DA down (Ditto only)

Chloe had been flown out to Chicago by the police. They didn't know it was her at least, they only knew they were bringing Night Owl out. Somebody had killed their District Attorney by stabbing him in his car. They were bringing her out because they were out of options. Not many of the police enjoyed working with someone who wasn't always on the same side of the law. The Helicopter was going to land on the nearby building to let her off, to which she replied by standing up and jumping out of the Helicopter. She spread her arms and legs out to catch the wind and brought herself down to the crime scene below. There weren't any prints and the man had left without a trace. She entered into a nearby building and made her way to the roof.

Staring down at the crime scene below from his darkened perch on a building above, Void was contemplating what to do when his new target arrived. Earlier he had been hired to take out the city's District Attorney for a very generous sum of money from an unknown employer. Of course, being the perfectionist he was he made sure to get the job done as quickly as possible. Without wasting any time he simply found his place of residence and waited for him to arrived back from work. When the DA arrived home, he was met with a very stoic looking Void standing in his way as he attempted to park his car. He didn't even get any time to react before Void managed to impale the man's skull with his blade through the front windscreen. The job itself proved easier than expected, he even managed to evade being detected by anyone other than the unlucky man who currently had a new hole in his head. All had gone according to plan, with the exception that when he returned to the place where he was to retrieve his payment he was given a proposition he just couldn't refuse. It turns out that he had done such a fine job that the police were bringing in an expert of sorts to handle it. Little information was given about the person, except that she was supposed to be a genius of sorts, which possibly meant that she could trace the DA's murder back to Void's employer, which didn't sit to well with him. After a rather lucrative bonus payment was agreed upon, Void was given the task of making sure her investigation would reach an abrupt end.

He decided it best to just kill her as quickly as possible with limited mess, the employer had been very specific on the matter that he should have as little witnesses as possible to his presence. He was soon met with the rather interesting sight of a woman dressed in a rather provocative outfit leaping out of a helicopter, only to glide to the ground. Clearly she was his target, now all he had to do was wait for an opportune moment to strike, yet after a brief check of the crime scene she made her way to one of the roof's nearby. He could only assume it was to get a birds eye view of the place, but that didn't matter to him. All that mattered was that she was now where he could get to her. After a few moments of perfect silence, Void burst forth out of the shadows, leaping across to the building she was on and lashing out at her with his sword, determined to have her killed with one strike.

Chloe saw the man leap across at her. She quickly rolled out of the way before getting up. She whipped out her Gun and neared the edge of the building. This was clearly the man who killed the DA. She rolled away from another blow from the sword. Her pistol was aimed at the mans heart. She tssked and said to him, "I am disappointed. seconds in and a gun trained at your heart. I was expecting better."

She made sure that one foot was hanging off of the roof while she was a safe distance away she still had a backup plan for escape.

Void, being the emotional man he was, stayed completely silent as the woman in front of him spoke. To be sure he was impressed with her reaction time, but that wouldn't save her for long in a fight with him. The gun she pointed at his head wouldn't really pose him much of a problem, but at this range she might be able put a small dent in his head and that just would not do. He might not know much about this woman, but he felt sufficient enough to be able to take her on like this. Quickly ducking low, his head no longer in the danger of being shot at, he let his grip on the blade weaken as he swung his arms forward, Void sent the steel blade hurtling towards the woman's torso.

Chloe knew this was coming and let the foot on the building fall. She fell off of the building as He swung at her. She spread her arms and legs to open the wings of the wingsuit. She glided down the street away from the crime scene. She was going to fight him, but on her terms not his. She landed on the ground and pulled out her Sticky Bomb gun. She aimed it at the building he was on. She pumped it 4 times, launching 4 bombs to the edge of the roof.

Void knew what to expect when his opponent decided to go leaping on the building, he had watched her as he glided down from the helicopter earlier and it was obvious she'd do the same here. Making his way to the edge of the building he looked down to see that his suspicions were indeed well founded as he saw her standing safely on the ground without a scratch. With peaked interest he watched as she pulled out some kind of new weapon and attached four, what can only be assumed as explosives to the building. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was about to happen, so he jumped off the building and landed on one knee and his clenched fist punching the earth below him with a crash. The ground around him was cracked and slightly broken, but he paid to heed. Instead, his attention was directed towards the woman ahead of him...and partially the large explosion and falling debris from the building behind him, but more or less on the woman. Charging forward, both to close the distance between them and to escape being buried alive, he cocked his fist back before unleashing a punch aimed at his opponent's head.

Chloe went to dodge and felt the fist make contact with her shoulder. She groaned in pain but kept going anyways. She dropped a gas bomb at the mans feet. Rolling away as it unleashed the smoke. She got off the ground, her shoulder aching from the punch and pulled out her Sticky Bomb gun once more. She made her way a decent distance away from the smoke and launched a sticky bomb in there with a timer to blow in 30 seconds. She distanced herself further from it so she wouldn't get hit by the shrapnel attached to this one bomb.

Being caught off guard by the sudden burst of smoke, Void had become disoriented enough that he had no idea which direction Night Owl went in and with his vision completely obscured by the smoke, he did the only thing he knew how. Running out of the cloud of smoke, Void attempted to re-access the situation. Looking around, he once again caught sight of his target and was just about to charge her when he heard a loud bang and was blindsided by several shark pieces of shrapnel spawning from the obscured area in the smoke. The sudden nuisance had caused him to stumble back a bit, but after a moment of examination he found that he was largely uninjured, only a few scratches on his upper torso visible. Looking back at the woman who was causing him to actually exert himself a bit, he ran at her once more, intent on actually doing some damage this time. Jumping towards her, he attempted to pin her to the ground where he could hold her still, which would make his job of killing her so much easier.

Chloe was surprised he survived. He knocked her to the ground. "Would you really?" She asked him. She quickly launched her Ballistic knife at him from under him. She got up and away from him. She had her gun in her hand and stood on a car. She stumbled to stand up, frightened and determined.

Even Void had to pause for a moment after she had said that. He just then realized that by using that method of trying to incapacitate her, he had given her the idea that he was going to do something other than kill her. Of course he had no such plans, but in that compromising position it was hard to blame her. Then, just when he regained his composure and was about to land a fatal blow, he felt something strike his torso. The blade of Night Owl's ballistic knife had deflected off of him, but left a cut in his armored self, the wound somewhat deeper than that of the shrapnel earlier. He then noticed the woman used that as a distraction and while he wasn't paying attention, she had escaped his clutches. Standing up he turned to look her in the eye as she stood atop a nearby car. Determined to at least wound her, Void raced forward and after taking a firm grip of the lower half of the vehicle, overturned it with great force, sending it hurtling a several meters away.

Chloe saw the car coming and rolled out of the way. Well this is going to be tougher than I thought. "Who do you work for? She asked him. She backed up, Gun pointed at him. She Fired off shots, not directly at him but to shake him a bit maybe.

Void felt no need to humor the woman by answering her question, she wouldn't be alive much longer anyways, and so he began to approach the woman once more without speaking a word. When she fired off a few shots at him, or to be more accurate in his general direction, he knew she was either trying to intimidate him or she was quite possibly the worst shot he had ever seen. In any case, he was completely unphased by the gunfire and ignored it completely, continuing to approach the woman with increasing speed. This time when he lunged at her, he lashed out with a kick aimed at her abdomen instead, just to mix things up a bit.

She felt his kick align with her abdomen. She had been distracted by a cop car. She keeled over on the ground. She felt the ground rise up to her. She slowly raised herself to her feet. She reached her hand down to her taser while he was still nearby. She shot it at him, not sure if it would hit or not due to still being disoriented by the kick. She had not expected it to be like this, she didn't expect someone this strong. She had only expected some hit men. She wasn't told what she was going up against.

Void felt the hooks from the taser shot at him bounce harmlessly off of his metallic body, obviously the woman didn't think her plan through very well. The woman was clearly disoriented and got in a lucky shot, and even though it proved ineffective if was a valiant effort all the same. Sure the woman was skilled, but if she had wanted to do any lasting damage she would need something with more kick to it than a taser. Reaching his right arm forward he attempted to grip the young woman's neck.

Chloe quickly shoved her Taser back into place as the man Grabbed her by the neck. She flailed in an attempt to escape to no prevail. She kicked him in the groin with one leg as his grip tightened. She began to freak out and flail. calm down, it's easier once you calm down. She thought to herself. She steadied herself and grabbed onto his arm. She kicked his leg and shoved his arm, once again to no prevail. I am so toast.
