Revet Saonsul

Personality:
Revet Saonsul is a very Byronic character, displaying every single trait of a typical dark and romantically brooding person. He possesses a high level of arrogance and a large pride in his own abilities; mainly his speed and agility. Revet also displays a large intelligence and perception for a person his age. He is street smart and incredibly savvy, allowing him great cunning and the ability to adapt to any situation. Revet is very sophisticated and highly educated as well. Among his other traits is the fact that he is self-critical and introspective. Because he is not the norm, Revet is also quite mysterious. This adds to his magnetic and charismatic appeal. Even though he tries to be good, he often struggles with integrity. His looks attract a large sexual arousal and increases his seductiveness. This also adds up this his social and sexual dominance. Due to his rough past, he has emotional conflicts and can be often moody. Revet is not the most patient person and also dislikes normal things as well as social institutions. That explains his complete disrespect for rank and privilege. Because he has lived on the street for a very long time, he is quite jaded and world weary. Due to his jadedness, Revet is cynic and has a very self-destructive behavior; excluding drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.

History:
Revet Saonsul was born on the tropical islands of Jamaica. Saonsul's parents were two average human beings of a young age settling down in a peaceful place with a child as proof. However Saonsul's father got acquainted with the wrong people which forced the small family to move to the city of New York. There they lived normal lives all the way through Revet's childhood. As Saonsul grew up through his childhood years, he took a large interest in running, and took a large entertainment and excitement from it. Saonsul's mutant abilities were manifesting itself through his speed, strength, and agility, leading to his rather hyperactive appearance, and not having many friends due to his label as a misfit. However there was one girl who found his running lifestyle fun and exciting. Her name was Atlee Satnel, and she also had a large fondness for running. They got to know each other a bit more, and played together a lot, eventually becoming childhood sweethearts.

In his Adolescence, Saonsul took up running packages for people as a main job. Due to his speed and development of free running and parkour skills, he had a part time career as a messenger. He was still with his childhood sweetheart at the time, and on occasion they would run packages together and split the money. One day Saonsul had a rather high profile job that he was assigned with his girlfriend Satnel. During which, they got chased by the cops through a factory which they caused a lot of damage in, and one person was even killed in the process. Not wanting to be charged for manslaughter as an adult like they were led to believe, the couple ran away together, and made their business a full time job.

Through adulthood, things were relatively unsteady for Saonsul and Satnel because they had to remain on the move. Authorities hounded them increasingly over those years as they were now adults. Their delivery business was now rendered illegal due to them being wanted criminals. That was why they had began to take on low profile jobs for less than outstanding citizens. Things changed between them during one faithful night of running a package. Saonsul and Satnel argued and broke up soon afterward, both running a competing messenger business. It was a whole year that they wouldn't see each other before one night when they were both given the same packages. The delivery operation turned out to be a sting to catch both Saonsul and Satnel. They figured this out when they had both reached a room that was locked down immediately with the authorities descending on the location. The two of them made up with each other and decided a plan to get out of the situation alive. Saonsul would try and bar the room while Satnel used her high computer skills to get them an exit. Eventually, Saonsul just told his lover to leave without him, but the situation flipped as he was thrown out of the new exit, with Satnel locking the door behind him. All he could hear was gunfire before he left, only thinking she was dead. When he finally got out, Revet Saonsul looked over the city on a high rooftop, and reminisced his past life when he had first met Satnel Atlee.

Powers:
Kinetic Absorption: Revet Saonsul is naturally able to absorb the kinetic energy from various sources and use it to supplement himself in different ways. He can also charge his melee attacks electrically.
-Superhuman Agility: Revet's agility is far above that of the finest Olympic athletes to ever compete.
-Superhuman Stamina: Revet is able to exert himself at his peak for several hours.
-Superhuman Equilibrium: Revet can balance on virtually anything as long as it can support his weight.
-Electrical Resistance: Revet can resist electricity to a superhuman level greater than any human being.
-Enhanced Regeneration: Revet can heal in days what would usually take weeks.

This might be a problem, and the only reason I could see this app not being approved yet. Manipulation of Gravity can be a very powerful ability, and even though you didn't make it too powerful I'm just letting you know that you can not in anyway fly, hover or anything like that. I don't think it's a problem to run up walls or take less falling damage, but your Manipulation of Gravity can only be so powerful or else it would be breaking the rules. You could have the ability to fly with 22 points on a powergrid, get what I'm saying man?

I'd say that you can run up walls for a short period of time until gravity pulls you back down, so no running up skyscrapers or anything like that.

I think that this is actually ok. Pretty much you can fall at less gravity so you don't 'Splat' against the floor when you fall, but you can't lift yourself off the ground with it. You can jump higher, but no hovering.

So as long as you clarify that you CAN NOT weaken the gravity enough to lift a human off the ground, and attempted to hover, I can approve this.

I also made a powegrid for ya' while I was at it.

His outward gravity manipulation is RESTRAINED to the physics rope indefinitely.

Also he does not fly, his ability to gravity skate is kind of like swinging from a vines. Except there are no vines and it looks totally more awesome.

I mean he will still fall no matter what. It's just he will either fall slower or be able to not fall for a short period of time. When he is doing his gravity skating he skates, is about to fall, and then continues. It isn't as flexible as flying, and it requires him to land if he wants to stop.

Well whatever lifting of a human he can do, he'd have to use his own physical strength with the manipulation. Basically he'd have to use both abilities to do that.

Then he gets 21 points. We're trying a new system out. You have what we call pseudo-flight. While it isn't a true flight ability, it gives you the ability to travel through the air and at least stop yourself from falling enough to not hurt you.

Thanks Gregor, I wasn't completely sure how to handle Gravitation Manipulation. Thats why I was hesitant on approving these. So pretty much if you want to be able to manipulate gravity you need to lose a point on your powergrid.

The whole thing acts as if he is swinging from a rope... Would spider-man have to lose a point too?

Actually yeah Spidy would lose a point . Special powers cannot grant fling capabilities. Like if you had telekinesis and you wanted to lift yourself with you mind, you'd have to lose a point.

Anywayz, what exactly do you mean with 'control over Earth and Plants'? Can he make plants grow and die and all the stuff? Can he turn a building into a big pile of smouldering lava with a flick of his wrist or is it more like Earth-bending (a la Avatar; the last airbender)?

By the way, not that it's wrong in any way, but doesn't his history seem a bit...uhm...weird to you, considering we are situated in a (sort of) modern day society (the whole tresure-hunting thingy at age 17)? Or that he runs away because his parents are restricting him a bit ('No, Daniel, you can't go out drinking on a Tuesday night. Besides, you are underaged and could get in trouble when you do so") when before that he cherises everything they give him? That kinda does make him look like a spoiled brat. At least to me.

Not to be a hater and such, but mister Morister here does seem like a Gary Sue.
I actually liked him better when you had that difficult to explain gravity manipulation power.

You seem to put a lot of faith in 3 intelligence. 3 is average yet he is able to overcome the odds of a perilous dungeon with a rusty sword. Just a suggestion, maybe up his Int.

2 is average.
3 is gifted or educated college level.

Why is it that no matter how small or how big a special event is, whenever it is a character's history he is immediately a gary stu? Can one thing special happen to a character without him automatically being just some wish fulfillment?

So what if we are in modern society... He can't explore the wilderness? He isn't treasure hunting either. His parents wanted him to grow up and take over their business which he didn't want. They refused swordsman lessons, and just made him study in a field he found no joy in. He grew irritated at the fact his parents were incredibly shallow, and the world of richness was not for him.

Where did you even see "little" anywhere near restrictions?

Do you know that cherishing something is to hold something sacred? A spoiled brat never values anything they get and only wants to fulfill themselves.

Also, I would say most people on this site have 3 intelligence, yet I doubt anyone could make their way through a elaborate dungeon.

Intelligence is not the only thing you would need here. Your intellect may help you with traps, but not so much against powerful enemies. If anything, I'd give him more Fighting Skills, or at least a higher physical stat.
