The Long-Time Coming Reappearance of the First Major Threat to the World (PRIVATE - DEREK SKIBA ONLY)

As electricity coursed through his body, he kept feeling his healing factor healing his wounds as fast as possible that kept reappearing. While it was having difficultly healing him, he had a feeling that Derek himself didn't have a healing factor to heal his wounds with and this was showcased by him weakening the power of his electric current. Chaos saw him lift up his left hand that had lightning gathering through it and grabbed the man's arm by his elbow with his free hand, managing to block his attack. He then turned his tentacles into daggers and launched them at him. Chaos's plan was simple, stab him over and over until he died or at least made some distance between them.

With the weakening of the current of lightning coursing through his right hand, Chaos was able to grip a hold of Derek's elbow with his free hand. The second Derek saw that his attack wouldn't be able to connect with Chaos, he stopped exerting power in that hand since it would just be a waste. While Chaos gripped a hold of Derek, he also created more tentacles from his body. Skiba's next move was clear. While Chaos was still forming more tentacles, Derek stopped all of the electricity in his right hand and pulled it away from Chaos's chest. While pulling it back, he also took a step back. He couldn't move far because Chaos still had a grip of his elbow, and still had his hand stuck in to Skiba's shoulder, but while he was pulling back, he saw Chaos's new tentacles finish taking their shape. These were shaped similar to the one that was stuck in his shoulder, and started to fly straight towards him. "Shit!" He yelled, then used his right hand, which was now free, to create a energy shield between him and Chaos.

The wall was very large, reaching to both walls on ally, and was about 10 feet high. Chaos's hand was still pierced into Skiba's shoulder, and was sticking through the shield along with the hand that was holding onto his elbow. The wall was connected to Skiba's right hand, which was only a couple feet from Chaos. His tentacles stabbed into the energy shield, and dug a few inches in, just as they had done the last time. After doing this, Derek's next moves were very limited. It took a lot of power to hold a wall of this size while Chaos was stabbing into it with his tentacles, so he decided to try and do something about that hand stuck into his shoulder. Wth his left hand, he gripped a hold of Chaos's hand, and attempted to pull it out. Even though Chaos was stronger then him, maybe he could get it out with the wall between them and Chaos not having much room to move or apply pressure. Even though Chaos had a grip on Derek's elbow, it couldn't stop him form bending his arm, if anything him pulling on his elbow would only help him get that hand out of his shoulder. If Chaos were to keep stabbing the wall he would break through soon, but if Derek would get out of his grip first, then he could have a better chance of fighting him hand-to-hand.

Chaos cackled a mad clown-like cackle as he heard Derek curse out as he saw the incoming blade tentacles, feeling the electricity disappear from his body and almost sighing in relief as he felt his healing factor start to take over and healing him of his wounds, though it would take quite a bit of time for the side-effects of being electrocuted to completely go away. He was under no delusions to think he would win just yet but he always got a kick out of his opponents panicking, no matter how quickly the panic went away. After all, it just showed that they realized he was a fair bit tougher then they realized. However, his cackling stopped and turned into an angry hiss as his blade tendrils were prevented from impaling the foolish little human that had the nerve to think he could defeat him. Though his arms were still inside the wall, one of which was still impaled in Derek's shoulder, he would need to make absolutely sure this ickle superbutt learned his place and he will, oh yessy yessy yes he was going to learn it. After all, children shouldn't face their superiors, face those stronger then them as because they almost always got hurt.

He quickly got a hold of his straying thoughts and focused back on his enemy. He started repeatedly stabbing at the barrier shielding Derek from his inevitable death. He could feel that the barrier was weakening the more he stabbed and attacked it with his incredibly dangerous tendrils. However, he felt that wasn't enough so he had come up with a deliciously nasty idea. There was one specific blade of his that was inside the barrier, the blade he had stabbed into Derek's shoulder. While his arm blade was still impaled in Derek's shoulder, he had started twisting it and dragging it downwards diagonally left through his body in an attempt to slice him open. Just to top that off, while he still had a grip on Derek's elbow, he chose to form his fingers into small blades and used his morphing abilities to make them extremely sharp, attempting to stab them into his arm one at a time all the way in in the attempt of keeping his hold on Derek. After all, he couldn't just let him get away after he ruined his fun, oh no he couldn't. He needed to learn just why he was feared, respected and infamous. He needed to learn that he should not have approached him, Chaos, the Big Bad. After all, there are just some people you shouldn't cross, otherwise you would find yourself into some extremely fatal trouble. Chaos will admit though that he had some small amount of fun playing with this human. He did manage to wound him quite a bit and give even his healing factor a bit of trouble with healing wounds. He almost felt the urge to give the man respect but he immediately crushed that as the only person he ever really showed respect to was Pain and that was because said man had actually beaten him a few times.

Derek was running out of options, and Chaos wasn't letting up. Skiba's shield kept Chaos's tentacles at bay, but with one arm being gripped tightly by the dreeded Big Bad, Derek could only do so much. He was going up against one of the strongest opponets he had ever faced, but he wasn't out yet! No mutant freak was gonna take him down just because he was able to get a good hit in! All Derek had to do was get the blade out of his shoulder and he'd be back in the fight in no time. Skiba got all of his thoughts together and was ready to make his move when a shock of pain ran down Skiba's spine when he felt Chaos's arm start to twist, cutting a bigger hole into his shoulder. Skiba knew he had to something before Chaos could do any more damage. The second he felt the blade try to move, Derek made his move.

Gripping ahold of Chaos's arm with both hands now, Derek was able to stop Chaos from cutting into his chest. With all of his strength, Chaos's hand pulliing back on his elbow, and his super-human durability backing him up, Derek was able to stop Chaos from cutting through him. Using all these bonuses, Derek jumped off the ground and swung himself forward, so his feet were planted on he energy shield in front of him, in a laying down posision. Using all of his power Derek shot huge amounts of electricity out of his feet, launching him away from Chaos. However it came at a great cost. The blade stuck into his should ripped upwards, tearing up his colar bone and if nothing was done soon, alot of blood. With the shield hold Chaos's arm from moving to far, Derek was able to break free of his grasp, at the cost of most movement in his left arm and a lot of his energy.

As Derek soared backwards through the air, he let out a gasp for air. He was winging himself by using so much energy at once, but it's what had to be done or else Chaos would have cut straight through him. He flew back all the way out of the ally, past the street and smashed into the wall of a store across the road. Smashing against the wall didn't really hurt to much with his endurance, most of the pain was coming from the gash in his shoulder. Skiba quickly slapped one hand over the wound, and with the other, he ripped off part of his sleeve of his shirt and began to wrap it around his left shoulder. Tieing it in a knot, Derek had little time to recover before Chaos would return. His shield couldn't hold him much longer now that he wasn't near it and was putting a very little to none energy into it.

Skiba rose to his feet, with his left arm swung down at his side, and his right hand balled up into a fist in front of his. Derek was getting messed up, but he had the determination to beat this mutant! He'd only need one arm to finish the job anyway! Derek began to swerve, even on his feet it was hard to keep his balance with the loss of blood, but if he played it safe he could keep going for quite some time.

He was pushed back by the electric blast Derek shot out of himself but as he was pushed back, though he remained a little giddy when he saw that he partially cut through his collarbone, a lot of blood leaking out. He was slammed through a wall by the momentum and grunted as he skidded across the floor of what appeared to be an antique shop. He got back up to his feet and ran off in the direction Derek was blasted into, brushing off some rubble and dust that stuck to his form when he slammed through the wall. He saw the indentation of the wall that Derek went through and stalked over to it, seeing Derek come staggering out, his left arm cut up and practically useless. Derek could hide it as much as he wanted and it wouldn't matter because Chaos could tell he wasn't all that able. He's fought plenty of people and he could tell when they have been weakened and he could tell that Derek has been weakened by quite a bit. "Still think you can beat me ickle superbutt? Don't you get it yet? I am the Biggest of the Big, the Baddest of the Bad, the Big Bad. A foolish little fetus like you can't beat me" he shouted out to Derek as he formed both of his arms into blades.

Through the dust clouds down the dark ally across the street, Chaos appeared. Derek stood on his far side of the sidewalk, with his left arm slouched down at his side. Movement in his left arm was very limited, and blocking with that arm would be immpossible, or at least inavactive against someone like Chaos. Derek would have to rely on his electricity to finished Chaos. Skiba could try and hide his pain, but when he couldn't move his arm without his colar bone sending waves a pain down his spine, Chaos would catch on. He may not be the smartest of guys, but he has been around, and if Skiba didn't do something soon, he would start aiming for his shoulder.

As Chaos stepped out of the ally and onto the sidewalk across from Derek, he began to yell his gibberesh and stupid puns. Skiba started to chuckle at Chaos, "Tell me Chaos, if you're so big and bad...." There was a pause between his sentences, when his chuckling caused him to move his shoulder, sending more waves of pain through his body. "...How come Pain mopped the floor with you every time ya' fought?" His right fist opened, extending to fingers out, Derek began to charge up all of his energy into the tip of his fngers. "You speak to soon Chaos, this fight is far from over!"

Chaos's face split into a huge, shark-like grin as he circled around Derek like he was a shark that smelled blood and was circling him like he was his prey. The amount of blood pouring out of Derek's shoulder caused the coppery scent of blood to permeate throughout a fair bit of the area, the blowing winds carrying the scent farther then it would normally. He lived for the bloodshed, pain and murder and these circumstances were no different then his usual 'artistry'. The sight of Derek's blood pouring out of his wound filled Chaos with a sickening pleasure, feeling mighty pleased with himself at inflicting the obviously painful, very bloody wound upon Derek's form. What made him enjoy it even more was that Derek got in the way of his fun like most superbutts did and he didn't like it when someone got in the way of his fun-time. When someone got in the way of his fun-time, they died bloody and painful deaths that would be carved into the minds of those who saw it, seeing it in their nightmares for years and causing them to go through therapy to help them get over the gruesome sight. It's not his fault all the squishies and superbutts didn't have the stomachs or hearts to do what he does, to do what he lives for. Oh no, he was one-of-a-kind, at least he figured himself to be one-of-a-kind. He WAS the Big Bad after all.

He quickly snapped himself out of his thoughts when he heard Derek say something. His brain absorbed the taunting question Derek threw at him and just as soon as he absorbed it, he scowled in an angered manner. How DARE this little fetus mock him about him not having beaten Pain even after all of these years. Pain WILL be defeated and killed...but by his hands and his hands only. He knew he could do it, he knew he could accomplish it. He had come very close to doing that quite a few times and he would be damned if this CHILD would mock him about his failure to beat Pain. He's acting as if beating Pain is so easy to do. He'd like to see this ickle superbutt beat Pain on even ground. Oh sure, Pain has lost, that is true but it was against people who had some type of unfair advantage against the big man. He refused to be like all those other cheaters just to beat Pain. No, he wanted to beat him on even ground and he WILL. Before he did that, he would need to put this little brat in his place. "Why you little crap" he growled in annoyance as he gritted his teeth together, grinding them and gnashing them against each other. He punched the ground with his full strength, creating a large amount of shaking in the ground, using it to throw his opponent off-balance, following it up by turning his tentacles into blades and flinging them at him wildly, doing large amounts of stabbing maneuvers that he aimed all over Skiba's body.

Channeling every bit of his energy into his index and middle finger, Derek was preparing to make his final attack. Skiba never was the smartest guy, but he knows he can't beat Chaos with his left arm all cut up like it was. He was talking big just a second ago, but in his head Derek knew he wasn't going to beat Chaos if he kept fighting him this way, Chaos was much physically stronger then Derek was. Even with his super human endurance, Chaos was being able to do consistent damage. Derek had his sleeve wrapped around his shoulder, but still blood dripped from his shoulder. Chaos was so over come with lust for his ability to make Derek bleed that he didn't seem to notice or at least pay attention to what Derek was creating. At the tip of is fingers was enough electric force to blast a huge hole straight through Chaos. When Derek made the remark about Chaos's inability to defeat Pain, his mind seemed to be swayed. So many thoughts probably ran through The Big Bad's crazy head. The reminder of his defeat must have pissed Chaos off, Derek could hear his teeth grinding madly in his mouth, Skiba was using the little extra time from distracting Chaos to increase the power of his attack. One good attack is all Derek would need to finish this fight. Even though he wouldn't be able to capture Chaos, wounding him and living to fighting another day seemed pretty nice right now.

It was time to finish this. Derek had stalled Chaos as long as he could and was able to build up a large sum of energy, hopefully it would be enough attack to stabilize Chaos at least long enough to get his colar bone fixed up and get his breath back. Chaos slammed his fist into the ground creating a small shockwave. It was powerful, but it wouldn't be enough to knock Derek off his feet. When the wave hit at Skiba, it blew his hair back and made him slide back a few inches, but he made sure to not let it disturb his charging. Chaos's attacks were getting predictable, he'd have to get more original with his tentacles if he expected to stop Derek from blowing a hole through his chest. The shockwave that Chaos sent out before launching his tentacles caused Derek to squint his eyes, but he could still see the second attack coming. Chaos had launched three different tentacles at Derek, trying to cut him up even worse. Chaos clearly had the intentions of killing Derek, so he was a bit jumpy and had to try and avoid being hit at all cost. Derek leaned forward and ducked, letting the first tentacle fly right over his head, then he jumped forward. Twisting his body a little to the side to aviod a fatal injury from the second tentacle, Chaos's tentacle only scraped against the side of Derek's ribcage, causing another gash on Dereks body, but at least it didn't peirce into him and he was still able to keep moving. With his super-human speed Derek closed in the gap quickly, even with his tentacles, Chaos couldn't stop Derek! When he was only about eight feet away, Chaos's last tentacle stabbed straight into the left side of Derek's ribs. The tentacle only pierced a few inches before Derek's endurance held him from digging any deeper. The tentacle broke maybe one or two of his ribs, but with all the adrenline pumping through his veins, Derek barely felt a thing. The last tentacle stopped Skbia from moving, but he was close enough to insure a hit on his attack. Standing barely a couple yards from Chaos, Derek held his arm out, forming a gun with his two fingers. "It's over Chaos!" At this point Chaos would start to get the picture. Seeing the bits of electricity coming from the tip of his fingers, Chaos would soon notice the strength of the attack about to be shot at him. "Bang." Releasing all the energy at once, Derek felt the large bolt of lightning soar from his finger straight towards the center of Chaos's chest. The sher force behind the attack sent Derek flying back into the wall once again. The bolt flew out like a bullet, with one of his tentacles attached to Derek, Chaos had little chance to dodge this attack. He was a stuborn person anyway, even if he saw the attack coming he would probably not think it was a big deal until he got hit by it.

Chaos's eyes widened as he practically felt the power of the attack coming straight at him. He was hit straight in the chest, a hole being blasted through it, though it wasn't able to avoid hitting anything fatal as he was blasted backwards by the attack and slammed through a wall. He stood up and looked down at his chest, feeling the incredible pain of the attack and noticed the hole in it. "Why you little crap. You will pay for this" he hissed out as he clutched the hole in his chest with his right hand. He partially blamed himself for letting himself be angered by Derek's comment about his inability to defeat Pain. He just couldn't help it that such comments really rubbed him the wrong way. The blood poured freely from the hole in his chest and although his healing factor was practically unmatched by all, it would stick take quite a bit of time for it to heal. He started walking towards Derek, his left hand morphed back into a blade. He had no doubt in his mind that such an attack would have really weakened Derek and although Chaos himself was weakened quite a bit by the attack, it wasn't enough to put him down or force him to retreat.

Derek slammed in the brick wall behind him, again. He dropped down onto on knee again, and clamped onto his left shoulder. Derek grunted loudly, the pain from his injury was really started to take over, and being slammed into a wall with that much force didn’t make him feel any better. As a small amount of blood still dripped from his shoulder, Derek tried to get back to his feet. He started to push himself back up, but he fell back down onto the floor, expect he landed on his face this time. Derek lay there for a moment and rest until he finally looked up and saw Chaos climbing out of the chunks of concrete wall that buried him. ”Lame…” Derek was hoping that would have finished him off, but Chaos just kept coming. Frustrated with himself, Derek slammed his good hand against the concrete ground. He knew he had to be stronger then this, but he couldn’t even move his left arm, how was he suppose to beat Chaos now?

Despite the odds stacked against him, Derek tried to get back up again. Using his left arm to brace himself, Derek started to push himself back up. Once he finally stood up, even he was surprised his own feet were able to hold him. He figured he would collapse again, but Derek was able to maintain his balance and keep on his feet. His stance was anything but professional though. He was hunched over, with his left arm dangling in front of him and his right hand held up blocking his face. As Chaos approached, a sly smirk came across Derek’s face. ”Come and get me then!” Skiba shouted out of breath, but still powerfully.”You keep making yourself out to be this big bad guy, but your just like any other freak with some serious issues. So quit fooling around and hit me with whatcha’ got already!” Derek knew he was asking to be killed, but he had idea. He wasn’t sure if it would work, but it was much better then sitting here and waiting for this freak to kill him.

Chaos cackled to himself psychotically, seeing the very injured state in which Derek was in. He knew he was now currently a hungry shark circling it's wounded prey and he was going to enjoy this feast of bloodied up superbutt, oh yes he was. It's been a long time since he ate a superbutt and he was going to enjoy eating this foolish hatchling that would DARE to mock him and think he was a match for him. Only the biggest of the big superbutts even stood a chance against him and he wasn't going to let some rookie mock him. He stopped in his tracks, his eyes narrowing in anger when the fool would dare to mock him. "Let's see how confident you are superbutt when I hack you to pieces and feast on your remains. I haven't had superbutt in a long time and I am anxious to taste the deliciousness again" he said as he turned his tentacles into their bladed form before stretching them out and launching them at him with the intent to skewer him in all of his vital organs.

Even in this bad situation, Derek kept a cocky smirk stretched across his face. He wasn’t at all giving Chaos the satisfaction he so desperately wanted; In fact, Skiba made sure to throw in every hurtful comment at him possible. It was all part of his whole ‘master plan’ to stop Chaos in the end; However, Derek was still unsure if it would even work out for him. He knew that he had to beat Chaos somehow. It was either that or his certain death, so Derek stopped playing the tough guy game and began trying to out strategize against Chaos. At this point it was clear that because of Chaos’ strength, Derek could not beat him head to head, but from the gapping hole in the big bad’s chest, Skiba did prove that out smarting him wasn’t a very difficult task. So after a brief time of thinking while Chaos was limping towards him, Derek thought of how he would put his big plan into action, or at least the beginning of it... For starters, Derek wanted to make it seem as if his feet were about to collapse from underneath him, which wasn’t a very hard thing to do in his condition; But Chaos still grossly under estimated Derek’s endurance and ability to get up after being knocked down so many times.

So Derek held a lazy stance, and let his knees wobble back and forth as Chaos babbled on about ‘superbutts’ or whatever. At this point Derek was too lost in his owns thought to even care about what Chaos was rambling on about. It wasn’t until the big bad actually morphed his tentacles into their blade formation again and launched them forward that Derek broke free from his thought process and began implementing it. Skiba immediately raised his good forearm up in front of his torso, and created another, smaller wall of electricity. The electricity immediately sent of blinding flares of immense light off in each direction as if formed a protective shield in front of Derek’s chest and organs.

Skiba glanced down as the tentacles pierced into small shield but were unable to completely break through just as they did before. Derek held his smirk and looked back up at Chaos. ”Come'on Chaos, you’re gonna’ have to do much better then that.” The young superhero shouted out, taunting his powerful opponent. Skiba held the shield, but didn’t send out a counter attack at Chaos. His plan went in another direction, that at first may have seemed ineffective, but if it panned out even slightly how Derek pictured, it would be worth it. Besides, Derek could feel the pressure behind Chaos’ attacks and if were to launch a counter attack with his shield, then he would surely suffer for it; he had to play defensive for now.

Chaos grit his serrated, long, dagger-like teeth in anger. This guy just kept coming. Well, he would have to fix that. Seeing his tentacles being blocked by a shield only increased his anger over how this fool still managed to put up a fight. He couldn't have possibly gotten so old that his skills and viciousness had diminished. Perhaps the next generation of heroes might have been just a bit tougher then the generation of heroes and villains he was used to. He didn't let that bother him though as he tried to think up a way that would help him break through that shield. He looked around and noticed an abandoned eighteen wheeler with both the truck and the trailer. He grinned nastily to himself as he walked over to the semi, stretching his tentacles out and keeping them attacking the shield and picked up the truck and trailer. He then threw it at him, hoping it would have been good enough to shatter through the shield. While the truck sailed at it and was in Derek's line of vision, he jumped up into the air and landed on the truck, slamming his legs down to send the truck and trailer slamming down on top of Derek as he retracted his tentacles.

For now, playing defensive was working for the young hero. His shield was holding up against Chaos’ tentacles just as they did before, and Derek could hear the frustration boiling up inside the Big Bad as his teeth grinded together furiously. A sly smirk came across Skiba’s face as his plan was all falling into place. Chaos was getting pissed and if all went well for the hero; the legendary murderer would slip up and fall right into his trap. But little did Derek know, Chaos was working on a plan of his own. Skiba was forced to hold his ground through the barrage of tentacles; meanwhile Chaos began backpedalling, slowly increasing the length of his tentacles, and his distance between Derek. Which was the opposite of what Derek wanted. As the smirk faded into a scowl, Derek finally realized what Chaos was up to. The Big Bad gripped a fierce hold of a parked semi-truck, and made a sickening grin at Derek before launching the enormous truck straight at him. Though Chaos had more planned then that; as the truck flew forward, using his tentacles Chaos pulled himself to the top of it, and once it was directly over Skiba, Chaos stomped down on the roof of the truck. With his eminence strength the truck slammed into the ground and caused a massive crater five feet deep all around the diameter of the semi’.

Derek had little time to react to the devastating attack, but he knew if he didn’t avoid this attack; Chaos would end it right there. All Derek had time to do while the truck hurled his way was drop to his right. Using what little strength Derek still had left he pushed himself just far enough out of the semi’s range to not be crushed. Skiba slammed onto the ground and gripped a tight hold of his bad shoulder trying to numb the pain. As he landed on his other shoulder spikes of pain down his spine. Even landing on his ‘good side’ couldn’t protect him from the pain, though that was still much better then being under that semi. As Derek hit the floor, he slide at least ten feet across the ground from the shockwave caused by the semi. As dust covered the street Derek attempted to get back to his feet. He limbed onto one knee, and looked up to the semi. As the dust began to clear he could see Chaos still standing on top of the semi laughing like a madman at the destruction he caused. Derek grinded his teeth together at all the chaos around him; he was growing tired of Chaos and his games. This had gone on long enough; Derek had to end this now, before more people got hurt. ”That’s enough! You’ve caused this city far too much trouble today. Derek then released the grip on his bad shoulder, and let his broken arm hang low, while he made a fist out of his good hand. He clenched his fist tight and shots of lightning began sparking off of it in all directions. Sending whatever power still remained in his body to his fist, Derek began preparing for one last attack. ”I’m gonna' end this here and now!” Skiba then pulled his fist back and started charging forward. Though his speed wasn’t anything impressive, he still closed in the gap between them quickly. When Derek got close enough to the semi he kicked off the ground, sending himself up towards Chaos stood. He only had one thing in mind, and that was to hit Chaos where it hurt. Derek didn’t care what Chaos was gonna’ throw his way, or what damage might be caused to him; all he wanted was to get one last punch in to stop the Big Bad’s rein of chaos. If Derek could get this hit in, hopefully it would be enough to force Chaos to run away, and recover. Derek knew he was opening himself up to an attack as well, but none of that mattered right now. If he could at least stop Chaos today, maybe another day someone else could finish what Derek wasn’t strong enough to.
