Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Nothing to lose; Everything to gain.
It was with an all-consuming boredom that Vulken stared at the small jade figurine. It was a delicately and intricately carved dragon, mouth agape and claws extended. He felt a slight affinity with it, with its rage and aura of violence. Yes, he was like this dragon. Teeth bared, eyes wild, ready to devour the opposition in a clash of blood and ivory. He gingerly ran his finger down its spiny back, taking a particular interest in the inlaid green gems that made its eyes. This one had been a good steal, and with a subdued fondness he remembered it.
''What's that you got, then?'' the waitress asked him, pouring a second cup of coffee. Vulken smiled, setting it on the small plastic table next to his plate that used to contain pancakes. ''A replica from the museum.'' he said blandly, giving her a gentlemanly nod as she finished pouring and stared at the dragon. ''Looks almost real.'' she said with astonishment. ''Ahh, yes, I picked a good one.'' he remarked, turning it to face her. ''It's almost like it could leap up and bite you, isn't it?''
She gave him a strange glance and went to attend to the rest of the restaurants patrons, and with a heavy sigh, he took another sip of coffee. With a slight ripple of shock, he noticed that blood stains dotted the cusp of his sleeve. He stared at them intently, letting the cup settle back down on the surface of the table. Vulken was too enthralled to notice the waitress edge her way to the phone and call the police, he was busy trying to recall who this blood belonged to. Perhaps it had been one of the security guards, or any of the handful of museum visitors that were unlucky enough to be in that particular exhibit's room.
It wasn't until the phone was hung back on the hook with a soft click that he looked up, the waitress was staring at him with fear in her eyes. ''Oh dear.'' he said softly, ''Please tell me you didn't do what I think you did.'' All around the room, knives rose trembling from their tables or the hands of those they belonged to, turning to face the now blanched waitress. Somewhere in the back, a woman screamed as the innocent waitress was perforated, blood spilling and spraying in wide arcs.
Vulken rose with trepidation, drinking as much coffee as he could before he had to honestly leave. With a gentle, almost parental grasp, he took the jade dragon from the table and slipped it into his pocket, giving it a reassuring pat as he advanced through the restaurant. Surprisingly, or perhaps not so, no one stopped him as he stepped onto the sidewalk, wincing slightly in the morning sun.

Re: Nothing to lose; Everything to gain.
Crime NEVER takes a holiday. it's a fact most heroes are forced to face. even for those who would rather live normal lives, there will always be those who edge them on, trying to get them to do the right thing. However, there will always be those who will say the word no no matter what. Few metahumans ever care about anyone else enough to even use their powers for anything.
Few metahumans are ever willing to be unselfish.
Jayron Farham is one of these people. From selfishness to heroics is probably one of the more humble sides of transformation for this man. But ever hero needs a villain. a counter balance for good and evil, and for Jayron Farham AKA Bubbleshock, that villain is Finn O'Connell AKA Vulken. The 2 men have different reasons for hating each other.
It was therefore no big surprise therefore that on the day in question on which our story begins, Jayron was looking for Vulken in haste. the news of the stolen replica of a jade dragon from a museum in London, had been a story that Jayron had been fortunate to hear about the moment it had come out earlier that day. All signs pointed to Vulken. The security guards had been found with nails and bolts imbedded in their bodies. Vulken's calling card to be sure. Jayron soon stopped outside a restaurant to rest. he'd been walking for some time now.
Suddenly, the sound of a woman's scream filled the air, followed by the unmistakable sound of knives and forks penetrating skin. It didn't take a rocket scientist to know what was happening.
Saints alive! well i don't think there’s any question about who's done THAT dirty deed. Well, O'Connell may call himself ''lawfully evil'', but there’s nothing lawful about murder. Looks like I’m going to have to make a scene of this. Now where did i put that vile?
After a few seconds of searching, Jayron found the vile of orange bubbleshock formula. Now all there was left to do was drink the stuff and cart Vulken off to the big house. Sneaking into a empty public lavatory, Jayron uncorked the vile and swollowed every last drop. A flash of orange light later, and The Tsar of Taser, Bubbleshock was ready and waiting. As he always would be.
A whilee later, he zoomed back to a back alley near the restaurant, just in time to see a blood stained Vulken exit the building. Smirking to himself, bubbleshock created a series of letter bubbles, and when Vulken was close enough, he let them loose. Instantly the bubbles spelled out the words. ''Hey Vulken!'' and under those the words. ''Guess who. 8) ''

Re: Nothing to lose; Everything to gain.
''Ahh, yes, old friend...'' he muttered, thoughtfully reaching up and gently tapping the large V that made up his name. It popped quietly, and he smiled. ''I should have known you would be hot on my trail. Tell me, do you enjoy being a nuisance or is it just my personal life that you constantly disrupt?'' His face turned sour as he swatted away the remaining bubbles, brow knitting as they all popped, barely making noise. Out from every pocket and fold in his clothing, small bits of metal began to pour out and slither around his feet. Bolts, nuts, nails, screws, and rings rose up like bugs, flitting around their master in lazy patterns.
About twenty or thirty small, thin needles spilled out from his sleeves, hitting the hard cement with beautiful chiming notes. Say what you will about his ends, the methods Finn used could be truly artistic. At least, that's what he thought as the needles began to surround his body, forming a sort of protective aura with their fine points. Let's see your bubbles get to me now... He thought spitefully.

Re: Nothing to lose; Everything to gain.
Big entrance time for our Tsar, and Bubbleshock ALWAYS knows how to make an entrance. Spinning round and round, faster & faster Bubbleshock created a mini tornado of tiny bubbles all around himself before spinning out of the alley, and infront of his nemesis. Now, the relationship between the two is slightly different. Vulken outright HATES Bubbleshock, due to his smiling, heroic, spritely & selfless nature & will do anything to put a permanant end to him.
Bubbleshock hates Vulken too, but due to his inability to take much seriously, the young hero sees the slightly older villain as a mock playmate. His favorate ''game'' is cops and robbers. And Bubbleshock ALWAYS wins. When Bubbleshock saw the metal objects Vulken carries in his pockets floating around their master, he laughed like a monkey.
Vulken Vulken Vulken. When are you gonna learn? The electricity from my bubbles can turn lead into dust. If it can do that to metals like tin, lead and mercury into piles of ash, what hope has your junk got against them?
To demonstrate as well as throw down the challenge to Vulken, Bubbleshock created a bubbleshield around himself. The thing was loaded with electricity. In his eyes, Vulken would be in jail before dinner.
All sources pointed to you as the guy who stole the jade dragon replica. Nails embedded in gaurds heads, needles stuck in their throats and eyes. Only you'd be that sick. And judging by the screams from that restaurant, you had to kill some poor woman to cover your tracks. Fat good THAT'LL do!
