The City of Royale - Page 3 Empty Re: The City of Royale

Post by Dr Everyone April 22nd 2011, 10:30 am

Dr.Everyone looked down at the fighting and sent a few of weak fire down at the supers. He couldn't see who was there, so he didn't notice Elena among them. The blanket he sent at them was a dull red, and burned at 500 degrees. It wouldn't really kill any of them. From what he could tell, they were all new to being heroes or villains. At least, new enough. He wouldn't need too much effort.

Then the robot came up to him and asked to converse. Obviously not a hero. A her would have tried to kill him already.

Dr.Everyone let out a small villainish chuckle and replied. "I have no time for talking. But your not getting in my way exactly. I'll let you ask me one question. Catch my attention with it, and maybe I'll talk a bit. Otherwise, your wasting my precious killing time."

The City of Royale - Page 3 Empty Re: The City of Royale

Post by Archer Roland April 22nd 2011, 2:18 pm

Frost could feel the heat build all around them, this wasn’t a good thing for anyone of the heroes involved. He saw that Song and the huge tiki guy were close together, good frost knew that he could use that to his advantage. He ran towards them as fast as he could, luckily he was a pretty fast guy, having run all state for his school’s track team had paid off after all. Once he was between the two of them he pulled water from anywhere he could the ground and the air being the primary sources, thankfully it was a good wet day and there was plenty of water to go around. Using the water to create a protective dome around the three of them, hopefully it would hold.

“Okay, here’s the deal,” Frost said to his two companions, “We’re going to have to divide and conquer.” Things didn’t look to good for the three heroes; they were outnumbered and possibly outmatched to top it off. “Mask man… guy… whatever, you’re the biggest of us all so it might be best if you take on the guy above us.” Frost wasn’t sure about that guy, he was obviously a bad guy that used fire so maybe throwing the strong guy that used lava would be the safest bet.

“Song you take on the guy with black fire,” again Frost didn’t know how to gauge this enemy either, but Song was a skilled martial artist and he could use his powers very effectively. That seemed like a good match up for the three of them, they all had to take on one person, then he remember there was possibly another person there as well, the guy that brought them all there to begin with. Frost didn’t know where he was though and if they were lucky he wouldn’t interfere.

Frost looked quickly to his surprising teammates and said, “If anyone needs help just yell.”

The City of Royale - Page 3 Empty Re: The City of Royale

Post by R.E.A.P.E.R. April 22nd 2011, 6:57 pm

Arrogant. Impatient. Homicidal. I all matched the psyche reports so far. Good, they were easy qualities to manipulate. This man had in one sentence increased his standing with R.E.A.P.E.R. from useful source of data to possible pawn. A highly destructive pawn that's power set was ill matched to rebel against him. Still, best to humour him now, humans were always in such a rush, with their mortality and frailty. R.E.A.P.E.R. couldn't help but chuckle at that last thought. He loved humans so much in part of the humour they provided.

"Thinly veiled challenge: If given the opportunity, would you be interested in killing a significant portion of the Indian population?"

R.E.A.P.E.R. noticed that Everyone’s attack was likely to be nullified by the buys dome. That trick probably wouldn't work a second time though. As it was obvious by Everyone’s mannerisms that he was toying with them, batting them around between his paws before devouring. If it had been a more focused or sustained assault, they would have been in trouble.

Still they were formulating a plan, but made the foolish mistake of saying it out loud. He made wise choices with his selections, for the most part, though he did not factor in terrain, the difference in numbers, or his enemies planning ability in to the equation. The boy clearly had little leadership experience. A retreat would have been a better option, if only to get out of an established kill box with enemies who had an effective range. Worst of all, they had left the faster combatant unattended.

"Endearment: How cute, the fodder is planning. Concurrence: you can answer me after we have dealt with the matter at hand."

With that he simply stood up and strolled off the windows edge, falling without fear or reaction, until landing on the pavement. The concrete cracked from the force of his weight, speed, and the sharp focus of his metal foot. He did not leave a crater or some other such flair, but the move was supposed to be chilling in how casual it was. With that he began ambling towards the group’s leader. He made the mistake of assigning the most important team member, their leader, to the target who was the most strategic to aid first, the multi-talented magic user. Freeing her would be the most beneficial to the group, and killing him the most detrimental to the enemy. He didn't rush in and attack though. After all, a single mistake on the boys’ part and R.E.A.P.E.R. would be fast enough to decide the outcome.

The City of Royale - Page 3 Empty Re: The City of Royale

Post by Song Mao Ken April 22nd 2011, 8:43 pm

Mao listened carefully to the plan, but couldn't help realize a small mistake. It was a mistake very small, yet one problem big enough to get them all killed. They had another problem. There wasn't just three more experienced villains they had to fight, it was four. Not only were they outmatched, but they were outnumbered. Speaking quietly to the other Heroes, "There's more than three. One of us must fight two," he said, pointing to the strange mechanical being. "From what I've seen, he has super-speed." Mao was getting a little worried now. Sure ,he's fought multiple enemies at once before, but never to this magnitude.

Looking to Elena, he noticed her fireball crashing into the water-dome. However powerful both powers were, the fireball canceled out the dome due to matching power, and increased strain in the shield from Dr. Everyone. He couldn't help but think that they needed a much, much better plan. "We need more time!" Yelling that, he did a front flip in front of the other heroes, his feet legs quickly snapping down upon the road. He sat there, bent back, his back leg bent and to the side and his front leg spread as far forward as it could be. His hands on the staff, he quickly spun it around him, creating a small vortex in his area. Spinning it faster and faster, the winds around him became intense.

Releasing the power of his staff with a final revolution, the winds blew out like a hurricane. Spreading to every direction besides directly behind him, it would flow over the now battle-worn road and into the villains ahead. All that were in the way were in danger of shattered bones and broken skin, and for a robot broken systems. A wind that powerful alone could destroy concrete or brick walls, and shatter glass while sending it flying like a dagger. Breathing at a pace more than normal but not enough to incapacitate anyone, he rushed to say, "Now we must formulate a better plan."

Her attack crashed into the dome. Practically canceling it out. As well as Dr.Everyone's attack. The little heroes were severly outnumbered. That was until the monk unleashed his attack. A powerful wind strike. Aimed at all the "villans". Elena braced herself. Sheild forming over her body like a protective membrane. As the winds crashed into her. Sending her flying like a ragdoll. Crashing through buildings. As plumes of dust were tossed up. Till she finally stopped about a block away. A sharp pain coursing through her arm. Hand instinctivly reaching to hold it. Pain burning through it. Damn! It was broken. Of all the times for this to happen. Silently Elena cursed. Yet knowing they thought her out of the battle> She smirked. As she began speaking the words for her healing spell. As the strange blue white tendrils of energy came from her palms. Wrapping around the damaged arm. She could feel the bone slowly knitting back together. It wouldn't be long till she was back into the fight. Only about one and a half minute more. Slowly yet surely the bone healed. Till finally she could move her arm without pain. With that she smiled. "Now i make them pay." She cooed angrily. Fist clenghing so tight that all the knuckles cracked at once.

The City of Royale - Page 3 Empty Re: The City of Royale

Post by R.E.A.P.E.R. April 22nd 2011, 10:24 pm

Waiting to strike at the assumed leader, he didn't see what the monk was doing until he landed. R.E.A.P.E.R. made note of his impressive agility and intuition. The boy clearly lacked a formal education, but his instincts were sharp. He sensed danger on a primordial level, and reacted to that feeling. such powerful instincts were the reason mnan was alive today.

Unofrtunatly the boy let that instinct motivate a sense of fear, not enough to run or inspire cowardice, but enough for him to get depserate with his next attack. As he span his staff around him, R.E.A.P.E.R. quickly understodd it's use to the boy. With no clear leader presenting itself, even strategy being directly contradicted by others, the group also had a poor morale no doubt. A major loss would break them, and the monk had presented an easy target.

R.E.A.P.E.R. turned on his speed. He didn't even wait to see how powerful the move was, as even a bluff would satisfy his strategy. He quickly ran back down the street and down another. If he was lucky, the others would assume he ran away now that the combat made a clear path. He turned back on himself and headed back to the fight from a different direction, a little behind the new heroes before moving back toward thee fight from thier side. When he caught sight of them, the boy was half way through his sdwing, and it was laready clear that the nearest target, the poor witch, was flying back despite her efforts. It meant R.E.A.P.E.R. was right on time.

The boys stance didn't neccesarily say what exact swing he was doing, but it showed that at the end of his swing he would be horribly off balance. R.E.A.P.E.R. could of abused that to land a decisive blow, but that would require him to slow down, which meant a chance of reprisal by his bewildered allies behind him. He went for the safer target.

Getting his timing ready, He ran in top speed and grabbed the staff during the backswing so that his grip would not be noticed quickly/ He then gripped down into the staff, his fingers digging in to the wood and ran. He didn't even pay attention to the boys response to the sudden force pulling on the staff, The best thing he could do was let go quick and settle for friction burn on his hands at worst or wait until the g-force ripped him after possibly dislocating his shoulders. He conitued on his current path across the street and turned back around again ending up at the junction he originally turned at, holding the stave.

"Taunt: I believe this belongs to you."

The City of Royale - Page 3 Empty Re: The City of Royale

Post by Dynamic April 22nd 2011, 10:53 pm

Tiki-Man noticed the 4th villain...a robot, appear in this fight, but could hardly tell what happened after that as he was moving that fast. 4 on 3 this wouldn't be good...Unless he could kill 2 birds with one stone, or better yet, kill two birds with one bird. He knew just how to do it too. He had heard that Song was supposed to take on the guy with black fire, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw Song's staff taken away, probably with that robot with super speed. Thinking that Song would want to get his staff back instead of fighting the guy with black fire, and given the fact that Frost had told him to get the guy above us. He would attempt to take out both guys with one attack.

Tiki-Man planned on how to enact his plan. He focused on the spot the guy with black fire was at. Tiki-Man then preformed a super leap up into the air and then crashed down. When Tiki-Man landed, he also punched the ground full force. Simultaneously, he focused on the spot that deathreaper was at and with the same force that Tiki-Man crashed into the ground with, he made a mini-plateau raise where deathreaper was at the same force, but upwards. He was attempting to launch deathreaper into the air towards the flying, fiery man who had launched an attack before. That's fighting fire with fire, or fighting a fire guy with another fire guy-Tiki-Man thought

Nolen was sent flying throught the air headed strait for dr everyone. The only way he could think to get him tostop before he hit Dr. everyone is to unleash a lot of fire. Nolen did not do a strait long fire otherwise it would have taken him down in stead he unleashed all the fire he could in a wide range attack to slow him down. But it did more than that it sent him in a colision corse right were the hero tikki man use to be right for frost and the monk.

he was about 10 meters above them. he took in a deep breath and held out his hands. a condensed ball formed in his hands made of black fire. He pointed it at them and shot a the most black fire that he never seen eventhough he uses it all the time.

It formed a circle around them burnig outside in. "Ha" he smerked he knew there was no way to get out of this one.

WARNING: THIS POST CONTAINS GRAPHIC MATERIAL THAT MAY BE FOUND OFFENSIVE BY SOME PEOPLE! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

The force of wind hit Dr.Everyone and sent him back, but quickly began to fly against the wind. he was able to fly against the wind for a bit, but the wind overcame him and set him back into the hole he had made in the glass, and through a wall. The wind stopped, and he got up. There was a little girl staring at him. Couldn't be older than eight, no younger than five. Dr.Everyone grinned as he thought.

"So innocent. Only make's what him going to do more pleasurable."

He picked the girl up by the hair as she screamed like all holy hell. He slapped her and dragged her by the hair to the hole in the glass. using only his coolest of fire he set her on fire and listened to her screams, her screams of primordial, pure, innocent, pain. Like music to the man's ears. As he walked to the hole and showed off the burning little girl, he put his hands on either side of her head, and snapped her neck. It snapped ith a crack that would make any normal person go into shock every time they ate Rice Krispies. The girls cries and screams stopped, and Dr.Everyone watched as the life left the girls eyes.

"One closer to my goal. Where is your God now?"

He tossed the dead body out of the building, right for the group of heroes. He yelled from the building.

"HERE'S A PRESENT FOR YOU NEW HEROES! CALL IT A GIFT FROM DR.EVERYONE! WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?"

And the girls burned body kept falling toward the ground, right for the group of heroes, her head and neck out of place. A mangled, burned body of an innocent girl.

But the fight had only begun.

The City of Royale - Page 3 Empty Re: The City of Royale

Post by Archer Roland April 23rd 2011, 12:35 am

Frost saw the mass of fire not only in the air coming towards Song and himself but also all of it around them attempting to eat it’s way in on the two of them. It wasn’t anything he couldn’t take care of with the help of the monk; their combined strength would be more than sufficient for anything the ‘black fire’ kid could throw at them. Then a metal man came out of nowhere and took the staff right out of his hands, which probably wasn’t a good thing. Frost tried to stop the man but he was too fast for even him.

“You don’t need that right now,” Frost yelled to the monk, “we have to stop this fire.” He looked around there had to be something that they could do to stop them, “use your wind to at least push it back, put it out if you can.” Frost was more concerned with the large ball of fire coming straight down for them. “I’ll take that,” he said pointing at the still falling boy above them.

Then he heard it, a gut wrenching scream, a little girl scared for her life. What was going on? Looking up to the building that the flying man had crashed into he saw something he wished he’d never have had to see in his entire life. As soon as it had started it stopped, the girl’s neck was snapped, and her body fell to the ground as horrible man said something about God.

Frost felt the rage build with in him, “You just made a big mistake.” Pulling the water around him he started a small vortex just bigger than both of Frost’s arms stretched out wide. Pulling his arms in around him the vortex closed around him, he took a deep breath before it was too late. This wasn’t going to be a fun ride.

Using the water’s pressurization beneath him as a launching agent he sent himself flying directly for the ball of fire. Once he was close to it he made the water explode out with as much force as he could muster, attempting to knock the black fire user of his course of action. After that he pulled a little more water from the air, he froze it and held it steady as best he could, using the quick construct as a jumping board. He pushed himself as hard as he could into the building the sick twisted man was in. “You are dead. Do you hear me?” Frost wasn’t sure if he was ready to fight this guy or not.

The City of Royale - Page 3 Empty Re: The City of Royale

Post by Song Mao Ken April 23rd 2011, 12:57 am

Right after finishing his move, he felt proud to have effected two people like he did, but as soon as he was pulling his staff around to put it back in both hands and stand up straight, it was ranked right out of his hand. Suffering minor burns on his right hand, he fell over, off balance, and onto his left side. Quickly jumping to his feet, he just realized that the man who took his staff, isn't a man at all. It's that super-fast robot. Taunting him, the robotic creature expected a response from his judgement, but he's a selfless monk. He merely looked over at him, and smirked. "I can make another one," he slyly said.

Realizing Elena was gone and Dr. Everyone was sent flying, he turned around to see what the large shadow was that slowly began to surround him. Looking up, he saw a big mass of fire, and a black color too. He didn't understand how it could be, but he ignored it. Frost had that under control, and he had more important matters to worry about. After all, one villain was missing and the other holding his staff. The one that shot the big mass of black fire, however, flew above them.

He was about to use his fighting skills to formulate some motion to manipulate the air, but hearing a sharp scream of pain, he quickly looked over to the where that building Dr. Everyone crashed into was. It was a disgusting sight. He help the girl out as she burned, and quickly snapped her neck, ending her pain and her life along with it. Throwing the body towards Frost and Mao, he taunted 'God.' God, a touchy subject for most. Mao, however, put it simply. He believed in no higher power. Buddha is the closest thing to a God he had, and even he said he's not a God. It was an unjustified killing in his eyes, something that could not go unpunished. Frost had him in anger, however.

Keeping calm, Mao entered a stance. Putting his fist forward and looking directly across the road, he began to concentrate. It had been a month or so he manipulated the air without his staff, but he's a master. He wouldn't be rusty at all. Slowly bring his hands to him, he began to raise them into the air, bringing his left leg up to his chest, bending it at the knee but his leg still pointing down. Stomping on the ground and clenching his fist, in one swift motion he brought his hands back down and pushed them forward, opening his hands to blast air forward. Before it would hit the buildings on the other side, however, he brought them to a halt by bending his fingers forward, as if he held a blade between his palm and the digits. Then quickly turning the the left, he swung his hands the same way as if pushing something around him. The wall of air he had formulated began to rage down the road, towards REAPER. The wall spanned from both sides of the street, so there was nearly no way to dodge. "Keep the staff," he said back to REAPER, smirking.

Elena had just recovered from her injury. returning to the scene of the battle. The monk and robot thing were stuck in combat. When a horrible sound caught her ear. It was dreadful. Beyond anything she had ever heard. Yet she had heard it before. It was the sound of a little girl screaming in pain. It hit her like a punch to the stomach. As the bile welled up in her throat. She felt sick. treuly and utterly sick. As she saw Dr.Everyone snap her neck after burning her alive. Then dropping the lifeless body. Tears welled up in her eyes. As eh fell to her knees. Having just come into veiw from the holes in the building she was punched through. It was horrible. As the bile overcame her. She puked on the ground. Time and time again she had seen death. Caused it actually. heard the dying screams. Yet this affected her differently. It had no purpose. All the scrifices she made were for magics sake. yet thois had no purpose whatsoever. What was she thinking allowing this guy to join S.C.A.R? It was a mistake that she had to bear. Wiping the bile fro her lips she stood up. As Dr.Everyone was attacked by The Monk. While Nolen had to deal with the ice kid. Elena had to think of a strategy. As the green symbol on her cgest glowed. Power coursing through her body. She looked for something to throw at the monk. Noticing a heavy metal table in the destroyed shop she was in. Lifting it up as if it were nothing, and tossing it at the distracted monk. Hoping to catch him off guard.

The City of Royale - Page 3 Empty Re: The City of Royale

Post by R.E.A.P.E.R. April 24th 2011, 3:13 am

R.E.A.P.E.R. would never understand a search for enlightenment that he knew such monks were fond of. Being a sentient program, he knew everything there was to know about himself, if he thought he was acting strangely, he could not only recall the moments in perfect clarity, he could recall the exact train of programs, algorithms, and data files involved in a decision. Such an attainment of inner peace was intrinsic to his very being. Even with his emotion simulator active, he never really acted irrationally.

As such he found the vast majority of the actions that followed the little girls’ murder irrational. More than any other person present, he knew the intrinsic value of human life. It was his primary logic premise, that human life was its sole reason and worth, and that the measure of all things is based on their relative value compared to human life. The girls’ life had value, but not as much as any of those in the combat possessed as benefit of their abilities. Why the possibility her life possessed was indeed lost, to mourn such an unquantifiable value over ones personal safety in a combat situation was illogical to the point of insanity.

R.E.A.P.E.R. spun the staff around in his hand and proceeded to toss it aside down the street to his right. He felt the melted wax leave the hand as he did so, it being the only thing stopping the stick from bursting into flames at the speed he moved. It wouldn't survive another bout of speed.

As everyone began to regain their composure, he noticed that both the witch behind him and the monk in front of him were going through the motions for another attack. He never understood why mystics always had to go through complex motions for their attacks. It seemed so inefficient to perform such movement, and paying attention to his engaged enemy he saw an instance that he could have easily shattered an ankle. You would think that one of their ancestors would have taken the time to find more efficient motions for their attacks. Perhaps the ideological background made such improvement frowned upon.

Ending his musing, R.E.A.P.E.R. decided to let their attacks compete. Would the witch's projectile simply ignore the wind? Magic could break the normal rules if performed correctly. If not could it overpower it because of the dispersed nature of his enemies attack?

Regardless, he was allowed this musing because the enemy had given him the luxury of repeating the exact same mistakes again. He gave away the information with his attack, specifically that the staff wasn't necessary. He performed an attack at the end of which his stance was off balance again, this time more so than before as his left turn of his torso limited the mobility even more. The attack was more focused and quicker, but this time was R.E.A.P.E.R. not only ready. He was standing in the intersection he used in his last assault. He required even less time to dodge this attack than the last one, as he quickly ran to his right, following the motion of the boys swing. The monk really did need to learn to be more precise.

Dr. Everyone had showed the moral advantage of the battlefield, in that there were plenty of civilians they could use. R.E.A.P.E.R. made note to be impressed by this, as the emotional side effects were already evident and it was an impressive display of pragmatism. R.E.A.P.E.R. was showing the physical advantage though, in that the buildings provided excellent cover not only from physical attacks, but also disguised R.E.A.P.E.R. s movements and made them easier taargets from aerial assaults. Quite simply R.E.A.P.E.R. calculated these odds of success in current terrain at 82.369 percent.

R.E.A.P.E.R. would purposely reappear to the monks left, just inside his peripheral vision so as to been seen. R.E.A.P.E.R. didn't know how their mystic exchange would turn out, so he actually did need to slow to allow the conflict to resolve itself. He also knew the boy would have to make himself more vulnerable if he had to dodge, making R.E.A.P.E.R.s attack all the more devastating. He also wanted to give the boy a little taste of fear, which wouldn't be hard considering his emotional state.

"Onomatopoeia: Boo!"

The City of Royale - Page 3 Empty Re: The City of Royale

Everything around Tiki-Man happened so quickly. From his own attack somewhat backfiring by having the blackfire kid change his direction and attack, endangering his teammates, to them quickly counteracting that attack, to people getting blown through buildings, and much more. However, the thing that he saw angered him the most was the senseless killing of a child by the one called Dr.Everyone. Tiki-Man's first priority as a hero was to protect the innocent and he had failed. This made him feel a combination of anger, sadness, and failure. No, he was going to do something about this.

Tiki-Man was preparing himself for a leap inside the building when he noticed that Frost was going towards him. He still wanted to go up there and fight him, but he figured it'd be pointless. Although him and Frost almost certainly would have beaten Dr.Everyone, It would have left Song 1 on 3. He had already risked Song's life with that foolish "2 birds with 1 bird" technique and he didn't want it to happen again. Everything was just going so fast he needed to slow down...and he knew exactly how.

Tiki-Man brought his hand up into the air. He knew he'd need to hit the ground full force if this was going to work. Tiki-Man focused on concentrating his strength into one punch and with that he punched the ground as hard as possible. The punch had only made a slight shockwave, barely noticeable, but with his powers of the earth, he amplified the slight seismic wave he had created, increasing it's strength and distance. It wasn't anything too powerful, not enough to knock down a house or anything, but the ground shaking was intense and probably would have caused them to shake and stop whatever they were doing. He was unsure if Frost and the doctor would feel it in the building, but he hoped not...He wanted to see the outcome of that battle.

Tiki-Man then realized he didn't account for Song being on the floor. It wouldn't be anything incredibly dangerous or anything, but he should have at least given a heads up or something. Tiki-Man thought that he was really failing as a hero today. Couldn't save a girl, endangered teammates...he just hoped it'd get better than this. And this is why I'd rather stay Tony...too much responsibility-Tiki-Man thought.

Even though he used alot of power, he did not hit frost and mao with the attack. Frost had started to run toward Dr. Everyone in the hope of beating him for killing the poor inocent girl. Nolen flipped from the air on to a building and watched th rest of the girls body burn and he smerked and shouted out, " YOU HEROS ARE PATHETIC, YOU COULD NOT EVEN SAVE A MERE INOCENT LIFE AND NOW YOUR SAD AND HEART BROKEN YOU MORONS FIGHT FOR REAL OR DIE".

He thous looked back at Frost who had gotten extremely close to Dr. Everyone and started to feel a rumble. He looked around and the rocks that made the concrete roof were ratling back and forth. Whats going on? He looked around and saw nothing until at the corner of his eye he had seen the Tiki Man had hit the ground. WOW with that strength he is able to make a very small minature earthquake.

All this ratling made him woosy and uncofortable. He was getting sick in not being able to attack anyone and thought of the most deadly attack he had Hell Fire. First the will not know what i am doing and second this would do damage to him and a hell of alot more damage to them. He jumped down and almost fell becaause the earth was still shaking but he was going to stop that. He put his hands out in front of him and emidiatlley black fire hovered or fron of him i a big flame. He closed his eyes then concentrated. This would take alot more energy then what he needed it to. His arms started to rot in small places and the fire got much bigger and darker than night.

It was a never ending engulfing flame and he yelled out" BLACK , FIRE" then shot the big mass of fire at Tiki Man planing to take his life with the most powerful attack the never ending hell fire.
