The Long-Time Coming Reappearance of the First Major Threat to the World (PRIVATE - DEREK SKIBA ONLY)

A young boyscout was walking by himself through the streets of Atlanta when he heard a 'Psst' sound come from a nearby dark alley. He blinked in surprise and turned to see what appeared to be a gray suit with a black web-pattern that had a few splotches of red on it, though the head and face couldn't be seen. "Hey kid, do you wanna see a magic trick?" the 'man' in the 'costume' asked the kid in a whispering voice that was horribly high-pitched, as if it belonged to an insane clown. The child's eyes lit up and he raced into the alley. As the child disappeared into the darkness, a few tentacles came and wrapped around the boy's mouth and went up his nostrils to prevent him from screaming and breathing. All of a sudden, a large set of sharp, serrated teeth appeared as the face of the 'man' in the 'costume' appeared, revealing the gruesome face of a mutant that hadn't been seen for years. I call this trick 'The Disappearing Snothead'" said the creature known to those who are still alive by Chaos as he adjusted his mouth dripping with green saliva to open wide and swallow the child whole, chewing down on the remains. He let out a serious of insane cackles as he banged his head up and down. "DUDE, I totally freaking knew I was a great magician. Eat that Houdini" Chaos cackled before he let out a burp and burped out a nametag that the kid was wearing. Chaos seemed to blink his completely white, ghoulish eyes and read it. The name on the tag was 'Kenny.' Chaos blinked a few a times before he made his reaction. "Oh my god, I ate Kenny" he said to himself before immediately following up with "I'm a bastard." A long, uncomfortable silence accompanied the darkness of the alley before he started to cackle even harder then before. "HAHAHAHAHA, I KILLED KENNY" he said as he cackled hysterically, banging his head rapidly against the brick wall of the building he was facing, showing off his undying love for crazy as his long and thin snake-like tongue wagged around out of his mouth that dripped with green saliva.

Derek walked at a slow pace down the quite streets of Atlanta with his head hung low, staring at the sidewalk he stepped upon. With a cigarette held loosely between his lips and his hands dug into the pockets of his plain blue jeans, Skiba was just waiting for something to happen. With no where to go and nothing to do, he mindless walked for what seemed like hours. It was the break of dawn, and there was a chilly wind blowing through the air. The breeze felt nice for Skiba, he hasn't had the feeling of being chilly since before Project Perfection kidnapped him and transformed him to a man of steel. Thanks to the Black Knight he had his body back though, and was now just roaming around, living life as a superhero. Derek walked with his hair covering his eyes, only focusing on the ground in front of him. While walking, he noticed the feet hat belonged to a child walking past him. Stopping in his tracks, Derek peaked over his shoulder seeing the boy scout walking alone.
'It's not safe to travel alone at your age. What are you doing out here kid?' He said in a low voice, wondering what this boy was doing out by himself in these parts of town. The kid ignored Derek and kept walking. Who would'a though even the kids were jerks in this town. Whatever, let him do what he wants. Derek was a super-hero now, even though he may of deserved it he didn't need recognition for doing the right thing. Just being there when he was needed was enough to keep him going. Skiba began walking at the same slow and steady pace as before, waiting for the next stranger to ignore the guy who at some point would be saving there ass.

Derek didn't get far when he heard some kind of maniac screaming himself. Whatever it was about, it was something to do. Skiba stopped and turned around. Walking back in the direction he and the screaming came from. Right away he noticed that the kid wasn't on the side-walk anymore. It hadn't been long enough for him to of gotten that far. Something wasn't right, and Derek was gonna find out just what it was. Chaos began speaking again, this time yelling about eating 'Kenny'. Derek began to spring, getting to the ally way where Chaos was in no time. He turned the corner to see him, spit up a badge. It was clear to Skiba that this monster had just eatin that kid whole. Derek stepped into the ally way to get a better look at the mutant beast. To his surprise, the monster was none other then 'The Big Bad, Chaos', the former leader of SCAR. A evil organization that even GUN had trouble taking down. Derek didn't know much about the guy, but he knew from the stories this wasn't a guy to mess around with. Derek didn't hesitate a moment longer, coating his left hand, up to his fore-arm in lightning, "Chaos! What the hell are you doing here?" He yelled charging all of his energy into his lightning. His arm began to shock rapidly, sending out sparks lighting up the dark ally.

The gray-with-red-splotched-skinned mutant, the self-proclaimed 'Big Bad', stopped banging his head against the wall and seemed to blink in surprise. The 50 year old ghoullish-eyed goverment-created experiment turned to face Derek and stared at him, watching as Derek put on what he dubbed 'A shocking light show', which made him chuckle to himself a bit before turning serious and gave the Hero a wide, toothy grin, his long, green-saliva dripping tongue licking his practically non-existent lips and cracked his neck. "Well well well, what do we have here? A superbutt all by his lonesome. What's your superbutt name? Lightbulb, Doctor Light, ooh no wait, I got it, the Shocker. Do you make any puns like 'That must have put a shock to your system'?" he asked as he cackled hysterically as he formed the letter L for Loser and placed it on his forehead as he mocked the second Project Perfection-turned Hero. Chaos loved to mock any of the heroes because to him, they were just so lame, always crashing in on his fun time. He knew that his open mocking and borderline immature joke-making made people take him less seriously but that just made it all the much easier to kill the poor sap that stood in the way of his fun. To be honest with himself, he was a little surprised this fetus, which is exactly what Derek was compared to Chaos, actually knew of him, the self-proclaimed 'Big Bad'.

Derek waited, with his hand lite and ready for battle. Chaos's silly puns and head games wouldn't throw Skiba off gaurd. When dealing with a known villain it's always best not to under estimate them, or let them get the first hit in. As Chaos responded to Skiba, he truely lived up to the stories of being one of the craziest villains GUN's ever had the pleasure of fighting. Derek may have been alone but that doesn't mean he couldn't handle himself. Skiba had a bit of advantage in this fight. He knew his opponent pretty well, and for the most part also his capabilities. From what Derek has learned from the stories, Chaos can regenerate at a ridiculous rate, and he wasn't something to mess with when it came to strength or endurance either. With his strength, Skiba would have to play it safe if he planned on coming out of this victories. As of Chaos's fighting style, well thats something you can't really learn that from just hearing about the guy. Skiba would have to learn the rest about this guy through straight brawling with the psycho villain. His mouth oozed green saliva, and his sentence didn't really make any bit of sense. It doesn't seem like his changed a bit since the last time he showed his face. When Pain talked about Chaos, he did a good job at summing him up in just a single word. Insane. "I don't go by anything special. You'll just have to remember me as the guy who drags you to prison where you belong." Derek said in a rough voice, trying to intemidate the mutant. Even if his words were cocky, Skiba could back them up if he played his cards right.

Chaos gave Derek a deadpan stare before he started chuckling, which turned into some of the loudest, ear-splitting cackles he ever made. He couldn't help but laugh at this guy who thought there was any prison that could hold him. After all, it took all three members of G.U.N to take him on and this rookie actually thought he could take him, Chaos, the Big Bad. "I must admit Mr. Benjamin Franklin, you're a riot. If your superbutt career doesn't work out, maybe you could try out as a comedian, or better yet, a politician as that's even funnier to me" he cackled out, making a reference to the old government officials that created him, which is a reference only he would get as because he never told anyone of his history. Out of all the heroes and villains he faced, not one of them had ever mentioned taking him to jail as because to him, the idea was ludicrous. The only place any superbutt was gonna take him to was to a place to get cremated as because he wouldn't be taken alive by anybody.

Chaos chuckled but Derek's powers were nothing to be taken as a joke, under estimating them would only hurt Chaos in this fight. Chaos could be as powerful as he wants to believe he is, but when it comes down to it skills will show the superior not words. After Chaos made yet another pun, and continued on with his jokes. Derek was getting fed up with this bastard villain, and it was time get to the fun part. The lightning on Skiba's left hand started to fade away, and he moved his arm back down to his side. He had another combo attack in mind that could work better for these situation. Derek clenched his right hand into a fist, then moved it out in front of him almost looking as if he were striking a fighting stance. "Thats enough Chaos, you can think of all of this as one big joke, but we'll see just how funny you think it is when I'm through with 'ya." After opening the palm of his hand, a energy shield appeared around Chaos, this was the first step in Derek's combo. With his free hand, Skiba threw his left hand in the air summoning a heavy bolt of lightning from the ground beneath Chaos. With the shield around him, the lightning bolt couldn't cause any harm to the city because it would be contained, and the damage done to Chaos would be unchanged. Derek did this actions in one quick, fluid action making it more difficult for Chaos to dodge, but also making his attack slightly weaker then it's capability. Chaos would be sure to walk away from this attack even if it hit, but it would be a good start, and set up for his next attack.

Chaos blinked in surprise when he saw the shield encase him and only had enough time to blink before he was struck by the bolt of lightning. He hissed out loudly as the electrical current coursed through his veins. He had multiple burns on his slimy body but they already started to heal. He struck the ground hard enough to create a large hole that went to the sewers and jumped into it, intending on getting out of that encasing shield he was trapped in. He then moved about 12 feet away from the hole and punched his way out of the sewers and into the alley again. As he made his way out of the hole, he turned a few of his wildly waving tentacles into spinning hacksaws and sent them at Derek with the intent of slicing him into bloody pieces with his spinning sawblades of doom.

The combo attack was a success and Derek had landed a good opening hit on Chaos. Surely it wouldn't be enough to keep him down, with his super-human endurance and healing factor, but it was a good start to a great battle. Chaos punched a hole in the ground then dropped into it, probably landing in some kind of sewage dump below. He was out of Skiba's eye sight, so he couldn't hit him with lightning attacks from a distance. It looked like this was gonna get turn into a old fashion brawl soon. Derek moved his hands into a his boxing stance, and kept his hand wide open with his fingers pointing straight out. Ready for Chaos to make his re-entrance. Expecting a attack from below or at least right beside him, it was a surprise that Chaos jumped out a good distance away from Skiba. He might of been able to get a quick, easy hit in if he had done a sneak attack from behind, but I guess Chaos had other plans. Upon entrance Chaos sent tentacles out like at Derek. Spinning at extremely fast rates, even Derek's endurance would break after being hit from that kind of damage for too long. As the tentacles started to soar through the air at Derek, he knew he couldn't evade the attack and even if he could, Chaos could just keep his tentacles moving towards at him. He went with his gut on this one. He did the first thing that came to mind, creating a energy wall about a foot out in front of him. The tentacles stabbed into the wall, but didn't break it. They only pierced in a few inches before coming to a stop, but they kept on spinning. Breaking through little by little, Derek had to make his attack quickly, because his energy wall wouldn't hold forever. Now that he had time to think, he had some-what of a idea. Coating his entire hand in lightning just as he'd done before, Derek was preparing for a attack. Shrinking the right side of the wall inwards so the it was still wide enough to keep the tentacles at bay, but thin enough so Derek's arm would reach around and have a clear shot at Chaos. This didn't mean that Chaos wouldn't use the shrinking of the shield to his own advantage, but Derek was hoping he wouldn't think of that quick enough to make a counter attack. Launching the lightning bolt out of his right hand around the side of the wall at Chaos, Derek was hoping this would cause him to retract his tentacles so this battle could get more physical instead of keeping him at a distance. Skiba was looking to have a brawl with the legendary super-villain,

Chaos!

Chaos narrowed his ghoullish eyes slightly in irritation as his hacksaw tentacles were stopped by a shield of lightning. He kept up the force of his tentacles as he attempted to break through the shield. He frowned slightly, wondering what Derek was gonna do by gathering that lightning energy into his arm, his eyes managed to catch the small lowering of the defense of the shield on the right and grinned to himself as he morphed one of his tentacles into a fist and launched it right at the right side of Derek's shield right as Derek launched out the blast of lightning, the two attacks soaring past each other. If Chaos wanted to land a solid blow against this little brat, he would need to watch his maneuvers. So, he bent forward quite a bit so the blast of lightning would soar past him, never letting up the constant, never-ending barrage of tentacles even as they got hit with a bit of the static charge from the blast, sending a bit of the electric current into his body and burning him slightly, his healing factor taking care of the injuries he received.

((OOC: My shield is not made of lightning, it is just a wall of energy. Also just so you know, 'Energy shields' only block energy based attacks, people can walk through no problem. 'Energy Walls' block everything. There also transparent so we can still see eachother through them.))

Derek's energy wall was holding the mutants tentacles in place fairly well, and his lightning bolt was shot out around the corner. However, Chaos saw the shrinking of the wall just as quickly as Derek could do it. He quickly made and launched yet another tentacle out around the opening. This tentacle was shaped like a fist, and was heading right at Derek's jaw. All he could do while the tentacle hurdled towards him, was brace for impact. After making his attack he was left open for one as well, there was no hope of dodging and Derek knew it. His reflects weren't trained well enough for him to react to something moving towards him that quickly. Planting his feet firmly on the ground, Derek prepared himself for the powerful blow in store for him. Right before the fist collided with the right side of Derek's jaw, he looked through his shield. Only one word came to mind after seeing his attack just gracing over Chaos, and the fist that was about to smash right into his jaw. "Damn..."

He was just barley able to utter the word before the fist collided with his jaw causing him to slightly stumble to the left. Preparing for that attack let him hold his ground. His body only slid a few inches from the punch, but his face turned sharply to the left. Being clobbered like that sure hurt like hell, but it wasn't enough to stop Derek from reacting, and paying Chaos back for all the damage. With all the adrenaline pumping through him, he quickly moved his right hand, gripping a hold of the tentacles wrist. While turning his face back up, he began to laugh sinisterly at Chaos. Staring straight through his shield into Chaos's blank, zombie like eyes, he charged electricity into the palm of his hand, causing thousands of volts to run through Chaos's veins. Chaos may have the strength to get out of Derek's grip, but not faster then the speed of electricity!

Chaos started smirking to himself a bit as he saw Derek take the punch straight in the chin but only stumbled back a bit. That meant that he had some pretty Durability, not as good as Pain's but still pretty good. Looks like he would have to get a little more serious. He narrowed his ghoullish eyes a bit as he watched Derek grasp his tentacle by it's 'wrist' and held on tightly. He could tell by the grip alone that his physical strength wasn't anything to worry about. However, what made his eyes widen ever so slightly was seeing Derek charge up electricity and send what appeared to be a very high amount of voltage of energy through the tentacle he had in his grip. He quickly cut off the appendage with some small regret, feeling only 2-3 seconds of an electric shock. He saw the tentacle he cut off quickly dry up and then turn into ash as he regrew the one he just cut off. Chaos didn't waste his opportunity. He quickly ran forwards and punched the ground with enough strength to send a shockwave strong enough to throw Derek off possible, which he quickly followed up with sending a shuffling side kick to Derek's stomach with all his strength.

Derek watched Chaos detached his tentacle and began sprinting forward at him. It was nice for Skiba to see that his lightning could do good damage to Chaos, even if he could he could regenerate it over time, if Derek could keep up the damage maybe he could actually beat this legendary super-villain! As Chaos sprinted towards Skiba, he punched the ground creating a shockwave, only it had little effect Derek since there was still a good distance between the two, and Derek's amazing super-human endurance was enough to withstand Chaos's brute strength. All Derek had to do was put both of his forearms up in front of him to block the wave of wind. He kept his arms a small distance apart so he wouldn't be blind to Chaos's next move.

Chaos quickly closed in the gap, and leaped off the ground forward at Skiba, doing a round-house kick directly in the center of Derek's stomach. Skiba was going with his gut instinct, just moving his left fore-arm down slightly so Chaos's kick would be blocked, and Derek would still be able to attack with his free hand. The kick collided with his fore-arm and caused Skiba to slide across the ground about a foot, but this only set his next attack up even more. Covering his right hand in lightning, Derek opened his hand and attempted to push the palm of his hand into Chaos's chest. With the amount of electricity he could produce, this attack would surely do some damage if it were to actually connect with Chaos. The only downfall of this attack was that he was extremely open for a attack. This was the cost of keeping the damage up on Chaos, so his regeneration couldn't help him out so much.

Chaos could see the was open but he had a feeling he would need to get hit in order to attack the man. So, he formed his right arm into a blade and thrusted it at his chest with the intent to impale him, getting hit with the electricity full on. However, the good thing was that now that Chaos's body had electricity coursing through it, it would serve to act as a lightning rod and send some of Derek's energy attack right back at him.

Derek watched his hand perfectly make contact with Chaos's chest. A good hit, but at high costs. During Skiba's move, sometime between when he was blocking and striking, Chaos was setting up for a attack of his own. His 'hand' changed shape, transforming into a sharp and deadly sword like figure. Skiba had no chance of blocking his 'hand' from piercing into him, but he could at least move slightly so the attack wasn't anywhere fatal. He slide another few inches to the right so Chaos would stab just below his left shoulder, but away from his heart or any other vital organs.

The second the sharp tentacle, hand, or sword whatever Chaos wanted to call it, pierced into Derek's shoulder, he felt his own electricity flowing through him, shocking the shit out of both of them. This wasn't the first time someone had been able to turn his electricity against him, but this was still unexpected from Chaos. Derek had trouble moving for the first few seconds of being shocked, but he weakened the power he was putting into his right hand so he could do something about the 'hand' pierced into his shoulder without letting Chaos out of his grip. With the weakening of the electricity current, Chaos was sure to make another attack, but not faster then Derek could. Now that his left hand was free from blocking the kick, Skiba used the extra power he had from weakening the electricity in his right and hand to power his left. Coating the bottom of his left hand in lightning, Derek attempted to use his hand like a chainsaw and cut Chaos's tentacle off. He would keep shocking himself through this whole event, but it was well worth it to free himself from the electricity current without letting Chaos out of his grasp. If his chainsaw maneuver would work then he would move the power back the hand he had still touched Chaos's chest, that is if Chaos hadn't already done something to stop him.

As electricity coursed through his body, he kept feeling his healing factor healing his wounds as fast as possible that kept reappearing. While it was having difficultly healing him, he had a feeling that Derek himself didn't have a healing factor to heal his wounds with and this was showcased by him weakening the power of his electric current. Chaos saw him lift up his left hand that had lightning gathering through it and grabbed the man's arm by his elbow with his free hand, managing to block his attack. He then turned his tentacles into daggers and launched them at him. Chaos's plan was simple, stab him over and over until he died or at least made some distance between them.
