The Witch and the Robot

Elena vexus had lost her interest while being in the metal forest that is New York City. She had arranged for her private jet to arrive at a nearby airport to take her to Los Angeles. She figured that would be her next point of interest. It was highly populated and a well known city. Seemed like the damage she caused in the city was not enough. She would have to do something even larger for this next one. It was a decently long flight so she figured that she would have some time to think about it. She arrived at the airport and was escorted out to her plane. She had big sunglasses on since it ended up being sunny, though it was really not something she needed considering her eyes were not affected by sunlight, Elena sometimes just like to be normal and fit in with the other people. The people tha she has working for her don't really know that she's a self-made android. They all knew that something was off about her, but they were normally too scared to question what. She signed their pay checks and at the moment that was all that they cared about.
As her heels clicked on the concrete heading towards her jet, she quickly scanned the area to make sure that everything was safe for her. She adjust the purse that she had on that had been slipping off her shoulder and continued up onto the plane. She took a seat and relax a little bit, allowing some of her current processes to take a brake allowing her to conserve some energy. She never really needed to save energy, but it reminded her of when she could 'relax'. It has been decades since she has expierence sleep, it's not something she misses, but just one of those human things that she won't have again. After a few minutes, the plane was ready for take off. They reached their crusing altitude and the attendants of the crew began going through their reginment of taking care of Elena while on her flight. It was nothing too extreme for right now because Elena was focusing on what she was going to do once she got to LA, or rather, what she was going to LA...

They were approaching LA and Vexus returned from her 'sleep mode' and everything turned back on. And just in time too. Her sensors picked up some sort of unknown transmission, but it was already too late. Whatever recieved the signal exploded, blowing the plane apart. Pieces of the plane flew everywhere, and then from the suspended cloud of smoke, Elena fell. If the person who had attempted her assassination was watching, then this part would not make sense. Any normal human would have been incinerated in an explosion of that calibur. While crashing rabidly towards the ground, Elena began searching rapidly for signs of where the signal might have came from that detonate the bomb on her plane. She finally got a lock on someone that was a a thousand or so feed down. She went into a dive increasing her velocity trying to reach her target faster.
She was coming up on the ground fast, and then adjusted her position so that she would hit the ground feet first. Elena landed with a low thud making a small crater. Her left first hit the ground with her right knee. Her left leg was bent with her food on the ground. She stood up slowly as the dust she had sturred up began to settle. She was about 500 feet away from who or what had tried to kill her. Elena mentally gave herself a pat on the back for being able to land decently close to her target. Her legs had been slightly damaged from the fall, and her systems were already starting their repair. Vexus then walked out of the dust, rather distraught.

"Excuse me? Who the hell do you think you are? You can't just take out a plane like that... First off, you destroyed my plan. That was not cheap I'll have you know... And second, you killed my crew. Do you know what kind of legal shit I'm going to have to go through now to get the families to shut up? I'm going to have to hold you accountable, whoever you are...."

Elena was talking to this person as if nothing had happened. She didn't really have any scratches on her, but her clothes were a little torched. If anything, she wasn't going to leave with out this person in her custody.

Elena's eyes narrowed in an ovious lack of intrest, this girl drew a sword on her but she had also noticed a collection of an odd energy in her fingertips. While her new opponent stood at the ready, Elena reached behind her, looking like she was going into her back pocket, and pulled out a gun. In reality she had formed the gun quickly while her had was behind her back.
"Bring it on little girl." she said in a demeaining tone.
Her eyes locked on to the girl with crimson hair and fired three shots. One aimed for her head, another for her knee and a third for her heart, in that order. Such a simple means of attacking was probably pointess, but at this time Elena had to asses what she was up against at the moment, after she would be able to creat a plan accordingly in order for her victory to be ensured. Then she would be able to bring out some weapons that could really cause damage.

Elena's eyes widened as her enemy deflected her bullets with some sort of magic sheild and proceeded to charge at her with her sword. A head on attack was never something Vexus advised. It normally seemed untactical and foolish. She reched behind her neck and drew a sword as if she had one sheithed on her back. With her gun now in her left hand and sword in her right, she knocked the attacker's sword away to the left (But not out of her hand) and then took aim with her gun pointing it in her opponents face. In stead of ending the fight now, she wanted to assert her dominace for a moment with her.

"Well that was a good first try my dear, would you like to go for round two?" Elena said with a confident smile on her face.

The assassin seemed to have kicked it in a bit, and Elena was ready to match it. She pulled her hand away as the sword came to hit it, following Vexus watched as she pulled out a gun of her own and her left leg came around trying to trip her. A lot was happening, and in a short time. Elena was rather impressed with this girl's ability to move how she did. It was not often that Vexus ran into a challence like this. Elena moved in a manner where it seems as if she had been tripped, but she is just performing a back hand spring. Upon landing she held her gun out as her opponent did. The girl made a confident statement as Elena had previously did.
"As to you..."
The small hand gun that Elena was holding in her left hand began to morph into and formed a double-barreled shot gun. The sword in her right hand tesselated back into her arm as she used this hand to hold onto the new gun. Her foot went back a bit in order to brace herself for the recoil from the shot she was about to take. She took aim and fired. At this distance such a shot could blow a decent hole through a person. After the shot was taken, Elena was already reloading while never taking her eye off her opponent.

Elena Vexus was impressed with her speed now, she must have used some form of magic in order to enchance her movements. But it seemed like the shot-gun was a good choice, she might not have to go any higher then this. But that idea was quickly changed when her opponent fired a small orb of an unknown energy at her. It was highly compressed and would do a great deal of damage to Elena, or so her senors told her. She decided to expierament a bit with this unknown power. It was moving quickly, so she locked on and shot at it with her gun hoping to destroy it. If her eyes told her anything, it was that such energy would not react nicely, but that's what expiramenting was all about. Taking risks. If not much happened and there was just a small explosion, like that of a grenade or two, then Elena would create another hand gun and begin taking shots at the girl through the smoke. If it was a much larger, and more powerful explosion, Elena's systems would ready her for the impact so that as much damage as possible could be averted. Even if it is a large explosion, her attacker would probably get hurt as well, but it was a gamble she was willing to make.

The bb's came in contact with the orb, causing a loud thundering explosion, as well as an immense shockwave. Elena sprung, rolling back with the remainder of the power coursing through her speed bracers. As the wave barely really hit her, as it sent her reeling. The power in that spell stung, even from indirect exposure. Still it didn't do any damage she knew of, so it was all good. "Damn, I didn't expect her to do that, but i'm kinda impressed. Seems like I got a real challenge with this one." Elena smirked pleased, as she pulled the other rune revolver from her thigh. Brandishing both, as the katana was quickly sheathed. Barrels aimed in the resulting smokescreen, with a few twitches, four bullets were blindly shot into the darkness. Elena was considering using her favorite spell, but she would have to wait to see the power of this woman first, she had the feeling she could do more than was shown. Though that was just her gut intuition, which sometimes was wrongg.

Elena was blown back by the destruction of the orb she bounce and skid across the ground her clothes becoming more damaged. There were a few scratched on her face, legs, and arms from the ground but such minor damage was repaired with ease. She stood back up and saw that there was a large cloud of dust that had been created from the explosion. Elena then dusted off her skirt as best she could and started to make her way into the dust cloud. Unfortunately, she had lost her shot gun inthe blast, but it was not matter for she planned to upgrade now anyways. Using her robotically enchanced eyes on an infrared level she could see that her opponent was doing okay as well. She seemed to be making a move and drew a gun and pointed it towards the dust cloud that Elena was now hiding it. There were four shots fired. Three missed, but the fourth Elena had to dodge. It caught her side slightly tearing her shirt a little. She now stood in the middle of the dust cloud and began to form a rocet launcher. The dust cloud was settling and you could now begin to see Elena's figure, however she did not allow it to settle completely before she locked on to the Sorceress. Vexus fired a missle that rushed straight towards her, blowing away the dust as it traveled. Elena kept an eye on the situation as she formed a hand gun and placed it between her and the waistband of her skirt. She also began to reload her rocket launcher after the gun had been hidden.

"Is this some kind of joke!?" Elena said as she was hit with a powerful wind. This kind of force was very impressive as it seemed as powerful as a hurricane, if not more. She knew that this girl was magical, but she did not expect her being the capable with the arts. Elena let go of the rocket launcher and it disentergrated in the wind from Elena no longer needing it. These hurricane force winds weren't that powerful. She put her arms up in an X formation and curled up a little bit so that her center of gravity was lower. She could still feel herself being pushed back, and the heels she was wearing did not provide her with very much grip. She formed steel boots with spikes at the bottom and stomped each foot into the ground, anchoring herself. She would just have to wait this one out because there was no way that she could use a projectile with this one, it would be like spitting into the wind. Elena's hair was being whipped all over the place and debris was flying past her, some striking her and causing some damage. Her eyes were completely hidden at this point, but she was using her infrared sensors in order to keep an eye on this magic lady. If anything, this would be an opportune moment to hide and prepare for a counter attack, at least if she had been facing someone who wouldn't be able to find her in a moment's notice.
