Personality
Ben Matthew was one of the smartes kids when he went to high school, but he was also quite shy. Pepole often made fun of him due to how weak he was, and bullies often got to him, but that didn't keep him from doing good at school. Ben had great maners and was raised well by his father.

Ben Matthew is just a regular - but above average smart - 20 year old college guy that lives with his father on a ranch in west Houston, Texas. But that's until the ranch gets robbed, his father gets killed and Ben gets kidnapped by the so called robbers.

The beginning
Someone knocked on the door. Ben's father opened the door, and three masked men jumped in the door opening. Ben sat in the livingroom, and when he heard all the noise, he ran to the door. When he got to the robbers, he saw his own father laying on the flor with a crowbar in his chest. Ben screamed, and before he knew it one of the robbers put a bag over Ben's head, and hit him in the head.
When Ben woke up the other day, he was in a dark room. He tried to move, but his hands was chained to a metal chair. All he could se was the light by the exit door. "Hello?!" Ben screamed. He got more and more upset, kicking his feet in the air, trying to get out of the chair. Out in the darkness he suddenly heard a voice. "Hello, Ben. Welcome to the amethyst project", the dark voice said. Ben turned silent. He couldn't hear where the voice came from. "Who is this?!" Ben screamed out in the dark. "You have been transported to a headquarter far away from where you usally lived", the voice said. And out of the dark, a tall well-built man with purple hair appeared. "So this is how my chosen child looks like", the man continued. Ben was so confused. He looked at the tall man's face. He had a scar over his right eye, and three purple stars tattooed on his neck. "So let's get to it. Let me tell you the basics", the man said. He turned on the lights, and Ben instantly saw that he was in a large lab. "You see this melted amethyst stone?" he said, and in his hand he held a syringe with purple liquid. "No.. No, no, no!", Ben screamed. "This burning liquid has been tested on way too many pepole. The amethyst project has been going for ten years, and we are still looking for the person with the right bloodtype. If this liquid is mixed with the ONE and only right blodtype in the whole world, it will have the ultimate effect.". Ben looked at the man, and asked frightened: "the ultimate effect?". "Well we have tested the liquid on different pepole and animals. It have different effects, and give them different.. what can I call it.. powers." the man answered. Before he knew it the purple haired man stuck the sharp syringe stick in Ben's neck.


For 2 years Ben was forced to train with special top secret units outside US borders. Not until the 3rd year of training, Ben realized what the purple liquid had done to him. He gained much more from training than all the other soldiers, and so far, he was the youngest of the soldier, but still the best trained. When he was in an age of 25, he discovered more and more abilities that he had, such as that he's able to jump about 200 feet straight up, or that he has a heat vision of purple energy beams.
When he discovered these abilities, and had the power to control them, he managed to escape from the training camp.
When Ben reached sivilisation he started a whole new life, working in a car garage.
First as a hobby, Ben started to build metal wearings, such as a metal bullet-proof west, and a metal glove with special effects like shooting bullets of energy. Ben loves to design and build stuff.
When he had gotten into his daily life again, he started to think about his father. He started having crazy dreams about the three guys that killed his father, and this made Ben really upset. He wanted revenge, but most of all.. he didn't want something like what happened to him, happend to anyone else.

When Ben started to fight crime, he became a local hero, and went under the name "The Purple", but later announced that pepole should call him "Amethysto". He shows this by wearing a purple amethyst stone on his chest.


Costume Description:



Strong bullet proof west with in-built mini-rockets.
Right-handgear - can shoot energy bullets and purple (burning) lazer beams. Can also create a glossy light-purple energy shield.


Powers:

• Jump - Can jump up to 200 feet straigt up.

• Accuracy - An incredible marksman. When he is throwing an object, for instance, he will never miss the target he's throwing at.

• Force Field - Able to create a light-purple shield of energy (bullet proof).

• Super speed - Able to move very fast from one place to another.

• Mindcontrol - Able to move objects with his mind.

Roleplay excample:
Ben stood in his garage, working on a customers car. Suddenly a beeping sound comes from his office. He walks into the office, enters the code for the secret-room, and spots a red dot on his radar. "Looks like i've got a situation", he says, and opens his metal-closet, takes out his upper body-gear, hand-gear and his mask. "Showtime", he says, and runs out of the garage, jumping with direction -> the city.

When he arrives downtown, he jumps opp on a roof. Pepole are gasping and pointing at Amethysto, understanding that something is going on. When Amethysto spots a man getting beat up in a dark alley, he jumps over to the situation. Without a noise, he lands right behind the robber. "Hey punk", he says. The masked robber turns around, and says frightened: "Noo.. no! I've seen you before..". The robber has no choise, he takes up his gun, pointing it at Amethysto. Amethysto suddenly starts walking towards the robber. "Don't come any closer!", the roober said. Amethyst continued walking. Then the robber pulled the trigger. The bullet hit Amethyst's chest, but the bullet proof west covered it, and the bullet fell to the ground, not harming Amethyst at all. The robber pulled the trigger again. This time it headed straight for Amethyst's head. Amethyst knew what to do. He easily covered himself for the bullet by creating a glossy light-purple engery shield with his arm, with help of the arm-gear-gadget. Then he stood face to face with the roober. With all his strength he kicked the robber in his stomach, making the robber fly through the air and crunch into the wall in no time. The robbers victim was so frightened he said with a tiny voice to Amethyst: "th..thank you", and ran away.
Amethyst wasn't done. He walked over to the robber, grabbed him by his coat, and held him in mid-air. "If I ever see you doing something like this again, it's over, punk". He heard the sirenes of a police car, and threw the beaten-up (but still alive) robber in a dark corner. As the police came, Amethyst quickly disappeared from the crime scene, and jumped to another roof top.
He stood on the rooftop watching the sunset. "Another day as Ben Matthew, secret superhero".

With accuracy you will miss some targets when it comes to fighting other characters. I'm sure you meant he doesn't miss npcs you control, but just making sure that is out there.

You need to split the EP between telepathy and the force field. The more EP the stronger of course, but bullet proof can mean different things. Elaine uses her 5 int to power her specialty rounds; with 2 EP a force field would weaken them a little, but don't expect it to hold up to her attack.

EP is used for powers and INT is used for gadgets, so you could have the INT power your force field if it comes from a gadget. That would free up your EP to take care of telepathy that can lift objects.

Also if you could add in a paragraph or so of personality before the history and a short rp sample after the powers that would be keen.

But as I showed in the RP sample now, the energy shield comes from my heand-gear gadget, so that goes under INT, doesn't it?
