Aurora wasn't sure what all the fuss had been about. She had needed to get new clothes and they needed some other supplies in the house and she had offered to go. After pointing out that it was no weirder for a walking skeleton or a talking ape to go to the shop she had still been denied the chance to go into the town alone. In Auroras opinion she looked more 'normal' than they did. The only difference was the marks over her skin which made it look like bark, though if you touched her she had skin as soft as a humans. Her hair was a give away as well though, the auburn coloured hair mixed with leaves and ivy and branches. It gave her a odd look and of course her large elven like ears were a give away she wasn't exactly human. But hey! A tree lady blended in more than a skeleton or a rock giant did.

Aurora tugged on her top while she mulled over the plan in her head. She wanted to go into town and she wasn't going to wait until everyone else stopped being busy to do so. They treated her like a kid which wound her up more. She was older than a lot of them here she just... didn't know as much. She childishly pouted at her reflection and ran her eyes over the clothes they wanted her to wear so she didn't look inappropriate.
"Aurora just wait till I get back then we'll go together," she mimicked and humphed. "I can look after myself, right Leo?" she looked at the sabre tooth tiger stretched out on her bed.

The lazy cat made a noise in the back of his throat and flicked his tail in a lazy fashion, opening one slitted cat green eye to look at the small 4ft woman talking to him. Leo had grown attached to Aurora since the moment he had met her, probably because she was one of the oldest and reminded him of home, of the old years when everything was wild and smelt of Earth, smelt like her. He felt at home and relaxed with her and Aurora was one of the only people who could stop the cat from doing something stupid. He occasionally listened to Bones and the Ape had his respect and trust after he'd saved Leo's life. In answer to her question he yawned and re arranged his large body, a body which towered above the petite Dyrad when he was on all fours.

Aurora rolled her eyes and then scratched him behind the ears, smiling as he closed his eyes to enjoy the rub.
"Such a lazy kitty," she mumbled and then stood up and brushed her hands down her body. She was wearing her usual free flowing, hippy styled clothing. Today it was a rust orange coloured and a fringe of white tussles cut in a V shaped drew the eyes to her breasts and drew in her waist but made her look taller. She had put her feet in some flip flops and was putting money in her little bag which was slung over her shoulder.
"Right, I'm going, behave okay?" she flicked his nose and then wondered out of the room. Hearing a thump she rolled her eyes and soon was joined by Leo who nuzzled into her.
"You can't come I'm sneaking out," she whispered and hugged his neck, burying her face in his neck. Leo purred and lay down slowly then. Getting the hint Aurora climbed onto his back and clung to his mane.
"Don't do something crazy kitty," she warned as Leo stood and padded to one of the balconies in the large old house, crouched and leaped off of it, landing on the ground nimbly and padded off with Aurora on his back. Aurora was content to let him pad towards the town until they got close where she slid off his back and poked his nose.
"Stay, here," she said firmly, waiting till Leo sat before turning and walking off down the road.

Leo paused for a minute and then stood up and followed the small dyrad, casting looks at the other people who were scattering to the other sides of the street, staring at the large tiger in fear, or wonder in some of the kid cases.
