill's group would be going. Not many the other way though, where Elena would be going.
"Hurry down that way, remember my directions, and shut down the AI Core!" Nightkill barked, overloading the electricity in some of the androids, who exploded. But many human guards also came, and more androids followed. Nightkill created an electric shield to hold some off.
"Come on now!" he said, when the AI Core team wasn't moving. "Go!"

Duplex would stick the contact lenses on and everything of these AI robots that Nightkill had been talking about would come true. Dupelx would follow the group from behind, covering the group's six. He would not use the pistol that Nightkill would give him, because he preferred his own pistol revolver hybrid. He would push the group on from behind as he would make sure that no one would get them from behind.
"Oh let's not make this too easy."
Duplex would say as he would make his clone. His clone would stand next to him, both aiming their guns down the hall shooting the robots that were passed on or shooting any of the human guards that were not killed. The bullets in the guns that Duplex were using would easily rip through the armor of both the robots and of the regular guards. Duplex would look back as the group stopped moving because he would bump into Sean.
"Dude! Get up front and help Nightkill."
The original Duplex would say as he patted him on the back also kinda pushing him forward slightly. The clone of Duplex would go in on the robots and guards that were behind them with his two swords. He would easily slash through a bunch of the robots and guards as if they were paper. The original Duplex would lay down some cove fire for his clone.

Re: Harbingers in Siberia
Elena stood mostly to the back towards the back with her pistol in hand. She kept one eye on infrared and would point out an enemy that they may have missed, or take it out herself. She felt that this even here was a little bit crowded with all these people just rushing down this hall way, but it was what had to be done. For the most part, Elena wished to remain viewed as the somewhat innocent girl who was a pretty face and some good brains. She did not always like showing her true powers, though she could imagine that the vampire guy was probably getting hints towards what she was. The demonstration of abilities that was being displayed was rather interesting, though with her just observing, she nearly missed the command that Nightkill gave to her and her group to make their way down the hallway in order to shut down the AI core.
Vexus started off in a preppy-girl shuffle run with her heels clicking with every short, quick step. She turned first down the hall way and changed her pace to long powerful strides. Elena held out her gun straight out and took aim at the first incoming robot and took it out with a couple well placed shots. She could nearly see the entrance to the AI core, but then again she could see much further than the average human. Elena was not waiting a second for the other two members of her team, she knew how important it was to get the Core off and she was focused on getting that done. There was one other cybernetic unit that she was coming up on, and whether the other two were looking or not, she backhanded the robot with her left hand and it flew into the wall to her far left. Elena kept walking forward like the robot had never been there. Her attack was not entirely meant to permanently decommission the robot, just move it out of her way quickly or to temporarily stun it. The two men following her could take care of it once they caught up.

"Go with her." he ordered Duplex and Cain. The rest of the group fired at the robots in the hallway, pushing their way slowly through. Nightkill charged up with electricity, then charged and slammed into the robots in front of him, wiping out a good chunk. He then jumped back. The narrow hallway space made it useful to kill as many robots as possible, but it helped the androids as well.
Nightkill used his electricity to overload a few robots at a time, stalling till Vexus made it to the AI core.

Cain smirks and grabs a robot by it's head and middle section before ripping it's head off then throwing it against a wall. He hears what Nightkill says,"Got it boss man! He yells out smirking turning down into the hallway with vexus. Seeing the robots i n the hallway he snarls and raises his hands, the shadows going with them. He throws his hands to the side and the shadows catch all the robots throwing them into the wall sticking them there. Once that happens a loud crunch and crackiling noises are heard throughout the hallway as the robots are broken in a thousand pieces. He lets his hands fall as the shadows themselves fall, the robot pieces hit the ground making a thousand different noises. "Whats next! He yells out smirking, loving the thrill of this fight, though not as fun as tearing through bag 'o bloods it still makes his blood pump out hard and his adrenalin run.

Re: Harbingers in Siberia
Duplex and his clone would look over at Nightkill. Nightkill would go and take out a large portion of the robots. Duplex and his clone would go running through the group hopping over some of the robots that Cain would take out and then both jumping over Cain's shoulder like leapfrog. The clone was now on Vexus's left side and Duplex was on her right side with their duo of pistols aimed down at the swarm of robots. Duplex along with his clone would shoot down at the swarm of robots that were in front of them. Four shots almost every second heading down range to rip through the armor of the robots. Both Duplex and his clone though would run out of ammo in their guns. Instead of even bothering to reload, both would put the guns in their holsters and then pull out their duo of swords. They'd both twirl them around in their hands.
"Ay you would think that he had better security for such a smart guy."
"His security is bad, it's just we're too good."
"Haha, we could've done this ourselves probably."
"Oh don't go that far now."
Duplex and his clone would start conversing with each other getting distracted for a couple of seconds. Duplex would put his finger up signalling to shush and get back to the mission. They would both nod heads as then they ran ahead of the group to clear space for Vexus. Duplex would jump in the air spinning with the swords out. He would slash a few robots across the face as his clone ran, slashing them across the lumbar regions from right to left. Duplex would land on the ground and duck down a bit as his clone rolled over his back to slash a few more bots. Having the same mind worked to their advantage because they thought up of the same plans and performed them with great unison.

Loraine shot shockwaves at the feet of the robots, knocking them down then stomping on their torsos, getting, ironically, shocks going up her legs. "Il fly up, see how many I can get from higher up" She flew up hitting her head on the ceiling "Shit" in her slightly disoriented state a
robot grabbed her leg, she promptly slammed it into a wall and crushed it with a shockwave.
She started holding down the robots with shockwaves, beckoning the rest of the team to take advantage of the situation by taking out the robots while they were down, it was a slow but effective way of getting through atleast until the second team got through

A dozen androids came out of the door to the AI core, attacking Vexus' group. They fired their bullets, hoping to bring the group down.
"Nice job!" Nightkill yelled to Loraine, and used his electrical powers to overload the next few robots rushing at them. Some human guards tried to attack, and Nightkill quickly killed them with well-placed lightning strikes.
Too bad. he thought regretfully. Death was a waste, and he did not like to inflict it unless absolutely needed. "How are you doing?" he spoke over the radio to the AI core team. The dozen robots would be followed up with fourteen more of them. In the narrow hallway, they kept relentlessly firing at the group.

Re: Harbingers in Siberia
Elena kept walking forward in the same powerful pace she had before, not even flinching as bullets zoomed past her face. Some shots his her in the leg, arm, and chest but she kept pressing forward as if nothing happened. She came up to one of the bots that had been firing at her and kicked it to the wall, one behind it she grabbed and threw it into another one of the robots, letting out a small grunt as she exerted force in order to throw the metal being with enough power to cause damage. Vexus was still taking damage as she continued to shoot at and punch through the android units. She did not have enough strength to punch clear through the robots, but with one or two well placed hits, most of them were down.
Vexus had only take out the robots that were directly in her way to the AI core entrance. The ones she hadn't taken care of continued to shoot at her, tearing up her coat, so as she walked she took off the coat and tossed it on the ground since it had been ruined anyways. Elena also threw off her hat since she would look odd with it on anyways. What she was wearing underneath were simple black tights with a mini grey skirt. She had a black, slim fitting, long sleeve turtle neck on covered by a white vest with button at the torso. She had just reached the entrance when one more android unit confronted her, without a second though, she grabbed it by its 'neck' and threw it straight back behind her hoping to hit one or two of the other bots that were still back there. After she made it through the entrance, she rushed over to the main computer and began rapidly searching through and hacking the system in order to disable to robots. Her eyes were darting all across the screen when she heard Nightkill on the radio system asking how they were doing. Without even pausing her tying for the slightest instant she replied.
"Doing just fine, I am in the AI core disabling it as we speak. It should be out of commission in no time."
In no time, she meant a moment or so. This man had made sure to install a worth security system for this, though she could not blame him because she would have done the same for such an asset to the defenses. hope fully the other members of the team could properly cover her while she worked on disabling the majority of the enemy. All of the damage and injuries that she had taken from the androids had been completely repaired by now. She was keeping an eye on them, for it would not be long before they would come after her and try to stop her current actions.

Re: Harbingers in Siberia
Duplex would be fighting alongside Vexus as they went down the hall. She walked on ahead, easily taking the shots of the bullets because she really didn't have to worry about being killed from the bots like Duplex did. Duplex would take out the scraps that Vexus would leave behind her trial and the ones that she did not attack would get taken care of in short time. The bots seemed to be locked on more to Vexus than Duplex, probably because they saw her as the bigger threat. The original Duplex would put his swords away and pull out his guns as he commanded his clone to go into the battle close combat style with his swords. The clone would nod and do so. The clone would come up to two bots on each side of him. The two bots would have their attention turned to Vexus's direction. He would spin and slice both of their heads off. The clone would continue to go down the hall fighting off dozens of bots that had their attention locker to Vexus. Eventually though they would turn thier attention to the clone and swarm him quickly. Duplex's clone would fight off as many as he could and then gets overwhelmed. The original one would start to shoot the bots off of his clone and after a whole clip from each gun he would clear them all off. Duplex would walk up to his clone as he reloaded his guns.
"Oh I coulda been a gon-"
The clone would get cut off as Duplex would shoot the clone right in the head causing him to disappear. Duplex would walk over to the momentarily cleared hallway. Vexus would be working on the AI core when he would reach the doorway. Duplex would turn around as more soldiers and robots would crowd the other end of the hallway. Duplex would aim down the hallway and start shooting at the mix of man and machine. Duplex would make his clone again and the clone would crouch in front of Duplex as they both shot their guns down the hallway. The two of them were barely enough to keep them at bay, but it was still working.
"Might wanna hurry before we get overrun!"

Re: Harbingers in Siberia
Cain smriks walking down the hallway watching the duplex guy work and the robot lady, oh yes he has it all figured out now. She has to be a robot, how else does she not have any blood when he sniffed it out earlier? To him it is the only logical exuse he can think of, well that or he just couldn't smell because of the cold but that is beside the point right now. As the original duplex shoots his clone Cain finally catches up with the two as Elena walks into the robot control room thingy mabob or whatever the hell it is."Oh, just get behind me and stand around Elena, I can." Cain stops in the middle of his sentence an idea forming in his small crazy, blood lust, filled mind a sadist grin spreading accross his face.He simply raises his hand and a giant shadow wall rises from the ground up to the ceiling covering the entire hallway making it impossible for the robots or normal guards to get through without being sent to wherever the hell it is things go when they go through Cain's Shadow walls. To be honest he does not give a fuck where they go as long as they aren't hurting him, which how he sees it is a pluss in its own right. Besides who cares if a few random robots appear in some random ass place or some random citizin of some country is shot down? Just another useless bag o' blood who lost his life anyway, not like they matter to the Lord of the Shadows or this mission anyway."Hmmm you know I actually think I should have done this from the very begging, would have been much less of a hassle for us and the damned things never would have gotten close to us, oh well better late than never."

Re: Harbingers in Siberia
The AI core was hacked. A shudder went through the facility, and the androids stopped moving forward and firing. As one, they all fell to the floor, deactivated.
Without the androids backing them up, the humans fell quickly. Nightkill quickly moved through the hallway, going down the basement. He paused outside Lev's room for a moment. This was it. He took a breath, and kicked the door open before Lev could prepare surprises.
An energy blast went over his head, and Nightkill ducked. It flew past him and dented a hole in the other wall. Nightkill quickly fired a burst of electricity, and the gun held in Lev's hand was blasted out, landing at Nightkill's foot. He glanced at it. "Could be useful." he said, noting the large amount of deactivated androids in the room. Clearly Lev did not expect the AI Core to be hacked.
Lev fired with an ordinary pistol he picked up out of his pocket, and Nightkill blocked the bullet with an electricity shield, and then knocked the pistol out with another burst of electricity.
Lev was backed into a corner as Nightkill walked steadily closer. "You bastard." he growled in thickly accented English. "I won't work with you! I've set the base to self-destruct! There is no way you can escape!"
Nightkill sighed, and wires burst out of his back, hitting the computer terminal on the side of the room. A computerized female voice said "Self-destruct disabled."
Lev stared at Nightkill. He spoke again. "Bastard."
Nightkill grinned at the Russian scientist, who was glaring at him with an expression of pure hatred. "Why didn't you die! Huh, why didn't you die?" the scientist yelled at him.
"Too stubborn." Nightkill replied shortly, hitting the man with an electric charged punch. Lev went down, now unconscious. Nightkill spoke over the radio. "Cain, get ready to shadow teleport us back. We're done here." he said, downloading the information in Lev's computers, and dragging the scientist and his gun away. The mission was done.
